Dream come true
I never rate more than 4 star anywhere, but this was right in between 4 & 5. Damn, where do it start. AFter reaching Arusha and having lunch, we proceeded further and in now time I saw flock of pelicans, Then near manyara lodge i saw the first migration of storks. The lodges. I thought my first lodge was at Tarangire was a 5 star but it wasnt. Only problem was that calls dropped a lot and not internet at all. Then went Serengeti Soroi, hell I thought even that was a 5 star. I mean the people there, the chefs, The Suuth African managers were really nice hospitable people. I even got along well with the masai guards. Being Tanzanian, this was a dream come true. I loved the balcony showering naked outside experience. Then going on to Ngorngoro Serena Lodge, OMG. The lodges kept getting better. The one major change in the lodges would be a heating system, cause the tents got pretty chilly inside.
Talking about the tour guides, honestly no words or them, and i damn well miss them so have found a ways to stay in touch with them. Godfrey Fortunatus & Rashidi Golugwa. Both good friends, and very respectful and knowledgeable. Hope to see these guys soon. Definitely recommend people to ask fo these 2 guides and they get promoted. Mr. Sheny, thank you for having such nice tents, the experience of having lions just few 100 feet away, I feel proud today saying Im a Tanzanian.

Mt. Meru Claimb
My grown daughter and I had a fine experience climbing Mt. Meru. Tanzania Expeditions did a great job for us on the 4 day climb and we made it to the summit. We chose Meru over Kilimanjaro in order to spend fewer days on the climb. But Meru has some exposed areas that were a little concerning and I got a scraped knee when I fell on loose rock during the descent. In retrospect, I would do Kilimanjaro instead of Meru. I would use Tanzania Expeditions again.

Overall it was good but could have been better.
The service was good, communications excellent, accommodating our place to meet was very good. The tour of the refuge itself was very good, Raymond knows the refuge very well and got us some excellent wildlife photo shots.
Two negatives that all our team agreed on: 1. Raymond drives a bit too fast. I know the roads are rough, but in some places a bit of caution would be prudent. 2. We were the only visitors in the camp, it was a bit unnerving for the ladies in our group. I would request if we come back again, not to be housed as the only visitors in the camp. Not sure what the reason was, I asked a couple of times why, but was never given a satisfactory answer.

Good but some obvious improvements
Good :
- Communication over email and whatsapp was good and fast.
- The guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
- The first 2 hotels (in Aberdares and Samburu) were amazing.
- Great night safari in Ol Pejeta
- Very nice parks altogether.
To improve :
- The duration of drives from a park to the next had been underestimated of an hour or so each time. Long drives on the road and less time for safaris.
- The itinerary included 4 parks which was too many in our opinion for only 6 days, especially as drives were longer than expected. 3 parks would have been enough.
- On our last day, the hotel booked by Mwema (Falcon Heights) was 35 minutes down the road from the entrance of the park. We lost over an hour and a half that day driving back and forth.

An unforgettable experience.
Our guides were very experienced and we had a wonderful 10 days in 3 separate camps. Our game drives were punctuated with morning tea and sundowners. When we got back to camp the fire was lit and we were served delicious meals. Having covered vehicles meant we were warm in the cold early mornings and felt secure all day. Jane's love and knowledge of the animals and Botswana was very obvious and we looked forward to her story telling around the camp fire each evening.
you get what Peter says you would
Peter was transparent on what the safari (Massai Mara, 3 days) would be in terms of transport, accomodation, type of animals to be likely seen and all financial aspects. The journey back took more than 5 hours and were were tossed from one car into another, and given no clear explanation what was happening and where we are to be expected to be back to Nairobi. This didn't spoil the overall impression.

Excellent trip, well balanced program, great guides
The experience with the company started not really well - incorrect budget calculations, lodges offered finally were not available, some turbulences with contract sign off. But despite all these mistakes the company demonstrated great honest attitude, unique flexibility, care about our expectations and budget wise was one of the most reasonable agency we had briefed. The 12 days program was tight: Tarangire, Eyasi, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Natron and Manyara. Exhausting but well balanced. Guides with amazing attitude, caring about us in all aspects. Some lodges and camps could have been better, some too luxurous, so the budget could have been allocated better. Tips were nightmare, spoiling a bit the whole good impression. But we do recommend this agency for its enormous flexibility, price affordability and quality of guides. To be improved though: policy of tipping, booking of lodges/camps in time and with more balanced standard.
