great budget tour
5/5

Wildlife at its best even in January that is supposed to be not the best season. Lots of animals (including the elusive cats)., really close to the car. Very professional driver (they knew how to catch the animals) and good cooker.
A great opportunity to enjoy such amazing wildlife in a budget.
The 3 night/4 day program (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) is perfect, but i you are an enthusiastic of wildlife, ask for a day more at Serengeti. And do not miss Tarangire! where you will see hundreds of elephants.
If you can afford it, try the optional 5th day a Manyara lake visiting also one Masai village, and a waterfall.
100 % recommended

About: Uganda
Birding and primates destination
Overall rating
4/5

Uganda is a safe destination. Is has a true African vibe. Friendly and welcoming to tourists.

If you are into birding and if you want to see a big variety of primates, Uganda is a good option. Gorilla trekking is expensive and too commercialized.

General game viewing is Ok, but there are many counties like Sout-Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia where game is more abundant and much cheaper to experience.

We only had a relatively short time in the Park but certainly enjoyed both the scenery and all the elephants.

About: Botswana
The safari was really really wonderful
Overall rating
5/5

We did 6 days safari with Kingfisher Safari. Our guide Pilot and the crew was so caring and open, sympatic, just wonderful people. We went to Moremi and Kwahi and had a really really cool time. Even though it was rainy and high grass season we saw a lot if wild life: Elefants, lions, leopard, wild dog, giraffe, zebra, hippo and so on. We slept in tents. Beeing in the mid thirties we have to admit the heat, the confort in the tent and waking up between 5-6 is kind of exhausting. We would do it everytime again, maybe a day or two shorter would also be ok. The sceneries you see are really unbelievable. You will never forget those pictures. We can really recommend the safari and can only say good things about the crew from Kingsfisher (Pilot a tour guide was so good).

A Boutique Park
Overall rating
3/5

This was a great Park to start in, considering some slight jet lag we were dealing with. It’s a small park in comparison to most others, but hasn’t any of the main predators in it like lions, leopard and hyena BUT this means all the animals we did see were quite relaxed with our presence

Wildlife highlights here included the very beautiful black & white but shy Colobus monkeys with their long fluffy white tails. Around one of the lakes in the park was an abundance of Lesser Pink Flamingoes constantly feeding and also some of our favourite birds, the African Fish Eagle. There were numerous large and very confident ‘tribes’ of baboons, which would happily sit very close to our vehicle and the baby baboons kept us very amused with their playful antics. There are also quite shy Blue Monkeys and plenty of zebra, giraffe and buffalo.

Our accommodation outside the Park near Arusha was fabulous!

About: Tanzania
Absolutely amazing experience
Overall rating
5/5

Me and my husband recently embarked on an awe-inspiring safari adventure in Tanzania, exploring the remarkable Tarangire National Park, the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and the iconic Serengeti National Park. This journey proved to be an extraordinary encounter with nature's wonders, providing us with a firsthand glimpse into the fascinating wildlife and rich culture of Tanzania.

The safari offered us an unforgettable spectacle of the "Big Five" and so much more. We were privileged to witness the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacle that was nothing short of breathtaking. The endless plains filled with thousands of wildebeest and zebras, accompanied by the stealthy predators lurking nearby, painted a vivid picture of nature's raw beauty and the circle of life.

The timing of our safari was impeccable. As we arrived towards the end of the rainy season. The weather during our trip was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters without any hindrance.

One of the key factors that made this safari experience truly exceptional was our tour guide, Venance, from African Big Cats Safari. Throughout our journey, Venance's passion for his homeland and its wildlife was evident. He shared captivating stories, fascinating facts, and insightful information about the local culture, further enriching our experience. His deep understanding of Tanzania's ecosystems and wildlife behaviors made each encounter all the more meaningful and educational.

In conclusion, my safari experience in Tanzania surpassed all expectations. From the astonishing wildlife sightings, including the majestic "Big Five," to the exceptional expertise and dedication of our tour guide, Venance, every moment was filled with wonder and enchantment. The combination of exploring Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park provided a comprehensive and diverse experience that highlighted the best of Tanzania's natural treasures. Witnessing the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration was an absolute highlight, offering an unforgettable glimpse into one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles. If you're seeking an adventure that combines breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, and a profound connection with nature, a safari in Tanzania should be at the top of your list.

South Africa was absolutely breathtaking!
Overall rating
5/5

The experience was breathtaking from the moment we landed at the lodge, seeing all the big 5 animals and more within less than 24 hours. The service was exceptional, weather was great as it was chilly in the morning and evening but hot during the day. We felt safe and were with guides with 20+ years of experience. Safari Bookings did a great job of providing a detailed itinerary and was quick to respond.

It is a small park too close to the human populated areas and the big road that crosses it spoils the great environment of the Morogoro area.
