Amazing adventure that stays with you long after it has ended
4/5

The safari was good. We only did a short one over a weekend, but got all we needed and made some good friends on the way. Where we stayed was great and the tour guides were great too. We are vegetarians, so that was our only struggle, to find suitable food. Otherwise we were very happy.

Good safari for a good price
4/5

I booked a 3 days/2 nights safari and it was really worth it. Got to see all of the Big 5 and a couple of cheetas. We camped in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The tents were a little bit smelly and wet. A cook joined us to prepare all the meals and did a wonderful job. The guides could make some effort to improve their English and provide more explanations regarding the animals and their habitat during the safari.

A beautiful Safari Expereince
4/5

It was a nice experience to do the safari at serengeti, lake manyara and ngorongoro.
The communication was extremly hard, because we booked over an kenyan company.
Living in the tents was great - matresses and sleeping bags where available.
The next time it would be great to know that we need a small bag for 2 days, and maybe how the climate it at ngorongoro - because there we had really cold.

Great safari value
4/5

If you're looking for a good value safari, try a Back of Africa camping safari. Our family of five enjoyed a private four-day safari in Tanzania where we saw the Big 5 and so much more. Prior to the trip, I communicated with Allan, the owner, via email and always received a prompt, detailed response. The trip itself was well organized and went smoothly. Our driver/guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. He did a great job spotting a wide variety of animals and made sure we were informed in advance about plans for the next day. The safari vehicles are an older model and the campgrounds have basic accomodations. Set your expectations there and you won't be disappointed. The game drives, however, are spectacular. We have lots of postcard worthy pictures and great memories. If you want to do Africa on a budget and are willing to camp, I highly recommend Back of Africa for a camping safari.

Kilimanjaro + Safari
4/5

We arranged our trip to Tanzania with BMS for 6 days of Kilimanjaro (Machame) and 5 days of Safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Manyara national parks).

The price we had was overall reasonable in comparison to other companies and they generally took care of us well considering we were budget travellers.

Only problem we had was tipping after Kilimanjaro which is not related with company actually but only with porters, and do not believe what you read online otherwise you are expected to be paying 300 USD which is crazy.

BMS is a good company and we can recommend to anyone. (Especially ask for the guide named ''Elias'', an experienced, genuine guy makes your trips more enjoyable.

Wonderfull experience
4/5

From day one Mike was helpfull and set up a 2 days visit to Amboselli and a 3 days visit to Masai Mara for us. I travelled with my wife on a private tour with Ancient. First transportation was quire old. We asked a different car for the second safari and Mike acceded kindly. Our driver found the best spot for watching the animals and gave useful explanations. Mike was allways in touch via whatsapp and responded promptly to our requests. Advisable company to hire.

3days-budget safari, Ngorongoro/Tarangire/Manyara
4/5

We where two people going on a three days budget safari to ngorongoro, lake manyara and tarangire. We had two nights in "bungalows" at the panorama lodge near manyara.

We got picked up by our driver, Cosmos, at the correct time. We where happy with Cosmos as a driver and guide, and he was easy to be with. We where also happy with the tour, we saw a lot of animals (4 out of 5 of the "big five") and a lot of nice landscapes. The lodge we where sleeping inn was probably the only downside. The bungalows where ok, but the food not so much. But the lodge had a very nice view over lake manyara, where you can see the sunrise and that was nice.

The day after the safari the company drove us to the airport at the correct time. All in all are we very happy with the tour.

Unforgettable experience.
4/5

Get the luxury safari it will be worth it. We stayed in the private section of Kruger and our tour guide, Kavi was very passionate about the animals and plants. Very long drive (took us 7-8 hours) but worth it. Andre was very efficient and easy to talk to.
