A great driver took me through a world of marvels.
5/5

I really enjoyed the driver that came to pick me up. He did not have the dour demeanor of some of my recent taxi drivers. Many hours driving with him was no problem, we mostly rode in silence. Then we carved through otherworldly terraced mountains to the gorilla lodge, situated on the very edge of the rainforest, filled with strange monkey and bird noises. Great food, great beds, no WiFi or distractions, and of course there was an adorable baby gorilla in there somewhere.

Excellent Safari Experience!
5/5

As anyone who has gone on a safari or wants to go on a safari knows, it takes A LOT of research to find what you only hope will fulfill your safari dreams. We had the opportunity to do a safari for 2 days Masai Mara. At Masai Mara we saw the Big 5 and literally passed giraffes and zebras going to and from our lodge. The superb! moment of our safari was the Wildebeest migration. We added the visit to the Masai Village and we were so glad that we did as it was one of the most memorable moments of the safari. 1 night Lake Nakuru, was an enchantment, we had a wonderful experience at L Nakuru National park and our driver guide who was very knowledgeable explained to us of all the bird behaviors. Our last 2 days were spent at Amboseli. Amboseli is known for the number of elephants and it is absolutely true! We enjoyed seeing elephants play in the swamp! Watching their family dynamics was mesmerizing. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro was breathtaking. All in all our safari was fantastic and thanks to the knowledgeable and experienced guide Kamau. We had an excellent experience!

A breathtaking, thrilling and, above all, memorable experience.
5/5

Our tour of the Ngorongoro Crater was my very first Safari tour ever. Naturally I had been excited and I am happy to report that the trip met and exceeded my expectations. The wildlife was plentiful, the scenery awe-inspiring and the tour guide knowledgeable. Ultimately I can wholeheartedly recommend the trip to safari newcomers and enthusiasts alike.

A well managed trip with experienced and personable guides who looked after our requirements.
5/5

I have few criticisms of the canoe safari as it lived up to expectations. However I would recommend that guides have laminated sheets of pictures of animals and birds with some basic information. Also it was not clear in communication what the cost of park entry was.

A fabulous African experience thanks to Encompass Africa.
5/5

We booked a 6 week trip with Encompass Africa taking in a self driving trip Cape Town and the garden route, Namibia, Botswana, Victoria Falls and Zambia. The destinations suggested by Jono from Encompass were fantastic, from our mobile camping experience in Botswana, 4WD self drive in Namibia including 5 different camps from Sossusvlei to Damaraland and through Etosha back to Windhoek. 2 nights experiencing the beautiful Victoria Falls. Then on to two amazing riverside camps in Zambia's Lower Zambezi. The lodges and camps booked for us in each destination were first rate and the amenities at each were beautiful. We were so impressed by the enthusiasm shown by the management and staff at each camp, from the house maids right through to the guides and wait staff. They all just love their jobs and love to share their experiences with the guests.
Our itinerary arranged by Encompass was fabulous and we can't wait to experience our next trip to Africa and of course will book with Encompass Africa. Thankyou Jono and the team. You made our holiday a trip of a lifetime.

An amazing experience in the bush with wonderful game drives while staying in a beautiful camp.
5/5

The staff were friendly and attentive and our guide on the game drives was most knowledgeable and generous with his time. The water hole at the camp was a real bonus enabling us to view close up so many animals and birds. I would recommend Shenton Safaris to any one interested in visiting Zambia on a safari holiday.

Had high expectations, and the experience was even better.
5/5

Cannot complain about anything related to the safari. Correspondence by with Madi was helpful, clear and immediate. Our guide, Simon, was always punctual and I felt that he really did his best for us to have a great time - only the cheetah was missing from the animals which we were expecting and hoping to see, and up to the last drive he tried to make it possible (no luck, but obviously not his fault - we still made up for it with great sightings of other animals) - and he also managed to accommodate everyone's dietary requirements (which was not a simple task). The chosen accommodation at Skukuza was also very good, nothing fancy, but comfortable and caters for all basic needs.
