Wonderful introduction to Tanzania

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of game we saw here, lots of elephants everywhere, beautiful scenery. Much quieter then the Serengeti which we appreciated.

This Park puts your world and your place in it, in perspective.

I love this Park and the way it is managed. I have lived on 4 different continents, and experienced many scenarios in my lifetime, but I keep returning to Kruger. It puts my life into another perspective.

We booked our Safari before we came to Kenya. It was a great break next to our beach holiday where we enjoyed the underwater life. Safari was great, we saw só kant animals, in a beautiful environment . We loved Kenya, because of the people and nature.

More history than wildlife
Overall rating
3/5

The Waterberg is not as interesting for the wildlife as one could expect, especially when Etosha is so close. However, the dirt roads inside and around it are really pleasant to drive. The cliffs of the plateau are impressive, particularly at sunset. The most interesting about the Waterberg Plateau is that it makes an opportunity to learn about the history of Namibia, as the Herero fought the Germans at this exact place. There is a German war cemetery within the park boundaries. For the rest, Etosha provides much more for the same price (or less).

About: Kenya
Our safari with Alex as our tour guide was everything we could have imagined!
Overall rating
5/5

From the moment Alex picked us up from our hotel with gifts, to the moment he dropped us back off, was incredible. He stopped half way to Amboseli, so we could go to the bathroom. Then he made several quick stops along the side of the road so we could see the giraffe, as we were so excited seeing the very first one. He also made sure to stop at the Amboseli National Park sign so we could take pictures and pick up a booklet with all the animal names. Once inside the park, he did everything he could to make us comfortable, see all the animals possible, and get us to our meals on time. Our resort, Ol Tuaki was AMAZING! It was absolutely gorgeous, overlooking Mt Kilimanjaro, with elephants and zebra everywhere. The staff greeted us with a cool cloth and took our bags to our rooms so we could enjoy a buffet lunch that was more than we could possibly eat, with foods of all varieties. Our room was top notch, overlooking the national park. Our only regret is we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the resort, as we spent so much time out looking at animals. I highly recommend Morning Start and Alex for your safari needs.

About: Kenya
Wild life that everyone should experience at least once in their life time.
Overall rating
5/5

In February, Amboseli was surprisingly dry except for the swamps and lakes. The Masai Mara was green, but the large herds were gone. But same thing with the hordes of tourists which was nice. As the grass was lower, the animals were easier to spot and we managed to see the big 5 (a rhino was spotted in Nakuru and others in the Mara).

I will definitely visit Kenya and the Masai Mara again, but next time I will do it in August.

About: Botswana
Beautiful nature and authentic wildlife

We did a 2-day safari in Chobe National Park from Victoria Falls. We'd heard that the eastern part of the park can have quite high traffic at times, but that was not our experience at all. Our safari guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, and saw amazing wildlife at very close distance. Highly recommend.

So many cars in 2014. Except for the elephants, we did not see all the animals we saw in 2011.
