Dutch rangers on tour
4/5

I've have had a great time with the tour guides of Shemeji Safari & Tours. We went with 4 Dutch girls on a 3 day safari in the Serengeti area and Ngorongoro crater. On Friday we left very early in the morning to the Serengeti National Park. On the way Jozef tried to repare the electricity in the car, so we were able to charge our phones and camera's. Unfortunately this did not work out. After passing the registration areas, luckily It did not take that long as we had expected, we entered the park. On the first day we had perfect weather and we have seen lots of animals already. Jozef was very helpfull to find as many animals as possible. After a long but satifsying day we arrived at the camp where our amazing chef started to prepare our dinner. The food was very good and filled our bellies. After a shower, which was possible since a couple of weeks, we were ready to go to sleep. The next morning we woke up early to see the beautiful sunrise. The second day was again a warm and beautiful day. It is such an amazing park with lovely views and animals. In the afternoon we almost saw a lion catching a Gazelle, nevertheless the Gazelle recognized the lion and ran away. At the end of the day we arrived at our second camp in the Ngorongoro crater. A nice place with a view inside the crater. It was pretty cold in this area, so we went bed early and tried to make ourselves warm enough.

The next day we went into the crater. It was still a bit cloudy and chilly, but this created a beautiful sky with some sun coming through. Around noon we left the crater and went back to Arusha.

It was such a great safari. I have been on safari in South Africa and this felt much more like a real safari. I would definitely recommend Shemeji Safari & Tours and hope that I am able to come back to see more from the Serengeti area. Thank you so much for this experience! I will never forget it!

The safari was fantastic- we got to see everything we dreamed of and our guide was great.
4/5

The office staff were helpful with answering g questions prior to the trip. We were pleased to be picked up from the airport, even though our safari didn't start until the next day. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Be prepared for bumpy roads and fast driving! The camp we stayed at was suitable. The beds were not the most comfortable but it was nice to have water and some electricity available. The food was good and all staff members were friendly. The safari was amazing! We were not disappointed. We got to see everything we hoped for and more.

We had a Great Time
4/5

Me and my 2 travelling companions had a Great Trip/Adventure. Sure there was a minor change to our itinerary in Tanzania, but it turned out to be for the better. And we also had a bit of a mix up on the return trip transportation... but nothing to get all excited about. Saw the Big 5 and then some. Erick was good and helpful to us. And Erick's team of Ken, Paul and especially our Driver/Guide - Patrick were wonderful.

We did an 11-day trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Stayed in a couple of Hotels, plus large and small Tents. We roughed it a bit as not all the camps were up to par. But it's part of the experience. If you are expecting 3 to 5-star accommodations, you'll be disappointed. So just go with the flow. Food was good all around (especially in Tanzania where we had our own 'cook' with us).

Saw lots of Lions eating fresh kill, Elephants crossing the road right near us. Leopards and Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, etc. Bring a good Zoom lens as you sometimes are a bit distant from the animals. Glad I went and not sure why I didn't do this trip before.

Guides were really kind and the experience looking for the aninals was spectacular.
4/5

The safaris were really good. The guides always tried us to remember things related to the National Parks and looked for opportunities to find as many animals as possible.
The communications were good.
The service was very good and taking out a few misunderstandings everything was up to our expectations.

Excellent 16day self drive tour in Namibia!
4/5

Very good preparation of the trip : quick & precise answers, good custom to our expectations. Good & detailed itinerary, except for activities schedule which should be more precise.
The rental 4WD was very good and almost brand new (4000km). Good safety equipment and good quality tyres (no puncture during the 4880km drive). Good camping equipment & tent. The spare tyre should be put away, in order to save room into the 4WD. Fridge temperature set-up not so easy but very powerful. AVG diesel consumption = 12L/100km.
Accomodation very good - very good balance between comfort and wild environment. Except in swakopmund bungalows, which are a bit outdated and charmless.
Activities were excellent : Himba village, Swakop township, Okonjima rehabilitation center, Kahalari, Waterberg, Etosha drives, Sandwich harbour 4WD drive, Pelican point kayaking... really good memories!!
To sum -up : I recommend Kangaroo traveller!

A Kenyan Adventure
4/5

I booked my safari adventure with Patrick back in April. Patrick and his team were very responsive to all my questions and concerns. They were great!!
I booked a 2 night 3 day to The Masai Mara then a 2 night 3 days to Amboseli National Park. Both were Amazing! Our driver, Stanley, was knowledgable on his surroundings and about the animals. We did have 3 flat tires along the way to Lake Nakuru, but Stanley took care of it right away. The tents we stayed in however didn't have hot water. So the mornings were a little rough. Food that was served was decent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice package deal for what you pay for.
Thanks again for the great memories!!!

Had a fantastic time, would go back.
4/5

Booking process was very easy and I do feel we got what we expected. Our guides were all very kind, patient, and knowledgeable - they all went out of their way to give us the best vacation. We felt very comfortable and at home. We saw a lot of amazing wildlife. Wish I could give 4.5 stars.

It was our first time in Kenya/Tanzania and this safari was an excellent way to see many parks! Hope to go back someday.

3-day safari for 3 persons from Nairobi to Amboseli Parc
4/5

The Safari experienced with East Africa Shuttles and Safaris was great, we could book it quickly (~1week before the date); everything was organized by email, from the program to the meeting point and the payment mode. The consultant was reactive by email and we could organize everything pretty easily. The driver came to pick us up at our hotel which was appreciable,, and the payment made the morning of the departure (euros).
we particularly appreciated our driver Ruben who knew very well how and when to give us explanation, or just stop the car and let us appreciate in silence the walk of the elephants ...
The Kibo Safari camp we chose was very beautiful and comfortable!
Careful maybe, to the Masai village visit proposed during the safari; we accepted it and it was interesting to meet the people living here undoubtedly, but it seemed a bit "orchestrated" and let us a feeling of "give me your money" instead of real cultural exchange. Better be good at negotiation for this or prices will soar ;)
In a global manner, this safari was as we wanted it, simple, honest, and with a very nice place for the evenings ... Thanks to Chris and Ruben!
