A Very special Small Reserve with scarce Mountain Zebra's, in a fitting Mountainous Habitat!
This used to be a very small Reserve , which a lot of Tourists passed by , to go to better known Reserves, but since lots of expansion took place , became a really good destination , not just a stop over for a night , but at least for two or three nights.
The chalets are placed so that you have a view of the valley with browsing animals, nearby, Eland came close to our porch , while I was making the " braai" barbecue fire .
Camp sites are well kept , and with well tended Ablutions .
Weather is always good in April , and you could enjoy the magic scenery , of Far away Mountains , Grasslands and animals , on the High lying plateau.
The road network is well kept , even for saloon cars, and photography can easily be done from the window, as getting out of the vehicle , is not allowed , except in demarcated stopping areas .
Recently Research has begun on Cheetah's , and a walk with a guide with radio collar marked Cheetah , is a special opportunity.
Lions and Cape Buffalo has also been introduced , and although not a Big 5 Reserve, it has special treats otherwise.
Birding was very good , from Raptors, to Ground Birds, " Korhaans" Bustards , and Larks and Pipits.
In the camps a mixture of Bush Birds can be found, Wheatears, Flycatchers , Starlings and Robins. They are all habituated to movements , so are easily approachable and Photographable.
We did not need a guide , but the Reception helped with all the directions we needed.
And the Shop had the ample supplies we wanted to buy.
All in all , a very Good Restful Reserve to Shake off the Rush of modern Living!
Impressive!
The falls were incredibly impressive. Quite a sight! We enjoyed the wildlife both on safari and on the boat ride beneath the falls - though I was told that there were a lot fewer animals to see than in other visits by people who'd been more than once. It may be luck-of-the-draw because I had a friend visit the week before I did and saw 11 lions close up right after a kill and we only saw a few lions far away with binoculars. The nature of nature! :-)

Discover Africa organized a perfect Botswana safari for us
It took one e-mail to Discover Africa (very friendly and competent staff), one phone call for details and one phone call for minor modifications and in the end we had a perfect holiday experience - a magical Botswana safari as they titled it.
The self-driving tour (4x4 camper) included Kalahari, the pans, Okavango, Victoria falls, Tuli block. In detail we have been at some fantastic spots we would have missed without their recommendations. The pre-organized accommodation (on campgrounds in our camper, in tented camps, in hotels and in luxury safari lodges) turned out as a mixture tailored to us.
Summary: Discover Africa organized a perfect trip for us.

A once in a lifetime experience
I spent a lot of time researching safari options, operators, places and times to visit the myriad of countries available in Africa. I wanted to to strike off the big 5, but also experience some of the things you may not get doing mainstream. When I approached African Legends (I had sent requests to a number of operators) I was pleasantly surprised by the timeliness of the responses, and the fact they tailored a safari for me based on my unique set of requests and circumstances. I was not interested in sharing a vehicle, and given where I was working (South Sudan), I had asked for something a bit more upmarket to allow some R and R. Up front, African Legends delivered on everything, and I was overwhelmed with my experience. I had only one hiccup at the start regarding an airport pick up, but that was a minor and easily sorted. I spent 7 days in Tanazania and thoroughly enjoyed myself. My guide was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. The standard of meals and accommodation was excellent, and there was nothing left to chance throughout. The images I took during my week hang proudly on my wall and it is a constant reminder of that once in a lifetime experience. I would whole heartedly recommend African Legends to anyone looking for a personalised end to end experience. I could not be happier with my time, and if I had the opportunity again, I would actively seek them out to fulfill my travel requests.

Fine park must see!!!
We went in the wet season and there were less big animals, I think it’s better in the dry season because they have to come to the water holes.
Dependable friendly service
An amazing experience with wonderful and friendly service. Can't wait to return!
Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Taha
Lake Manyara is a small park has great dens forest - excellent for elephant viewing and birding. The lake hosts 1000's of flamingoes and storks. There is also a viewing platform that was installed in 2014 that is a great stop to view the flamingos, hippos and other birds.

A great vacation
Three craters in three days-- and each has something different to offer. It was a great way to relax after working in the city for a while, very quiet, peaceful, relaxing-- while also being an invigorating environment to explore.
First day's crater is large, open savannah, where Maasai live and graze cattle. Second day's has a large wooded area to walk down to a huge, lake where flamingoes migrate through during parts of the year. And the third day is the large area for a safari drive to see a huge number of animals in their habitat.
In between, the camping was nice-- the guides/hosts were pleasant, meeting some Maasai from around was interesting, and the food was really excellent (even got a chance to try my hand at making ugali). It was a large-style vacation in just a few days. Highly recommended.
The greatest wildlife show on earth
Serengeti National Park is the crown jewel of all major national parks in Africa. Nowadays you will find many parks, conservation areas and private sanctiaries throughout Africa attempting to lure you to see "Wild Africa". But there is nothing compared to the original Serengeti. Serengeti has been around since the dawn of time and it was a national park hosting the greatest wildebeest migration in Africa long before any other parks in Africa even knew what Safari Tourism was. If you want to experience wild life at its raw natural self in the original form then you must go and see Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
