Trip to Lushoto and Pangani
Joseph and his team did a great job! We drove from Arusha to Lushoto, where we had a wonderful 3 1/2 hours walk through the forests with a beautiful view, especially in the end. We went for dinner in town and stayed there for the night.
The next day we drove to Pangani where we stayed for 2 more nights near the beach. We went snorkeling one day and enjoyed the beautiful beach and the amazing food.
It was a wonderful trip and the team told us a lot about the African culture and about the places we went to see :)!!

Gail at Pembury is fantastic! Our trip far exceeded our expectations!
After researching more than 60 ‘safari’ planning companies, I selected Pembury. Pembury was the most apt to design a trip ‘just the way I wanted it’ and within my budget.
I worked with Gail in planning this ‘trip of a lifetime’ for my family and she far exceeded our expectations. Gail was thorough, knowledgeable, responsive, and flexible. She’s also a great negotiator as she negotiated upgraded rooms in several of our hotels.
Our lodging in Cape Town (Radisson Blu), Sabi Sands (Cheetah Plains), White Plains (Oliver’s), and Victoria Falls (Royal Livingstone) were all 5-star. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. The meals at the establishments were excellent too! The Radisson and Royal Livingstone offered impressive breakfast buffets. All the meals at Cheetah Plains were incredible and even though I’ve only been home for 3 days, I’m still dreaming of their meals and their amazing setting. I bring this up because the first night we were seated at a U-shaped table surrounding a fire overlooking the wildlife in the watering hole. Chef Paul and the entire staff were the finest we’ve ever experienced. We will definitely return to Cheetah Plains and the outdoor showers were great too.
Our tour guides (especially David with Paradise Tours in Cape Town) were on-time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about their areas. The transfers between airports and lodges were excellent too and were always on-time, easy to identify, and helpful. It made our trip easy.
We really enjoyed our Cape Peninsula tour in Cape Town, the Elephant Ride at Victoria Falls (one of my favorite experiences), and our day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana from the Royal Livingstone. If you have the opportunity, do all three as they are certainly must do’s for any traveler.
The highlights of our trip were the animals and the people. We weren’t sure how long it would take to see such wildlife but within minutes, and even within the Cheetah Plains compound, we were seeing the Big 5. At Cheetah Plains, we saw 11 separate lions within a 2-hour period of time plus we saw Elephants, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Leopards, Rhinos, Hippos, Zebras, Monkeys, Cape Buffalo, Hippos and so on. Too many animals to name and thousands by the end of our 12-day adventure! Then the watering hole situated by the swimming pool at Cheetah Plains was a great place to watch wildlife during the day as elephants, monkeys, deer, cape buffalo, warthogs, giraffes, and so on came in for a dip and sometimes a complete mud bath spa treatment! We were so close on safari, you really didn’t even need binoculars as you were only feet away from these majestic animals.
Now in Chobe, you spend the morning on a boat ride viewing hundreds of elephants grazing and swimming, hippos, cape buffalo, crocodiles, birds, etc. which was a great addition to our safari viewing. The afternoon game drive was good too as we saw hundreds more animals but were restricted to staying on the road.
The other highlight was the people of Africa. They were so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and had the largest smiles. They won our hearts over and we will definitely be back.
Pembury’s impeccable service and attention to detail will make us repeat customers. I am a seasoned travel and due to my experience with Pembury, I will always recommend Gail and the entire team as they work magic! Thank you for exceeding our expectations and making this a true 'trip of a lifetime'.

An incredible experience on an expertly arranged itinerary.
As bird and animal lovers (and photographers of such creatures), my wife and I had the trip of a lifetime. The two of us enjoyed every moment of our week-and-a-half journey; and all accommodations and table fare more than met our needs. The highest of accolades must be paid our driver-guide, Paul Tamwenya. His expertise (and extremely good eye) provided us the viewing opportunities we had hoped for. My Nikon and I were quite busy the entire trip. Excellent bird photos, and adding to those were the Chimpanzees and Gorillas - just a fantastic journey on the savannahs and in the jungles of Africa. Loved it.

Review about Hwange National Park by Olaf Korbanek
Hwange NP is very interesting and offers different landscapes. The wildlife was, due to the wheather, reduced (in comparison with Chobe NP e.g.), but we saw, that a lot of animals live there!
The camp site was terrific, near the lake, during the night we heard the hippos walking around, really beautiful!

South Africa, near Kruger, Phinda safari
This is my 5th Africa wildlife safari; better by far than previous 4 safaris. Rooms, service, food, guides, and wildlife experience was outstanding. All local flights and transfers were perfect. Can't see how it could have been better!

A river which fails to meet the sea
The Okabango Delta, called the jewel of Kalahari in Africa, changes the shape of the waterway and plants grow to block it. Hippos living in lakes and swamps here can pass through the blocked waterways or expand their channels.
The swamps in the Okabang Lake grow very well, thanks to the rivers and the nutrients in them. As a natural environment, a large number of animals and birds gather here and breed in a swamp in the middle of a dry terrain. Large animals such as hippos and elephants are easy to see and have various birds.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Katie Tang
I was promised to see ALL THE BIG 5 here, though we missed the leopard, but it was still a super fun and enjoyable place to be.

Great experience in Tanzania with Zanzibar Cholo Tours & Safaris
We, are family of 5 (children's age 18, 17, 15) just returned from a two and half week Tanzania trip and all of us had a great time. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and meeting with the Masaai, we enjoyed a wonderful safari in Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Our safari guide Ali impressed us by his knowlegde about the wild life and led us to beautiful spots. He was very professional and responsive to our needs and interests.
All perfectly organised, professional, helpful and personal.
Thank you, Nassor , Cholo tours and team! We feel lucky we found you on the internet and met you and your team in Moshi!

Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by Katie Tang
I really like the green bushy vibe of this park, its very different to the vibes of Amboseli and Masai Mara.

I travelled alone, but never felt lonely because the agency took such good care of me!
Communication was fine, accommodations too (everywhere I stayed). The safary had great accommodations, animal sightings, food, etc. Everything was on time. I would definetely return!
