In Love With Nature
5/5

Whats with the wide array of animals in the orphanage and the nature trail. The scenery is breath taking and lush. Great place to spend your sunny afternoon, as a couple or a group.

All horse loving riders should experience a trip with the Namibia Horse Safari Company
5/5

Right from the very start of booking this riding safari it was a truly easy and well organized experience. The fun started when we were met at the Airport and continued every minute of the 10 days until we very sadly hugged goodbye to our wonderful horses, said a huge thank you to all the fabulous staff running the operation for an epic riding experience, and then headed home with lovely memories. ! The whole trip was very well coordinated, the horses were fit and willing, the food and drink excellent and plentiful and the scenery second to none. The camp beds were comfy and warm and a tent was provided if you preferred not to sleep under the stars. I would highly recommend this holiday and can honestly say it was the best experience I have ever had on horseback. Going again this year on the Fish River Canyon Ride - can't wait !

Excellent
5/5

Iris & Jordan go out of their way to make sure your safari is a great one. And Philemon was an unbelievable guide. I don't think you could find a better tour operator or guide. I was very well looked after, which was very important for me as I was traveling solo.

Amazing company
5/5

I cannot recommend a better company for traveling around Uganda. From my first email to my transfer to Entebbe airport everything was perfect from recommendations to bookings. The staff is very helpful and has a knowledge of the area. I have used Encounter Safaris for my 3 trips to Uganda in 2014. I came in February, August and December and they all the experiences was perfect. From Kisoro and the gorillas to Kidepo on the extreme north of the country there is no better company to travel around Uganda. Tolbert Guma was my guide and driver most of the times and I cannot recommend a better person.

Great horses, fantastic riding, jaw-droppingly beautiful country and lots of campfire laughter
5/5

This was the Damara ride and was my second horseback safari with NHSC (I've already booked a third because I've been so impressed with the whole set up).
Transfers from the airport at Windhoek to the first night's accomodation at Desert Crossing Lodge were quick and efficient, and the lodge itself is lovely. At dinner you meet your fellow riders and the main guide Andrew Gillies talks horses and matches riders with mounts. Safety is quite rightly stressed but it's done in a sensible way.
The following morning there's a long drive to the first campsite and to meet the horses. You can have a tent but I preferred to sleep under the stars - the cot and swag (duvet and pillow in canvas) are warm and comfortable and I never felt at risk in any way. The horses are fit and fun and extremely well cared for. Their well-being is an absolute priority - not always the case with some riding companies.
The riding on this trip ranged from tracking elephants through the bush at the walk to fast gallops on good ground. It's absolutely not for beginners, the faint-hearted or those who want luxury. Days in the saddle can be long and challenging but are always enjoyable and Andrew regularly passes on his wide knowledge of the land, it's history and wildlife.
The food prepared over a campfire is impressive and the sundowners slip down rather too easily! Because these rides tend to attract similar people who're up for the challenge, friendships can form quickly and generally people get on well.
The final day sees everyone ride to the coast, say goodbye to the horses and overnight in Cape Cross.
Namibia Horse Safari staff are without exception helpful, friendly and fun. There's a high percentage of return guests which probably speaks for itself!

First Safari in South Africa
5/5

All the information we got before this trip, was perfect. Our guide Neil picked us up at our hotel in Johannesburg, and took care of us all the time, from breakfast to late at night. We hade a great time and have a lot of amazing photos!

Better than all my dreams combined!
5/5

From the very first email to Viewpoint Adventures Donna responded quickly and answered every one of my many questions. She listened to my needs and found places that she knew I would love! The trip itself is beyond anything we imagined. The people, the animals, the birds - there are no words to describe it to anyone who has not been. Our guide was beyond WONDERFUL - he made our trip in so many ways and we feel as if we will be friends for life! In addition to the safari we also met people in the Shalom Orphange, in a small town we witnessed Muslims and Christians worshipping side by side. We had at least 3 lunches where we met normal everyday people. I cannot say enough about this company and since it is a very expensive trip it is important to pick a company that first and foremost has your well being in mind. 5 star all the way - we cannot wait to return.

Great, life time experience - words will fall short
5/5

Mr David the tour coordinator (Big Time Safaris) was of real help and was involved right from the planning, coordination and execution of the programme. The tour was a one time in a life experience for our group, we had an excellent guide and driver, never felt insecure. A warm reception at the Airport, comfortable drive, good accommodation for over night stay and to top it all we were guided personally by Mr David to the right place to buy the artifacts which we wanted as souvenirs. Great Trip. Trip to Masaimara was out of the world. Thanks to Big Time Safaris

About: Safarihub
Beyond expectations
5/5

We booked a last minute trip with Safarihub, we really enjoyed ourselves and saw some of the greatest game reserves in the world, no wonder the Ngorongoro crater is called the 8th natural wonder of the world. Overall the trip exceeded all our expectations - thanks for a lovely time.

An outstanding adventure, was unsure what to expect, but it was amazing.
5/5

The whole tour was excellent. The accommodation was varied, as we requested, the guides very professional and the food more than adequate. What we saw in terms of the animals and the scenery while on safari was simply brilliant. The variety and volume of wildlife was beyond expectations, particularly how close we got and how safe we felt. The time of year, September, was excellent as there was limited cover for the animals as it was the end of the dry season. The only thing we would change is to have an extra day at Lake Victoria. The service received from Cuan and his father was excellent, both before and after the tour.
