Safari is not only a journey in space dimension but also in time dimension: you'll se scenes without human influence that are the same from many Centuries.

Kruger Tour
Overall rating
5/5

We did a 3 day kruger safari tour which started and ended in Johannesburg. It was an amazing end to our holiday, and Norman as our guide was brilliant. He was kind, professional, very knowledgable and just a genuinely lovely man. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five on a sunset and full day safari.. plus lots more! The hotel was amazing too. Do not hesitate to book this tour, you won't regret it!! Thanks again Norman and Nhalala travel.

A wilderness dream - MUST DO

The Mara is everything you always dreamed of! You will see so many wild animals: lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, vultures, even rhinos and leopards if you're lucky... Definitely try to time it right to catch the Great Migration, but don't get frustrated if you don't. The place is gorgeous, plus there are a ton of tracks, not just a main one, do you will be alone surrounded by nature most of the time. Check out my blog to get an idea of how it's like and compare it to other parks:

Routes through Africa is easily the best experience you can taste in Africa, starting with excellent lodges and accommodation, which are affordable but doesn't compromise with quality and comfort. Communication with organiser were top class, any problems, querys and general informations were promptly given. This was the second time we used Yvonne's services, which lived and exceeded the first time. Yvonne gives a great customer service with a touch of friendliness. Definitely recommended.

About: Kenya
Beautiful scenery & wildlife

The scenery for safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya seems to be endless and is beautiful. Tourism staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall safari in Kenya is quite pricey though, and in my opinion the experience could be improved to ensure value for money. When compared to other luxury safaris that I have been on in South Africa and other Southern African countries like Botswana, Namibia etc, my luxury safari in Kenya did not have many of the amenities and personalized services that I experienced in other countries. But the Maasai Mara is definitely recommended for a “bucket list” experience.

A lifetime experince

Wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park is good throughout the year, but certain areas are better at specific times. The dry season (from late June to September) offers the best wildlife viewing in general- with the wildebeest migration as its absolute highlight. The timing of the migration varies every year (the best chance of seeing it is during June and July) while the wildebeest calving is from late January to February.
The Serengeti's Southern plains are where the name of the park comes from. Huge endless grass plains stretch from Southern Seronera into the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The area is not as good for game out of the migration season as the central Seronera region, or the Western Corridor, but from December through to April the migration covers the entire area. February is a superb time of year to be here for the calving season when 8,000 wildebeest are born every day for a two week period! The only two permanent lodges here are Ndutu Lodge and Kusini Camp, however, all the mobile camps move down to the area for the whole period. Alex Walker’s Serian is perfect choice for this area, being close enough to the migration and far away from the other mobile camps. For a more migration intense location, Olakira, Nomads Serengeti Safari Camp and Serengeti Under Canvas work very well

communication was very good, all questions were answered promptly. changes to agenda were offered and planned to suit exactly what we wanted when we wanted it.
the safari itself was a breathtaking experience, the staff at each camp were faultless and eager to please. our drivers were amazing with much knowledge and an almost freakish ability to find the animals. well done all.
