Bad Driver makes a tour disaster
we had 3 days safari for Massai Marra. Our driver was an old man that has no eager to stop for any good view, any animal or even enough explanation about any things. He just liked to drive whole day! First day and the last day will be just road driving and the fact is only the middle day is a real SAFARI. The funniest part is that at the end of the trip, he asked tip from all of us, not as a request, but as an order to pay! I dont want to say his name and better this company survey and monitor the drivers and tour guides.

Expert of guide to recommend strongly, our guide Albert is the best.
We chose Ozon Light Tours since April, then we had detailed conversation via email to confirm everything for our Safari. We asked our questions and they provided really detailed answers to us. Their professional stuff let us truly believe Ozon Light Tours is our best option in Tanzania.
We arrived Tanzania Kilimanjaro Airport on June 19th, they picked us up from the airport and drove us to the beautiful hotel in Arusha. Next day on 20th we started our Safari, we went to Tarangeri national park, Serengeti national park, Ngrongro crater all those famous areas. During the Safari, our best guide Albert bring us to so many amazing places, every time he get information from the radio then he react so fast to bring us to those animals area. We saw Big 5 this time was so lucky, especially we saw Rhino in crater, and also when we would like to see lions again he drove us there and really close to the female lion, let us to take some dope pics of lion, we were so surprised.
Albert is the expert and explain everything he knows about animals, also including Tanzania culture and people, we had really great time of Safari.
We had 7 days and 6nights Safari, everyday he drove us to the hotel on time, and recommended best time to departure next morning, then we have effectively day to experience a lot.
Appreciate Ozon Light Tours provide best service and best guide Albert for us. We strongly recommend this company and Albert to all of you guys who would like to experience Safari in Tanzania!!!

The safari provider with the best price-performance ratio
First of all, a big compliment to our tour guide Richard. He drove us through the six days with his calm and confident manner and was able to show us all the animals (including lions, cheetahs, leopards and rhinos). The hotels: Mara Chui Lodge in the Masai Mara was good, the Lake Nakuru hotel was excellent and the Tremisana Lodge hotel in Amboseli was very good. I can only recommend the Big Time Safari, especially as their prices are very reasonable. Well done! Thank you for the great holiday!

A misfortune turned out to be a good fortune!
I had the misfortune of having Bells Palsy during our 8-day Kenya-Tanzania Safari with Shanjoy Tours. Patrick and his Tanzania partner were so concerned that they moved us to Serena Lodge (a 4-star hotel in Tanzania) where a doctor is on call. The doctor attended to me and gave me medication. I stayed in the hotel to rest the next day and then proceeded to Serengeti for the game drive. Because there was a hospital in Karatu where we were billeted the next day, I went to the ER where the doctor ruled out anything serious. Our driver Abu was such an angel driving me to the hospital and the airport. I flew to Nairobi the following day where Patrick personally picked me up to drive me to my hotel. My misfortune turned out to be a good fortune to have our Safari with Shanjoy. Patrick went out of his way to deal with my medical issues as a “person”, not just a transaction with a “customer”. He was hands-on every step of the way and I truly appreciate it. I will always remember the kindness and concern Patrick and his Tanzania partner extended to me in my hour of vulnerability. Unforgettable adventure with Mawe African Ventures
My husband and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Tanzania last April, and our journey was made extraordinary thanks to Mawe African Ventures and our exceptional guide, Raphi.
From the very beginning, Raphael’s professionalism and passion for his country were clear. He meticulously prepared an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests, ensuring that every moment of our trip was memorable.
One of the most remarkable experiences was our visit to the Hadza tribe. We were privileged to not only visit them but also to take part in a hunting excursion, gaining a rare insight into their traditional way of life. Raphael’s deep respect and understanding of the Hadza culture, coupled with his excellent translations and explanations, made this an incredibly enriching experience.
The safaris were nothing short of spectacular. Raphael’s keen eye and extensive knowledge of the wildlife ensured we saw an abundance of animals, including the Big Five. It was amazing to see the tiny cubs with their mothers, a sight that will stay with us forever. Raphael’s ability to spot animals hidden in the tall grass with his naked eyes was truly impressive, adding an element of wonder to every game drive.
An unexpected delight was our lunch experiences at local restaurants, referred to as “hotels” by the locals. These meals gave us a genuine taste of Tanzanian cuisine and culture, far from the typical tourist spots. Eating where the locals dine added an authentic touch to our trip that we will always cherish.
Another highlight was our visit to a very local market. It was fascinating to see the variety of products and the freshness of the produce. Shopping alongside the locals and experiencing the vibrant market atmosphere provided a unique glimpse into daily life in Tanzania.
Throughout our entire journey, Raphael made us feel safe and well-cared for. His attention to detail and dedication to our comfort and enjoyment were unparalleled. What started as a client-guide relationship quickly turned into a genuine friendship. We came to Tanzania as guests and left as friend with Raphi and Veronica his wife.
If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, I cannot recommend Mawe African Ventures and Raphael enough. This was my third time going on safari with Charles and it was as always absolutely amazing. Charles is a very professional, kind and caring guy. He knows everything about the parks and his love and passionate about the animals made every single safari with him very unique. I highly appreciate that he respects when an animal is stressed and needs a bit of space instead of continuing chasing it like many tour operators do. I will definitely go on another safari with him
