Book with Kajie to guarantee a great time in Uganda!
5/5

From the planning stage to the day we were dropped at the airport, Ronald from Kajie Safaris was so helpful. We booked a slightly customized Chimp, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi Mountain Gorilla 6-day tour in Uganda. Ronald was so helpful in working out the details, helping us make sure we were welcomed warmly to our initial hotel and drove us to Kigali to fly onto our next destination. We trusted his expertise in choosing great camps (don't miss Bweza Gorilla Lodge) and organizing the logistics of the various tour services and everything went so smoothly. If you are looking to do a Safari in Uganda, I highly recommend Kajie. I also would encourage people to not miss the chimps, as we enjoyed them as much if not more than the gorillas!

Well I can definitely say that the tour operator is experienced & professional
5/5

All in all it was an amazing experience, however the office owner needs to chill a bit with his sense of humour or at least that's how he would describe it. Good thing that you spend the time/tour with the operator and not him.

5 star safari experience with superb tour guide and drivers
5/5

It definitely meet our high expectations, from the planning, logistic, timely communication, game drive, route, lounge accommodation, to our 5 star drivers, Joe and John, these two gentlemen gave us absolutely amazing care, supporting, knowledge, most of all, warm heart services. Without their day in and day out help, our trip would not be perfect!

When you book your next trip, please make sure you ask Joe as your driver in Kenya and John in Tanzania!

A huge thanks to the entire Right Choice Team!

Totally Recommended, Extremely Trustworthy!!!
5/5

If you want to go on a safari to Tanzania or Kenya or both, look no further, Tanzania Roadside Expeditions is for you. I've booked a trip with them, for my wife and myself. Everything was as planned and discussed, and we had the time of our lives.

1). The accommodations were chosen with the help of Zephania which was our point of contact, and they were lovely.

2). Money wise you transfer a small percentage of the fee to a bank account and the rest of them are cash on arrival (they are 100% trustworthy and there is nothing to worry about!!!)

3). Guides/Drivers are total pros.

I want to give special thanks to our Tanzanian driver Ezekiel Maasai, he went far and beyond to make this trip for us unforgettable and to help us create long lasting memories. Thank you, my friend!

If you book with Roadside ask for Ezekiel Maasai and you won’t regret it!

Had to cancel my trip, they were very understanding
5/5

I had planned to go on safari this September but due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn’t able to go. They gave me a full refund and were very understanding of the situation. I will definitely book with them again in the future. I recommend them if you’re looking for great service, good communication and even solo traveling. Thanks again!

Amazing trip!
5/5

I contacted more than 10 travel agencies before I came to Tanzania and AAA was the most patient one and replied the fastest. My trip was well planned and the price was also reasonable.

Kilimanjaro trip: amazing experience! The guides were super nice and helpful! I am not good at hiking and I almost gave up on the summit day, but the guide kept encouraging me and I made it to the top at the end!

Safari: 4 days in the national park and everything was perfect! The guide was very nice and professional. I chose mid-range hotels and all three hotels were very comfortable and beautiful!

I will contact AAA again if I travel to Tanzania in the future.
中国的朋友们,这家真的很不错,价格便宜,老板人很好,可以来!

Awesome humans! Great 9 day multi-country safari
5/5

2 people (couple) from California, USA did a 9 day safari Kenya & Tanzania. Abongo was the very best helping us plan and manage every step of the way! We booked nearly a year ahead for mid-August travel. Was scary sending $ to a stranger overseas but felt confident & he answered all questions timely and crafted our dream safari! Super communicative throughout. Abongo & our guides spoke excellent English and understood us well. Everyone we met from Silver Spark spoke like 3-4 languages! Glad we got to meet Abongo in Nairobi & again at the border crossing. Very friendly & knowledgeable guy. He really helped make our border crossing quick & easy. Our safari was amazing! John (Jenga) our driver in Kenya was awesome. Toyota van was perfect & comfy. John was knowledgeable, patient, kind, helpful, patient, and funny. Very happy guy. Vehicle breakdowns on East Africa roads are common so John asked us if it was ok to rescue people a few times. You may have a private safari but expect the possibly helping others transport people or gear. The guides look out for each other cuz you never know when you’ll need help. The roads destroy ALL vehicles. In Kenya, we had a vehicle issue but luckily got fixed quickly & stayed on schedule. The roads out to and in the national parks are bad! But our driver made us feel confident. Then, Babu, our driver in Tanzania was the best!! Land cruisers only in Tanzania. It was cool to experience both types of vehicles. We were sad to leave Jenga but Babu was amazing as well! Felt sad to leave our friends at the end.
If you come up with a dream itinerary, ask Abongo for an ETA between places because the journey btwn parks is long and roads are sketchy & rough. Wish I had known to ask this info. I assumed roads would be bad but way underestimated. The time btwn parks is good for editing photos and napping, however :) It would be good to advise guests of approximate travel times. We chose mid-range accommodations with a mix of camp and lodges. All the places we stayed at were pleasant, some were excellent! We learned that Abongo w/Silver Spark does all the comms and planning in Kenya and they partner with Nyangulo Safaris in Tanzania where Soombe does all the planning. We met Soombe upon arrival & departure. Together, Abongo and Soombe make a great team and worked things out for us to have an amazing 9 days!! Thank you both. Things to know for ANY safari if this is your first: there is no “luxury” driving safari bc these roads are rough & destroy ALL cars ALL safari companies. We had car issues in both countries and saw countless cars broke down on the side of the road. You’ll need to be patient at park entries & in case of vehicle issues. Now we understand why safaris aren’t cheap. Vehicle maintenance in East Africa is a beast! The roads are dusty & bumpy! Don’t expect cold beverages on 9-12 hour road trips but you’ll get used to warm drinking water & Coca Cola. Also, if you end your trip with Zanzibar, be sure to arrive at the airport 2 hours before. We almost missed our flight, but again, Soombe helped with negotiating & begging on our behalf. Tip your guides well; they work HARD and make the journey great. We tipped more than the minimum and were generous to wait staff at lodges too. Silver Spark & Nyangulo are the best!!! We cannot say enough good things about these guys. Thank you, team!!! Asanti sana 🫶🏽 five stars? Hakuna Matata

The greatest adventure ever...
5/5

dear friends,

every since i was a little girl and read a book about Africa, it has been my dream to visit this fascinating continent, to discover and explore its people, and its wild and untamed nature.
when my girls became old enough to keep the precious memories we would make for their lifetime, we decided that now was the time to go and make dreams come true.
while researching, i received many offers. however one of them stood out: Mr Edward Makundi (i will call him Eddie from now) from Plex Africa not only shared an offer that was hard to resist, but he reached out to me personally. from the very beginning, i could feel his personal interest in our story, and his commitment to do everything he can to make every aspect of our dreams come true.
we felt so well taken care of. i had some special request, e.g. i wanted to experience different types of safari, and how it felt to sleep in a tent in midst of the wild. Eddie accommodated all our wishes.
ultimately, understanding that i was giving all i could - for my Baby girls - he went out of his way to make the realization of our dreams affordable even to me, as a single mom. i will be forever grateful to him.

what we experienced in Africa and what surprised and impressed us so much was how people connect with each other to make things happen, for us, whom they have never met before. people still live as and from the community, and we were immediately and so warmly welcomed to this community. we felt nothing but upendo... love all along.
so a friend of Eddies connected with a friend who connected with a friend who slept outside our resort on the first day of our safari trip, just to pick us up on time, at 5 a.m. and bring us to Zanzibar airport. i only realized that when one of the maasai guarding the resort got him out of the bushes.
from there, we were always taken care by lovely people who didn't know us. but we got to love them so much.
everything from the flight with a small chartered machine to the entire safari program was so well organized, smooth, and an adventure as only fairy tales could tell.

arrived in Nyerere National Park, we were welcomed by our lovely Lucy Ludamilla, whom we immediately adopted in our hearts, and who has since been my oldest Baby girl, and of course Ellie, the most gifted story teller of times.
we spent the most incredible day together, driving through the national park, listening to the stories of lion prides, zebras, giraffes and elephants, and crocodiles, as we encountered them in their natural habitat.
we reclined under an old tree and shared a hearty lunch prepared with love, by someone who didn't even know us, which we shared with the little birds and animals. sitting there, in the midst of the wild savanna, having been imparted the honor to be a guest in this vast kingdom of animals, surrounded by the sounds nature, gave us such an incredible feeling of peace, and made us aware what a gift it is to be alive, and to be able to share this moment, and tell this story.
on the following days, we went for a bush walk, then visited a local village, and in the evening, we went on a boat safari. we concluded the day dancing into the sunset.
the tented lodge we stayed welcomed us with immense love and fed us delicious food every time they saw us.
the tent itself was unlike anything i had ever experienced in my life. simple but luxurious, and the feeling of falling asleep in the midst of the bush and waking up in the bush was simply magic.

very impressive was our visit to the maasai boma on our last day. they included us in some of their day-to-day activities, like making fire, and dancing with them was another dream of mine come true.
my girl Lucy accompanied us all along the way, and not only took such good care of us, but also captured the countless incredible moments we lived. thanks to her, one of the drivers went looking for elephants for us on the second day, as the girls had so much wished to see them in their natural habitat. it was heartwarming to observe the elephants as they passed by us on the road, taking care of each other as a family.
when our safari was over after 3 days, and it was time for us to return to the beach in Zanzibar, the girls were so heavy hearted.
even greater was our joy when Eddie, who had organized our adventure from the time we were still at home in Vienna, made the long and tiresome trip to visit us in our resort in Zanzibar the following week.
we were so delighted to meet him in person, and excited to tell him how much we loved and appreciated all that he, Lucy, Ellie and his entire team and the tented lodge staff had done to make this Safari an unforgettable experience, exceeding all our dreams, hopes, and expectations.
even the day we left the island and had a layover in Dar Es Salaam, Lucy and Eddie waited several hours at the airport to welcome us and take us to our hotel for the night. with pride, my little daughter wore the Plex Africa T-Shirt Eddie had gifted her when he visited us in Zanzibar. nothing would make her happier than be part of this wonderful family.

seeing them once more was the last highlight of our amazing trip to this beautiful, vibrant, breathtaking continent called Africa.

to anyone dreaming of a true adventure in the wild - i can wholeheartedly advise: chose Plex Africa, and you will be in the best hands. they make sure to make all your dreams come true, and then some.

asanteni wapendwa wangu. kumbatio kubwa. hadi titakapotana tena. tunawapenda.

with all our love.

absolute satisfaction, our guide was communicative, funny and we felt good
5/5

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Expedition Rwindi Voyage and it was truly an unforgettable adventure. From start to finish, the team at Expedition Rwindi Voyage went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the trip was well-planned and executed.

The guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, providing us with valuable insights into the local culture and wildlife. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious and plentiful.

One of the highlights of the trip was encountering the majestic wildlife in their natural habitats. From seeing gorillas up close to witnessing breathtaking sunsets over the savannah, every moment was truly magical.

I highly recommend Expedition Rwindi Voyage to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible journey that I will never forget.

Amazing Safari Adventure by Patrick from Shanjoy Tours and Safaris. One of a kind experience.
5/5

From the time we were picked up at Nairobi airport to the time we were dropped off back 10 days later, and all the game drives in between in Kenya & Tanzania, every aspect of the safari was amazing. Thanks to Patrick who gave us the opportunity to witness the best of wildlife in their natural habitat. We saw elephants, lions, rhinos and buffalos at close range and also a glimpse of the elusive leopard eating it's kill in a tree. We also saw cheetahs and herds of wilder beast and zebras among numerous other animal species. Patrick's knowledge of the wildlife and his commitment to respect the right of way for the animals and ensure that we, visitors keep our distance, was evident during our entire safari. Our accommodations and meals were also beyond expectations. Thank you again Patrick for an amazing safari adventure.
