3 Day Selous Game Reserve Safari
5/5

We booked a 3-DaySelous Safari with Kanuth and we had a wonderfull time.
From organizing everything according to our wishes in advance (pick up from hotel, flight from Game Reserve to Zanzibar etc.) to the Safari itself everything was really good.
Our guide Tony was a really nice guy with good knowledge of the wildlife. If we had any wishes he always tried to make it happen.

The Hippo Camp was beautifully located and the cook Joseph was great.

We can only recommend booking a Safari with Kanuth Adventures.

Victoria Falls: Review
5/5

The service that I got from one your officers, was very good as I was given all the information that I requested.
The stay at the hotel was fabulous based on the service, accommodation and food.
The package was value for money, as I will use Falcon for my future vacations.

Excellent service!
5/5

My friend and I successfully conquer the top of Kilimanjaro followed by safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Excellent organisation of Altezza and manager Valeria, who made sure out itinerary was well organised and met all of our needs. She was quick to respond to our queries before the trip and ensure we were well taken care of every step of the way. The guides were very experienced and knowledgeable and made us feel very warm and welcome.
We have no complaints and would highly suggest this company to everyone planning a trip to Tanzania National parks.
It was the amazing and unforgettable experience!!!

A well organised and efficient company with a focus on a quality experience for their customers
5/5

My wife and I have visited South Africa and several African countries each year for the past 3 years. Altezza have organised some complex trips for us, Flights, accommodation, meet and greets and transfers, every step of each trip has gone like clockwork. The team of Altezza are friendly and extremely easy to deal with any kind of services here, in Tanzania. They keep you informed all along the way whilst developing your personalised itinerary. I feel extremely confident when dealing with Altezza and recommend them MOST highly. Moreover, i should notice that it's a single company with russian and ukrainian native speakers that have fluent english.

Excellent service and very polite team
5/5

My safari with Altezza was the best trip I've ever taken in my life, and I've traveled a lot. Dima and his team helped us every step of the way. We changed our itinerary multiple times and the team made that very easy for us to do, allowing us to customize the trip to our liking.
Our safaris were amazing. We saw everything we wanted to see and the guide allowed us to stay and watch certain groups of animals for however short or long of a time period we wanted. They made the long journey fun and taught us about the land, animals and language.
Our accommodations far exceeded my expectations. We stayed in lodges that made us feel like we were part of the culture, rather than busy hotels.
I always felt safe and taken care of there.
I would not hesitate to take another trip with Altezza. See you in future!

Quick responses, excellent service and experienced guide
5/5

From the first moment we contacted Altezza we were happy with the quick and personal responses from one of their manager Lex. He answered all our questions, and suggested a program that suited our wishes very well. Lex was very flexible in adjusting the programm when we asked for that. We planned a 7 days trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara and Norton. Benedict, our driver and guide, was very experienced in the wild life. He has excellent knowledge of the animals, their names and background information, and about Tanzania as a whole. We saw so many animals without rushing from one place to the other. Most of the time we stayed in good lodges. For us a wonderful way to experience Tanzania was a closer to nature and chip facilities to be near with wild life of Tanzania. The 4 wheel drive was very comfortable and spacious. Benedict and Altezza team gave us an experience that was better than we expected!

Perfect honeymoon in Tanzania!
5/5

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Africa and chose Tanzania because we wanted to see the big 5 and also have a beach holiday.

I have travelled to many countries but never to the African continent so after talking to travel agents here, lots of research online and emailing different tour companies in Tanzania we decided to make our booking directly with Benson Safaris Tanzania because we found they offered great value for money and they really listened to what we wanted to see and experience from our honeymoon and made some great suggestions. We also found that many of the tour companies in Tanzania took a long time to reply to our emails and didn’t answer our questions properly and some didn’t respond at all. We dealt directly with Benson, the owner of Benson Safaris Tanzania and he was always quick to reply to emails and answered all of our questions (and there were a lot!) in great detail.

We went on a 7 day safari to Tarangire, Lake Natron, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Last year we had read an article about Lake Natron and it was a “must see” destination and when we were initially looking at joining an overland safari company none had Lake Natron on their itineraries. One email to Benson and he worked a 2 night stay into our trip. It is definitely worth the long drive and extra money because it is amazing! He also included a visit to a Maasai village which was a real eye opener – very dusty but the people were so welcoming and danced and sang songs for us. On the last day of our safari we spent half a day in Lake Manyara and then drove to a village where we had lunch with a local family. They didn’t speak English so luckily our Guide Francis was there to translate and tell us what we were eating. It was good fun and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed in tented camps which was a fantastic experience. It was very romantic and even better than we expected. The sounds of the animals at night is something l will never forget and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us and the food was delicious. It is amazing what a chef can prepare in a bush kitchen.

After our safari we had 2 days in Arusha because we wanted to go on a City Tour. Benson personally escorted us and took us to a museum called “Cultural Heritage”. We spent a few hours looking at all the paintings and wood carvings before having lunch at a restaurant called Shanga Riverhouse. We were greeted with champagne in the garden before eating a four-course lunch which was delicious. Shanga Riverhouse is part of the Shanga Shangaa project which employs disabled people and is the only place where glass-blowing is done in Tanzania and I bought some lovely wine glasses from the gift shop.

The next day we flew to Zanzibar where we spent a week relaxing. We had a few days in Stone Town and spent the rest of the time at Nungwi on the northern part of the island. This was also booked through Benson Safaris Tanzania and the accommodation was fantastic. In Stone Town we stayed at Tembo Hotel which is located right on the beach and a few minutes’ walk to the Old Fort. In Nungwi we stayed at Langi Langi which was small and intimate and had the whitest sand I have seen. Benson also booked our day tours and we went on a walking tour of Stone Town, a dhow cruise at sunset, Jozani Forest and had lunch at a spice plantation tour. Everything was organised perfectly and so easy. He also booked our flights from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar and back again.

When we were in the process of booking our honeymoon we asked for advice on international flights. While they don’t book international flights there is an Australian lady in the office (I can’t remember her name) who worked as a travel agent for 6 years and with her guidance we booked our flights online through Expedia. She gave us lots of suggestions and answered all our questions on the best and fastest way to get to Tanzania from our home in Sydney.

Our honeymoon exceeded our expectations and we could not recommend Benson Safaris Tanzania enough. The whole team from Benson, to the lady in the office, to our Guide was professional and gave us a honeymoon experience we will never forget!

11 Days Luxury Adventure Tour of Tanzania
5/5

In my internet research, which I based on specific Tanzanian destinations, Safari Infinity routinely surfaced as a top choice. When I read hundreds of reviews that were current and consistently high, I believed I found the right place.
We went ahead and checked all of the upgrades when booking lodging … and did Safari Infinity ever deliver. While I was confident the Four Seasons would be great … they were ALL outstanding accommodations.

The quality of our guide Kelly just blew us away. Kelly was as much a Tanzanian goodwill ambassador as professional guide. Kelly was both an excellent listener and speaker. The depth of his understanding and ability to community insights of animals, flora, and Tanzanian culture was terrific.

We had a great guide and we were blessed with a great couple of weeks! Observing a sleeping leopard at 5’ … and then more leopards close-up, prides of lions brushing against our truck, and watching exciting animal hunts, including an unsuccessful (for the lioness) open field pursuit of a wildebeest and her calf, and multiple cheetah hunts – some where the antelope lived another day, others which were a good day for the cheetah. Watching hippos flip a fully grown crocodile in the air (“not so smart croc” – Kelly) that got too close to their babies was simply remarkable. We could go on and on about the wonders we saw: from a Black Rhino running in the crater to baboon “sex parties” (rabbits have absolutely nothing on these creatures), young zebra males fighting each other, to the tight formation a herd of elephants takes to protect an hours old calf. There was just so much to see, not just animals, but animals in their true, natural habitat.

I can’t tell you what our expectations were, but they were vastly exceeded.

Our Land Cruiser diesel was unstoppable! Another “we love Safari Infinity:” our safari truck would be covered inside and out with Serengeti dust … we’d tell Kelly not to worry about cleaning it. My hat’s off to Kelly as a fine, conscientious driver, whom I thought was very good on his equipment (i.e., didn’t pound it into the ground) – not a small consideration when you’re hundreds of miles from a support vehicle.

We did not have single “off” day: every day was special, every day we were so very happy to be with our good friends, and our wonderful guide Kelly. We arrived a day early and ultimately stayed an extra half day on the backend, yet Lucia, Simon, and Kelly made us feel like we were visiting longtime friends. I absolutely, whole-heartedly, recommend Safari Infinity. Asante sana!

A fine adventure at a reasonable rate.
4/5

the "budget" group safari that i joined through seven wonders easily met expectations. travel in kenya (nairobi to amboseli park) was arranged by michael of ancient wild safaris in nairobi; he provided a driver and cook who were courteous and knowledgeable. the trip into tanzania and the serengeti also included helpful guide and cook and was deftly organized by evelyn of seven wonders in arusha. as advertised, we camped at private and public sites. accommodations were rough-hewn but adequate, and attendants did the heavy lifting by preparing wholesome meals and comfortable sleeping arrangements. the wildlife was bodaciously abundant and the trackers knew where to find it. the safari was an edifying and memorable experience. however, because of some unpleasantness regarding gratuities for attendants, i recommend that safari organizers provide clear guidelines to clients and employees regarding these voluntary remunerations to avoid misunderstandings.

Really interesting, not only nature+animals, they also brought us together with local people.
5/5

Our tour to Sipi falls was well prepared and arranged, transfer without any problems, accommodation in a small hostel with great view to the falls. Traditional equipment without any luxury, but everything clean and tidy. Typical Ugandan food, homemade, open minded and friendly people. Pure romantic in the evening, when thousands of stars came up. For the next day Chumvi Tours had prepared a trip to several falls and to Sipi Fall, very pleasant walk, our guide explained a lot of things about plants and birds, we had enough time to take fotos of leguans, and then a visit to a coffee plantation. There we talked to local people, who showed us, how they work wth the coffee. In the end, we had together a cup of fresh coffee. We enjoyed our trip very much. Thank you Chumvi Tours!
