Tarangire NP
My daughter and I didn't want to do a long safari. We wanted to do two or three days in Northern Tanzania. A friend recommended Dahlia Tours. We communicated with Aron and Brian by email before arriving in Tanzania. Aron provided us with a lot of information on short safaris. A lifetime dream of mine was to see Baobob trees. We decided on Tarangire. We had a marvelous time. Our guide Bryce was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Our second day was spent at Mt. Kilimanjaro's NP. We spent the day with our guide Paschal wading at the bottom of waterfalls, participating in roasting and grinding coffee beans which we brewed and enjoyed. We are looking forward to our next trip to Tanzania. The guys at Dahlia Tours took very good care of us like we were family.

Visits to Huangi National Park, Chobe and Vic Falls
We have visited many places throughout the world - Africa Zim Travels are everything you would want. Comments are consistently outstanding because quite simply they go out of their way to make things work. Blessing is a star. The whole experience was special from the moment we met Blessing at the Airport. From Meals, Safari Game Drives, to River Cruises. This endorsement comes with total confidence that you will not need to search for any other tour operator. Africa Zim Tours and Blessing thank you for making our visit to your country so special.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Stefan van Schaik
If you want to see some big predator cats or other big game, you realy have to go to the Serengeti. It has a higly amount of lions and there are alot of cheeta's. For seeing a leopard you need a little bit of luck and a good guide.
It also has an increasing amount of elephants and giraffes.
But other than some big and amazing animals it also has a real divers sceanery. Sometimes its realy amazing to see how the landscape is changing. From real African savanna to a rocky area or a very green and wet place.

An amazing and majestic experience that should be on everyone's bucketlist
Wildlife:
There isn't another place in the world where there are more wild animals per square miles as in this crater. Everywhere you look, you will see animals. What makes it more special is the amount of different animals that are living in this crater. There is a chance to see almost everything exept giraffes (they cant climb down the steep walls), cheeta's and leopards becouse of the territorial lions and huge amount of hyena's. For the lucky ones there is also a chance to see a glimp of the extremely endangered black rhino.
Scenery:
However the crater isn't big, there is a big variety of scenery. At first, when you drive down, you will see a kind of bush against the steep walls. On the floor there are two small forrests (good spots for elephant and birds), some small lakes and a river (good chance to see hippo's and grey crowned cranes), a salty lake full of minerals and of course the savanna.
Transportation:
The only way to visit this crater is by small jeeps. They are realy comforteble and have open roofs so you realy can see in any direction.
The roads are sandy and bumpy but thats the beauty of Africa.
Guide:
Our guide was a realy friendly person who had alot of knowledge of the African wildlife. They also know the greatest spots for observing animals. Just ask what you want to see and they will drive towards it.
Higlights:
1: There are two picknickspots in this game reserve where you have permission to leave the car. One is in a small forrest and another at one of the most beautiful lakes in Tanzania where you can observe some hippo's from a realy close but safely distance. There are also some special birds at picknickspot 2 like: great white pelican, african spooners and lesser flamingo.
2: If you are lucky then there is a chance to see some black maned lions or black rhino's at the savanna.
3: Viewpoint when you have left the crater. It's on top of the crater and if the sky is clear, you realy have a good view that's breathtaking.
The Ngorongoro crater has also lots of kind of birds. Especially in the forrests and at the small lakes. It also has the most biggest amount of grey crowned cranes that i have ever seen before. Sometimes in groups of 100 and more.
Also see: www.natuurfotografiestefan.jimdo.com for some beautiful images that i have taken in this crater and on my journey trough Kenya and Tanzania.

Review about Tanzania by Stefan van Schaik
Tanzania is a bit more touristic than Kenya, but it also has alot more gamereserves. If you realy want to see the big 5, the best chance is in Tanzania. I only needed 1 day in the Serengeti and 1 day in the Ngorongoro Crater to see all of them.
For birders, its a real paradise. I was lucky to see more then 130 different kind of birds in less then two weeks.

Amazing Experience
We chose African Scenic Safaris on the basis of a recommendation from friends who had previously travelled with them. From the very start, we were most impressed with the efficient and speedy responses from Amanda re our planning and organisation. Grayson was our driver/guide, and he did a fantastic job. The time allocated to each of the national park /conservation areas was fine; we never felt rushed or as if we should have allotted extra time in our itinerary.
Late May, early June was a great time to travel - weather was warm; safari traffic was not busy; accommodations we stayed at were virtually empty; there were so many animals - all to ourselves! And we saw the migration. What an experience.
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending African Scenic Safaris, and guide Grayson. We would use them again on any future travels in Tanzania.

2 Weeks in Kenya and Tanzania!
We just returned from a 2-week trip to Kenya and Tanzania organized by Beatus from Chels Travels! While planning the trip, Beatus was patient and informative. We had limited time and we wanted to make the most of it and Beatus made that possible.
The trip itself was definitely memorable and we had a great time in both countries! In Kenya, we had Tony as our guide and he was absolutely wonderful and I can't recommend him enough! We had multiple guides in Tanzania and Beatus to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. Beatus was an excellent guide---he was really informative about the animals, the various sites, and the local culture! We did have some minor issues in Tanzania but, as soon as we spoke to Beatus, he did his best to address them right away and made sure we were happy.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and the quality of service and attention that we received from Beatus was more than what we expected and it was greatly appreciated!

Wild adventure close up and exciting from animals to tribal hunting with a quality guide and cook.
From the very beginning the communication from Bright African Safari was first class, every questioned answered within a day, and changes made upon request. The actual holiday was more than I ever thought it could be. We had such a personal guide that looked after our every need, and he soon became a friend. We had an amazing time seeing loads of different animals. The shear numbers of animals were astonishing and it was magical seeing our guide spot animals from vast distances. His knowledge of all the different species meant that we also learnt interesting facts about the animals. We were lucky to see the big five, but our favourite images were a heard of 20 giraffes running across the plain and the wilder beast congregating at the river Maya. The cook managed to keep my two teenage sons well fed - which is quite an achievement, and they especially loved the home made soup. We travelled to four different national parks, with each one having a different outlook and landscapes. The final destination Tides Lodge recommended by Bright African Safari was perfect ending to a perfect life changing trip. Luxury rooms, paradise beaches with excellent food and service. Thanks to Bright African Safari my family felt as though we had a real taste of Tanzanian life.

We got what we expected and a great deal more with Regional Tours, Maturaf and Emanuel.
The planning of our safari was thorough and gave us, as first timers, a safari as complete as I can imagine. Our driver/guide, Emanuel, was knowledgeable and had a real awareness of the animals we were hoping to see. He seemed to understand quickly that we wanted to really watch the animals in their home setting and not to just tick the sightings off a list. Emanuel's gentle guidance made our experience positive in all ways. We very much appreciate the fact that the three of us who went together were not joined by strangers. Apparently, some operators fill the vehicle to maximize the use of the car rather than focus on the individuals involved. We are grateful to have had the luxury of fewer people sharing the car, the driver/guide and the experience. Our accommodations were comfortable in all cases and luxurious in some. We can highly recommend Regional Tours with the caution that initial communication may be slow. Once we were on the ground in Africa, the communication was efficient and very much up to our level of comfort. Thanks to Maturaf and Emanuel, we will safari again. I would note that we especially liked the lodges and tent camps that had accommodations for our guide on the premises. Please note, Emanuel washed the car thoroughly virtually every day. His attention was very much appreciated.

Great experience in Tanzania with Makasa Safaris
We, a family of 5 (children's age 18, 17, 15) just returned from a two and half week Tanzania trip and all of us had a great time. After climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and meeting with the Masaai, we enjoyed a wonderful safari in Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Our safari guide Ali impressed us by his knowlegde about the wild life and led us to beautiful spots. He was very professional and responsive to our needs and interests.
All perfectly organised, professional, helpful and personal.
Thank you, Selma, Ngomi and team! We feel lucky we found you on the internet and met you and your team in Moshi!
