Perfect organised safari in a wunderful Country
5/5

We booked a two weeks privat tour in Ugande with matoke. Because we have already made many Safaris in Africa, we had exact images like ours travel through Uganda should be. The communication and tips from Matoke while planning the holiday was great. Most of our wishes could be made by them. Special thanks to Anna Grodzki for good service, quick answers and always be there if we had another question.
Our driver/guide was Mussa. He was able to maneuver his Jeep trough the 'massage' roads and the wildlife in order to get us the best spots. He knows exactly the behavior of each animal, he gave us a very professional explanation and many information about live in Uganda. And ,not least, we had a lot of fun with him. Many thanks to Mussa, he did a great job! The accommodations we selected were all very good. The best of all Gorilla Safari Lodge at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Only in the hotel Birds Nest at Lake Bunyonyi we have something to complain about. Here we lost our booked room and got a bad room (smale sized without a balkony) because a big group was expected. So this hotel is not recommended for individual travelers. But Matoke also tried to solve this problem so that we could change the second day in a very nice room.
All in all we can recommend Matoke as a tour Operator.

The best safari experience!
5/5

We decided to go to Tanzania for a safari as part of our honeymoon. A friend who lives in Tanzania and has used East Africa, recommended the company to us. From the first emails we exchanged with Lewison we decided to book with East Africa. We had looked around on the Web for different companies but they were either too expensive or we didn't like the itinerary they were proposing. Lewison came back with a very nice package, easy to do in the limited number of days we had but good so that we can have the best experience. And very very affordable!!! The safari itself was just amazing! Our driver was fantastic, he didn't rush us at all, would stop at the numerous requests of my husband in order to take photos and knew where to take us to see really good Game. And with the excellent food that our cook was preparing for us every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) we enjoyed every single moment. Lewison went further than what he had to do, as on our departure day, our Air line changed our flights and we had to fly from an airport twice the distance from where we were originally supposed to fly from and he drove us all the way early in the morning. We really appreciate it.
Thank you East Africa for helping in making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!!!!!

Kaingo and. Mwamba are pure magic!
5/5

My husband and I just returned home from a fabulous trip to Mwamba and Kaingo. The camps are different, but both are wonderful. Matt and Charlie are warm and gracious hosts. Sly is an incredible guide, very knowledgable. The food at Mwamba was delicious, prepared by Medi and his crew. Mwamba is a true bush camp experience, and the game is plentiful.
Kaingo is fabulous. Izzy and Yvonne weave their magic, and Skye and his staff prepare delicious meals...very fresh and tasty. You do not go hungry at either camp. Patrick, our guide, is phenomenal. He knows so much about the African flora and fauna, and presents it with a great personality.
We have been at both camps many times, and the draw that these camps have are their remoteness from the main gate. Sometimes you feel as if you have the whole South Luangwa Park to yourself, which is heaven. The animals are spectacular and we saw plenty.
We met a lot of wonderful people at both camps, and my husband and I both said it was our best visit ever, of course we said that after each trip!
If you want a true African safari adventure look no further than Mwamba and Kaingo. Derek Shenton has produced two gems of safari camps. The staff at each camp are wonderful and very professional.
A few tears were shed on our part when we left. It was a very excellent adventure.

Exellent experience
5/5

I had a Safari nearly two weeks ago with MamaSavana in the park of Tsavo Est (Kenya). I enjoyed so much the experience, I found very competent and kind people (both the driver and the guide), the organization was excellent and the lodge so comfortable.
I hope to visit Amboseli park as soon as possible with MamaSavana! :)

Amazing Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park trip
5/5

I went to the Masai Mara and Amboseli National Park with Suburbs Adventures in 2013. Both trips i booked at Suburbs Adventures. It was AMAZING!!! We had two really experienced guides and we saw all the big five - except of the rhino. The driver were really fun, once we saw an aggressive pregnant elephant and the reaction of the driver was really quick so that we could escape of the situation. We had enough time to take pictures and observe the animals as long as we wanted. Both camps were really comfortable, we had our own small huts and bonfire in the evenings. Suburbs Adventures organized everything perfectly and gave us a very good price. I would book it again and again!

Fantastic experience with the big five and many others animals with a very skilled guide
4/5

The written program was respected : courtesy, correctness, punctuallity, price convenient. The accomodation at Rhino camp was confortable and the food was good. Only a disappointment for the dirty villagg of the Masai : many cans and bottles of plastic abandoned near their huts! Unfortunately we didn't see many pink flamingos because august was not the correct period, but we saw many monkeys and a sleeping rhino.

Good times with Suburbs as always!
5/5

My first trip with African Suburbs Adventures & Travel was in December 2011 to Mombasa. Their price- performance ratio was very convincing and in the friendly environment everyone had fun. From then on I also booked a trip to Maasai Mara with my parents. The whole trip was well organized with a comfort accomodation, delicate food and the most important with unforgettable impressions in the game park. The tour guides have been always friendly, discreet and cooperative. Cause of our good experiences with Suburbs Adventures I recommended them to my sisters and they had a fantastic time in Masai Mara as well.
I´m just back from my third trip to Kenya and I always ask Suburbs Adventures for the airport transfers, cause they are on time and reliable.

Hike Kili, few safaris and Zanibar
5/5

I am incredibly happy I booked with Tanzania Expeditions.

The trip I wanted to be very custom. I had 8 people coming with me from different areas around the world and was ready to have the best experience. I wanted to hike Kili, do some safaris and then jump to Zanzibar for some scuba.

Since we were all coming from different locations, we planned a day safari at Arusha National Park for the first day of arrival before hiking Kili. This was a safari plus a walking safari with an armed ranger in the park. After this we drove around the Big/Small Momela Lake. This was quite the introduction to what we were going to learn about what goes on in a safari. The hiking part was supposed to be about 1.5 hours, we took 3. We had see and learn and a park ranger to show us around. Our safari driver patiently waited while we took the extra time, but he also kept tabs on us and made sure we didn’t just disappear. It was a great way to spend the first day getting acclimated. The next safaris came after Kili. We had a 4 day lodge/camping mix. I figured after hiking 7 days up Kili, we would appreciate a bed one of these safari nights. This is that ‘custom’ part again that Justin was able to work with. The safari drivers took us from Arusha to Tarangire, Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater. We saw all kinds of animals. They would politely shut off the cars while we took pictures. For me this helped with less vibrations for long distance pictures. The drivers would also stop for us to buy beer, pee and hop out of the car to climb trees for more pictures. They catered to us for on the spot requests, as well as made sure we were safe. They also kept in touch with the radio to hear where the animal spottings were and brought us to see the best! I think the only thing we really couldn’t get the best glimpse at was the rhino. He knew where the rhino was, he pointed it out and knew at what time the rhino would be waking up and standing up. It was just too far away for us. It really impressive how well they know those roads. The safari was great!

Justin was able to help with specific requests, the Kili hike and Zanzibar after, with a time crunch and and made everything work out perfectly. Whether you’re looking to hike, safari or enjoy the beaches, he knowledgeable about everything. He really has a great staff working for him. My friends and I still talk about our epic trip and how it couldn’t have been done without the help of Tanzania Expeditions.
