Good safari
4/5

Bruno safaris was quick to reply to email. They made a good itinerary (also for a good price). The lodges were really nice. Our driver was Lennart, he was a good driver and guide, with a lot of knowledge on the different animals and birds. Unfortunately we had some rain, causing the animals to disappear a bit. We did not see as many as in Tanzania. But Amboselli and especially Tsavo West have really nice scenery.

Great holiday getaway.
4/5

I have been living in Uganda for the past 9 months and I always wanted to tour around the country but I had not got the opportunity due to my busy schedule. When my two weeks holiday was approaching, I had to plan so well how to enjoy them. I had several options including visiting my family members back home but the thought of touring around the country overpowered me. I had enough time to plan my tour. I met Ronald of gorilla tour booking safaris personally and he gave me options which were dependent on my budget. Finally, I decided to go for a 5-day gorilla trekking safaris. All I can say is I had a great holiday. The holiday enabled to see the country as a local. Uganda is a marvel-It is a hidden gem that anybody needs to discover. The locals are so passionate and loving. After my trip, I went back to Kampala in my residential area of Muyenga and I felt as though I travelled to a different country for my holiday. What a great and memorable experience! Even though I plan to visit my family in my next vacation, I still think I shall invite them over for trip around Uganda and I can’t wait for that time. My last appreciations goes to gorilla tour booking safaris, they endeavored to ensure that my trip was well planned.

Jocky Tours - Very Good Value Budget Tour
4/5

After a lot of search for Budget Tours to Masai Mara, I chose Jocky Tours .I chose their 3 day Masai Mara Tour. I chose them because they were the cheapest tours available. I kept my expectations low. On Day one, We were picked up from a residence in Nairobi around 8am and was driven in a Toyota Van. The Van driver / Guide was an amazing driver. The roads in Masai Mara are a bit treacherous as they get very muddy during rain. Van is not a four wheel drive and one has to be an expert in driving in those conditions. We got to Masai Mara around 4pm and was immediately taken around for an evening game drive. Next day it was a full day game drive. On day three we left for early morning game drive and then headed back to Nairobi.
The Van: There was lot of mud in the seat. The tour company should clean up the van very well before picking up the guests.
The Camp accommodation: We stayed in a tent. It was clean, It had comfortable beds , mosquito nets. Electricity is available only for 4 hours between 6pm and 10pm and for about 3 hours in the morning. In night it is pitch dark. One should carry lights. The water in the camp is horrible. We were forced to skip shower for couple of days. Buy big can of drinking water from outside.

The Guide: The guide hardly spoke about the geography, the animals etc. However he showed all sorts of animals including a leopard which is hard to spot. All the drivers have radio and many tour operators share the information about animals with each other. The guy was very brave. He parked the van very close to cheetahs, lions as if he was parking them close to a dog. We infect took a selfie with a lion.

Food: Food was okay.
