Tourico Vacations "Loves South Africa"
Planning a South African vacation is a great idea not only for you, but your entire family. The country has so many things to offer everyone. You can plan a romantic holiday with your partner in the beautiful Cape Town or Johannesburg, or let your hair down comfortably in the sun-soaked beaches while keeping your children occupied with the numerous amusement park and nature reserve tours. Whatever the occasion, South Africa definitely has its own unique platter for everybody. Just take a look.
Talking about the vivacious heritages of the country, South Africa offers a number of world heritage sites for its visitors. Starting with the Cradle of Humankind, it is a collection of several hominid fossil sites scattered in Taung, Sterkfontein, Kromdraai and Swartkrans. More particularly, the Taung Heritage Site is of special importance for archaeologists who consider it to be the most significant source of the missing link between man and the apes. Situated in the northern coastal region of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park is home to a wide variety of waterbird species. The park also includes mountains, forests, wetlands, mangroves and dune vegetation.
Now coming down to the city life, Johannesburg is one of the most popular destinations among tourists. The city is commonly known as the city of gold due to its gold mines. Clad in cultural extravagance, the city of Johannesburg is a great location for fun and festivities. That is not all, your air tickets to South Africa destinations certainly will offer lots of holiday ideas for a memorable travel experience in the country. If you like shopping, just head to the Sandton city, where you will find Africa’s best shopping malls. Next to Sandton is the Randburg Waterfront, where you will find a collection of restaurants, fast food outlets and a flea market. So shopping now meets an interesting opportunity to experience the exquisite delicacies of the country!
lots of zebras and thick brush
We stayed at the UWA bandas which were quaint and clean enough. we visited this park to see zebras since we hadn't seen them yet and we weren't disappointed. there is some new invasive plant that is taking over and making through brush so thick you can barely see wildlife from the road.

Amazing People and Amazing Sights
Mamaland Safaris is run by an amazing group of people. Tony was so friendly and really made the trip fun. Not only was he knowledgable about all the wildlife and everything around Uganda but he was personable as well! My group and I were able to see amazing wildlife and experience an amazing culture. Hopefully I'll be going back to Uganda in a year or so and I am excited to see Tony and the others again! Truly great people!

Most unique park I've visited in all of East Africa.
The oil camps popping up were sad to see, so I hope they don't expand in the park anymore. This park was stunning, with the rolling hills, and acacia trees and palm trees. We booked through EcoExpeditions Uganda and our guide really knew what was going on. We stayed at Fort Murchison just outside of the park, but it was close enough that we were able to get to the park early. The food there (4 course meals) was great, but the mosquitoes were bad. Overall, my favorite park in Uganda.
Very nice journey ; kind and interesting guide;
All was perfect : good Guests houses with confort and clean bedrooms, visits country, parks and villages with many explains by the guide about story of South Africa, Wild animals in Park, Wild wonderfull flowers, big old trees ; very good contact with everybody.
I remember a wonderfull travel, and I'll turn back with Biwakwango.

Amazing experience with the chimps, with an easier trek than Bwindi!
This area of Uganda was one of our favorites as it was much greener than other parks. The tea plantations were stunning. We stayed at the Kibale Forest Camp just outside the park and it was our favorite accommodation of the entire trip. The staff was super helpful and attentive, and we loved staying in the forest and hearing the sounds of the jungle in the morning. The trek to find the chimps was a very easy one on flat terrain and the actual experience with the chimps was fantastic. My one complaint was the large number of people who go see the chimps at the same time. They split you into several groups of about 7-8 and each group takes a separate path into the forest. We all ended up trekking the same large group however, and I was surrounded by more tourists than chimps. Other than that, I can't recommend this highly enough.
