not worth it. not good value for money
Sunway Safaris is highly disappointing. saying that, we did see majority of the animals, and the main tour guy was great.
disclosure: below is our opinion only, and we communicated it to the company and they promised to address these for the next tours. offcourse, it doesnt help us.
- lunches were predominantly can food. for 1500 Euro per person, one can provide better food.
- the vehicle is too small for 12 people. we were only 9 with an extra guide (3 guides) and it was cramped. one can use bigger vehicles, particularly for these large distances.
- perhaps the most annoying thing is the mus-information. game drive in Krueger, was literally only drive from point A to point B on our route. we didnt really have the game, off the sealed roads as one promised. we just moved up to Zimbabwe, and whatever we saw - that was the game. the game drive in Chobe, was offered to us for 400 Bula, but when we went to reception, suddenly the price went to 320. Finally, there was no option for night safari. we were promised it in Khama Rhyno and Krueger (itinerary based) but we didnt actually have the option when we were there.
In 2 of the camps there was no hot water - although promised (great Zimbabwe and i forgot the 2nd one)

Our guide Tony, was very flexible and educated us throughout the entire trip. We had a great time!
Tony always listened to what we wanted to do and suggested different things along the entire trip. He was very knowledgeable about many topics from wildlife,birding to history and politics. we thoroughly enjoyed his company and laughed together throughout the trip. He was always considerate of our needs and was constantly attentive to us! it seemed like everywhere we went ,everybody knew and respected Tony and we kidded him by suggesting he should be the Minister of Tourism!We highly recommend Mamaland Safaris!!!

Wonderful trip
I was with Gametrucker in Turkana Lake for a cultural festival there. We spent 7 days travelling in Northern Kenya by a truck and sleeping in tend. The travel went very well, the agency team is professional and friendly. All passeggers were extremely interessing people and we enjoyed time together helping the team in daily activities preparation such as tend camp setup, as a family. We discovered amazing lands in remote area of the country and we have always the security standards in place. Definitely the most serious travel agency i have esperienced in east africa.

Fantastic!
Jackie was great, she answered all my questions quickly and efficiently. She is kind and she will do her best to make your adventure one to remember. I went on a 8 day tour, trekking for Gorilla's, game safari, trekked for Chimpanzee's. The treks were hard for me but the end result makes it all worth it! The accommodations we chose were budget but honestly they were amazing. The service was great, everyone made sure we had everthing we needed and more. Our guide Richard was the best! He went above and beyond for us. We told him we loved avacado, he stops along the road and gets a bag of them for us. He made sure I had the best adventure trekking for gorilla's. He made sure I had a porter and that the guide kept and eye out for me, and Sara did, I will never forget this adventure. Thanks Katona for making my first trip to Uganda an memorable one. I will defiantly be back.

Good guys and always willing to please the customer
The staff was very nice from the first mail. They were to the airport to pick us up and took us to the hotel (that kindly they had changed according to our preferences). Our driver was very good, wise and experienced. Trained as a guide he knew perfectly all the habits of wild animals and he never was tired of anwering our crazy questions. Always punctual and fulfilling the itinerary.
For accommodation, we felt like princes, we were very well treated, with attention to detail, so we could fully enjoy the experience. Good food throughout the safari, including lunchs that were impossible to eat whole. We had no complaints at all. We found all the wild animals we wanted to see and some that we could not imagine we would see because they are quite shy. Luck or skill of our guide? We think he was always in the right place at the right time.
The last day we were taken to the airport and said goodbye to us, showing great interest in hearing our suggestions to improve the service. Which says a lot in its favor.

The best safari experience
This was my third safari holiday to Africa, but the first time to Tanzania. Being an expensive destination I had to carefully choose the right operator in terms of value for money and an overall quality of experience. After a lot of research and an initial call to Karsten of Safarihub I decided to go with them. Karsten was very patient in planning my itinerary to fit within my budget as I wanted very specific accommodation indifferent areas of the parks, particularly the Serengeti where I wanted to witness the annual migration. In the end all the planning paid off and I really enjoyed the Safari and the migration was phenomenal, I must say a Tanzania Safari is very different compared to the rest of Africa. I have now recommended my friends to book with Safarihub for their vacation next year. Thank you Karsten and the team.

Fantastic service!
From chatting to William by email arranging our safari, to the time we got dropped off by Fred at the airport, we had the best time. Fred worked tirelessly to get us to see the animals, his expert knowledge and obvious friendliness with the other drivers meant we got to see more than we ever thought possible. Fred was friendly, joked and laughed with us, pointed out things we hadn't seen and told us about the animal, he drove professionally and always looked out for our comfort. A safari with bramwel is a truly unforgettable experience and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Fantastic company, not too big they forget their clients in the hype. Thank you to William and Fred for a fantastic 7 days.
