Perfect South Africa Trip!
5/5

We booked a 15 night trip to Cape Town and the Garden Route with Africa Collection and had the most amazing time! Our trip was planned to perfection - flights, chauffeur from the airport, car hire from day two onwards, accommodation and fights home - everything went like clockwork. We would highly recommend Africa Collection.

Best Kili trek
5/5

We had a fantastic 6 day (5 night) trek via the Marangu route with Afrishare. The guides, Tino and Kija were absolutely fantastic. They went a perfect pace up for us and let us lead the pace down. They always looked out for us and helped us successfully make it to the peak. We couldn't have asked for better guides, cook or porters. The only feedback we had was that we rented equipment (sleeping bags, rain pants and winter jackets) and the rain pants were completely ripped by the end and the sleeping bags weren't the best quality for the cold weather. If at all possible (and Ibrahim recommends this) bring your own gear or double check all rental items. Other than that we would recommended Afrishare if you want a successful Kili climb and have guides that really care! Furthermore the value of service for the cost is hard to beat. Ibrahim the owner always communicated back and answered all questions, great guy. We all met prior to accepting the offer, went over all trek details, what was included and any gear that was missing. We were glad to have the gear rentals for the summit day. Ibrahim also advised on any tipping guidelines before setting off, instead of the guides pestering us with it. We saw many guides do this, not ours. Perfect management, great team, no surprises. Anyone looking for a budget trek without sacrificing quality - go with Afrishare.

Valentine Gumpo - Wild South Safaris
1/5

Never, ever use Valentine Gumpo as a guide or any of his companies, he took our money, never met us and left us completely stranded In Zimbabwe. We originally booked with him in October 2013 and his reviews appeared fine - 2 months before our trip we noticed a couple of negative reviews about him on tho site. I e-mailed him and he assured us everything was okay and this was simply a man with a grudge about him. When we arrived in Vic Falks he was no-where to be seen - he sent a lady who said histruck was being repaired and he would meet us on the way to Robins Camp in Hwange - the car transporting us continually broke down on the way and we arrived at Dete near Maon Camp and got handed over to another safari providers truck and got taken to main camp. He had sub-contracted part of our trip without notifying us. Hw also hamper not paid for most of our trip in Hwange - denied having received any money and told this company to charge us. We also were supposed to stay at Hwange Safari Lodge (again pre-paid) and again none of this was booked or paid for. He completely ruined our trip. He is a total con-man and still owes us a lot of money as we had to pay for a lot of meals, drives and accomodation in Zimbabwe. Never travel or trust this man and if you have already booked with him, I would advise you to make alternative plans as he will not fulfill your booking. We are currently I the process of pursuing him through the Hogh Commission and The Zimbabwe Toursir Authority.

Great personalized service - value for money
5/5

Great trip. Well organizes with no hidden costs along the way . Our guide (William) was fantastic ! His knowledge on birds, fauna and flora was astounding. Nothing too much trouble for he, or the owner of the business (Sylvester). From our pick up at Nairobi airport to our day trips organized prior to our start of the Safari to our sad farewell- it was all smooth sailing - felt safe at all times. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Еxcellent travel with Jocky Tours and Safaris
5/5

Traveled group of 10 people (from Russia). Began preparation for travel in March. The Jocky Tours and Safaris company very quickly responded to our inquiry. Madam Minneh friendly, quickly and competently answered all our requests and specifications. The options of a safari and further travel offered us, allowed us to use the budget which is available for us rationally. We were accompanied by friendly and attentive drivers from the Jocky Tours and Safaris company. Everything that was necessary for us for travel, including additional excursions, was made qualitatively and for the real price. Therefore we could realize all our dreams on travel across Kenya. We thank the Jocky Tours and Safaris company.
We recommend the Jocky Tours and Safaris company to all who wants to go to a safari at very affordable price.

Efficient , responded quickly and were very friendly.
5/5

Booking the reservation was very efficient and when we arrived in Africa I found I really didn't need to worry about making arrangements and changes from a distance. Our guide , Joseph Lubega, was with us from the start . I will not hesitate to recommend him to friends going to Africa with AA Safaris . His knowledge of animals , birds , people, history and language was more than we could have hoped for . Anticipating our needs, making sure we were comfortable ,had our favorite fruit and helping us with banking and postal services made our trip so effortless. Even recovering a camera battery that was left miles behind. Keeping us on a schedule was no easy task! But he did it calmly and with kindness. We asked him to stop at the rhino sanctuary and he reorganized the safari around this to make sure we didn't miss anything. The sanctuary was one of the highlights for me and I will be forever thankful to him for that .I always felt we were safe while travelling with him.
Our husbands weren't able to join us and , during our phone calls ,we were honestly able to assure them we were safe and in good hands.
Please add my name to your web site as a happy customer that will answer questions to those considering travel with AA Safaris.

Thank you all for my trip of a lifetime.

Trip of a Lifetime, a must!
5/5

The Tanzania Serengeti company was recommended to us from another couple that traveled with them a few years back. We are so glad we went with Iris and Jordan. First of all, they are extremely accommodating and are willing to make sure that you have the best trip possible. My Fiancé and I were briefed about our Safari after our first night in Arusha from "Blaze" our local correspondent while in Tanzania. He checked in with us throughout our trip. We were then off on Safari and visited 3 parks. Arusha, Tarangire, (my favorite), Ngorongoro Crater and the famous Serengeti. We did an 8 night safari with 2 nights in Arusha, 2 in Tarangire, and 4 in the Northern and Central Serengeti. Our safari guide Phileman was with us the entire time and he knew exactly when and where to stop so we could view the Big 5! Ask for Phileman!! The tent camps are very comfortable and the food was excellent. The country is extremely high spirited and we left feeling rather humbled being so fortunate to live in the states.

You must see Zanzibar and stay at the Matemwe Lodge for at least 3 nights following safari. This is truly a relaxing treat at the end of a dusty adventure. Do not be alarmed when your driving for hrs on a bumpy road that looks like its leading to nowhere; beyond every dusty road is something worth waiting to see. Most lodges do not pave their roads so don't judge a lodge by the road leading towards it. Also, go with any recommendations from Iris or Jordan, they have great ideas.

Have patience, be open minded, and you'll truly enjoy what Tanzania, Africa has to offer. This country will change your life.

warning - this company stole my money
1/5

After researching which safari to do in Tanzania that suited my time frame and budget I choose David and Goliath tours and safaris. David Michael Bungama (owner) was very helpful and quick to get back to me with my questions. Once we had agreed on my itinerary his said the deposit of 5% (all other companies charge 30-50%) could be paid to him via an international money transfer. (This is common for payment of safaris). I did my transfer of the deposit and five days later he confirmed that he saw it in his bank. I asked for a receipt for my deposit, this is when things changed. I asked a few times over the next week, with no response from David. When he finally did respond it would be one excuse after another why he hasn't sent it. Finally after about 2 weeks he sent me an email saying his manager had hacked his email account and was stealing all the customers money. He said he sacked him once finding out. He then said not to worry about any more payment until arrival where I could pay in cash. I said I wasn't happy carrying thousands of US dollars on me. Then he suggested do a transfer of the remaining 95% amount, two weeks before the start of the safari. In the meantime I had asked a few more times for a receipt for my deposit, with no answers. I felt very suspicious about this company now and the way they operate. After he said his manager had stolen customers money. I asked for a full refund of my deposit, as I no longer trust that they are a legitimate company (when he failed to provide a business registration certificate) and I have no faith in sending more money to them. This is where David stopped responding to me altogether. I have emailed him a number of times, but no response.
I think David and his company are thieves. Please don't send your money to him.
