Great day at lion park kzn
5/5

Thank you so much for the fun filled family day we had at the lion park. Great picnic and ice cold beers. Rowly was very knowledgeable about the wild life. I was also impressed about his knowledge of birds. Once again thank you Rowly. Great family day and money well spent. Moxey Family

Amazing experience for super value! :)
5/5

My partner and I did a 7 day safari with KWSS. It was amazing! Our guide, Stephen, was super knowledgeable, funny, and professional. We saw the "Big 5" and went to 3 different locations. We found that diversifying, going to 3 different locations in 7 days was great...but the roads can be quite rough (and that's an understatement). We ate delicious food the whole time either cooked by our cook Sam or provided by local restaurants. Overall, the safari was incredible. It's beyond words to be within feet of lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, ostrich, zebras...the list goes on and on. We certainly recommend KWSS; a very trustworthy and budget safari company.

We enjoyed so much with our gentole guide!!
5/5

We went to 3 days safari ( Tarangire N.P. / Ngorongoro C.A. / Lake Manyara N.P. ). Our guide explained in detail in English or Swahili language. ( I can understand Swahili as i live in Tanzania as a volunteer. But his English was perfect.) We are satisfied with this safari with Kilimanjaro Vikings so much. Our guide always took care of us, and dealed with our requests that we wanted to see any animals. We thought our guide was so professional as he didn't even count the tip we gave in front of us. We felt so comfortable about it.

We went to 3 days safari (Ngorongoro and Serengeti ) and 1 day Masai village with Kilimanjaro Vikings after clibming Mt.Kilimanjaro.
The director Charlie arranged all process politely for us. So we had just fun at ease.
If you want to enjoy safari with Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend kilimanjaro vikings the most !!

what more could you ask for?!
5/5

What can I say?....if you're reading this in contemplation of going away with Sunway...all I can say is stop contemplating, and book!!

I did the Rainbow Route with 9 others plus our guides Wayne and Mosses
The organisation is fantastic- Wayne and Mosses are true masters in co-ordinating our tour, taking us to stunning places, providing outstanding food, knowing so so much about the wildlife/areas/people we saw (quite incredible)....and being such vibrant characters- they were duly held on a pedalstal by the end of the trip :)

The accommodation was brilliant- very characterful places, often boutique-style. The vast majority was great for cleanliness and facilities, but please remember the places are c. 3 star, some slightly more basic....if you want 5star, this isn't the tour for you.

If you want to embrace adventure, where there are no guarantees (to coin a phrase from the guides!) ...you'll love this trip!

Great price, Great Safari!
5/5

We booked a last minute (about 1 day prior to departure) Safari with Kenya Walking Survivors Safari and it was fantastic! They were super fast to respond to our emails, they arranged transportation for us, our tour guide was very knowledgeable (he didn't laugh at any of our silly questions) and our cook was amazing. The price was very reasonable, better than anything else we saw online but it was perfect! Highly recommended.

Christmas in Uganda with Matoke
5/5

One of the most wonderful trips of my life made seamless with Matoke. My husband and I did a 9-day 'mid-range' tour with gorilla and chimpanzee tracking. All of the accommodations were lovely, with the highlight being the Lake Matunda Lodge - a truly magical place (though, I have so many great memories from the entire trip - beautiful lodges, close encounters with hippos and elephants, meeting incredible people). Our guide and driver was very friendly and was happy to expound upon any of our inquiries (but, generally quiet otherwise). He had over a decade of experience with national parks and tourism, and freely shared his life experience and wisdom as well. I spent 2 months in Africa and never felt 'at risk' (save for a rhino incident in Zim) - and my time in Uganda was no exception. It is liberating to have a driver who knows the roads (some of which cannot be traversed without a professional!!), food options, local culture etc. so one can freely enjoy everything without worry. Admittedly I had a moment of panic after wiring Matoke a large chunk of money, but it's legit :) Also, I have done a few other tours before, and occasionally they aren't quite honest about what you get (drive time, experiences)...but Matoke was 100%. Lastly, Uganda is doing a really great job with conservation and protection of the mountain gorillas within its borders...this is absolutely the place to experience an encounter with a silver back (and babies!), and with confidence the rangers prioritize the welfare of the animals. Other asides - being a vegetarian is not a problem, and if you get car sick...bring a remedy. I absolutely love Uganda and cannot wait to return!!

1 Day Gorilla Tour from Kabale Town - Unbelievable!!
4/5

None of us believed that we could successfully take a one day gorilla trip to Bwindi forest Park until we landed on this package on Jungle Safaris Uganda website. We were a group of 6 people with major interest to see gorillas in Uganda through this company. We were on tight budget and chose to take a bus from Kampala to Kabale town (8 hour drive). At Kabale we stayed at Bunyonyi Overland Resort, we were picked by a representative from Jungle Safaris Uganda at 0600hrs. We drove to Bwindi National Park where we tracked Bitukura family, it was such amazing experience! A tour to the gorillas in Uganda is expensive, but we spent little money on this tour, we saved on transport and accommodation by not using private means from Kampala to Kabale. We bought gorilla permits in advance at US dollars 600 each through this company. We had a great trip on our low budget!
