Great safari with Spot Kenya Safaris
5/5

I want to thanks Mr. Maurice Mwanzia and special our driver Harun for the beautiful time we past together. The drives in Tsavo West and in Amboseli were good planned, we saw a lot of animals and our driver surprised us by naming all birds (75 different) we saw! The lodges were just great and very good located. We will come back and hope that we can once again count on the excellent services of SKS!

Wonderfull journey
5/5

my partner and I did a safari tour from Kenya to Mombassa and visited several parks such as: masai mara, tsavo, lake nakuru. The accomodations where great also and very clean. We can say that we had a journey wich we will always remember. We planned everything in advance. We live in The Netherlands and arranged everything with Robert by mail. Robert is very very helpfull and informed us about the several trips that we could do. The guide wich was provided by ' Go Kenya Tours & Safaris' Richard was very polite and knew a lot about the animals and is a good spotter. My dream wasn't a dream any more but came true!

Vacay took care of all the planning and booking. The communication and response time was really good. I also like how they called on the date of arrival to make sure everything was OK with the booking. Thanx Vacay :-).

The best trip of my life
5/5

I'm taking the time to write a review for Zazu tours because it was simply the most magical experience I have ever undergone and I think the quality of the service and the organization at Zazu tours needs to be recognized. They took care of the safari trip from A to Z and all we had to do was to admire the beauty of the landscape, spot animals through our binocular and soak it all in... And that's exactly what you want to be doing on a safari trip. These guys (the guides) knew there business, they knew exactly when and where to take us to see the most incredible animals, trees and landscape which made our experience absolutely amazing. I will never forget those sunrises in the Serengetti. Without the shadow of a doubt, riding in the safari truck with the Serengetti breeze blowing in my face and an exhiliarating of excitement in my gut at the possibility of spotting a cheetah or a rhino at any time is my single most treasured memory. The fact that the guides were friendly, knowledgable and the trip was well organized was just a bliss on top of that. No regrets whatsoever for having choosing Zazu tour for this once in a lifetime experience!

We are a couple from Spain and the last year we made a safari with Mamaland Safaris. All the travel was amazing! The guide, Tony, was incredible in birding! The places for sleep were confortable, and all the people from the company was very friendly.

Great experience
4/5

I appreciated my trip with world tours and safaris . Great food, Nice staff. The only downside was the guide. He was more a driver than a guide. Overall, I liked my experience and it was possible I would have given them 4 stars and a half. The owner, mr.papa was really nice and even paid for my dinner afternthe safari. Their prices are very good.

Understated excellence at every level.
5/5

I had the amazing good fortune to be included on the first SAN Parks Honorary Rangers Photographic Safari in Klaserie, and hosted by Moriti Safaris Camp George is the ultimate private bush retreat with complete privacy in understated luxury. The waterhole about 50m from the perimeter fence was the centerpiece for a continual ebb and flow of visitors from herds of zebra and elephant to warthogs and everything in-between. The plunge pool nestled under a large tree in the garden is the perfect oasis to cool down in the afternoon siesta.

Shaun is an incredible guide. His passion for the wild and intricate knowledge of flora and fauna are as endemic as his friendly and patient demeanor. His ability to track not only an animal from spoors in the sand but to unravel an entire story of group interaction makes finding game a fun and productive exercise. Photographing the wild could not have been better facilitated.

The overall experience superseded my expectations several times over. I cannot wait for the next one.

Visit to South Africa October 2014 - Wonderful Trip
3/5

We enjoyed our trip immensely. But we made clear that we didn't know the areas we were going to and I think our travel agent could have helped us out a bit.

ILIOS is the group that was used for our guide and transfers. They were all knowledgeable, punctual, thoughtful and professional.

Cape Town was beautiful. The hotel was very nice, big rooms and what a VIEW! Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit every morning just got our taste buds popping. But as much as we enjoyed the hotel since there was not restaurant or bar at the hotel, I think for us, 2 women traveling alone, we would have enjoyed a place closer to restaurants. Maybe on the coast by the V&A wharf, not sure how much those places cost but would be something if I go back I would look into. We were there 3 days but personally, I think Cape Town could easily have been done in 2 days.

I can't say enough about the Safari and Lion Sand's River Lodge. Staff unbelievable, the rooms were huge, food amazing and again what a view, giraffe outside our deck on the first day! We saw all the Big 5. We had early wakeup call off by 6 am each day, we stopped in the morning for a coffee break. Each place our guide picked for a break had a great view, sometimes at the river and others in open plain One morning we had surprise full breakfast by the river! After breakfast we would go out again until about 11 am. We could relax have lunch, watch the wildlife off our deck which was right by a river. The afternoon around 4 we would go back out again, we loved the tracking and off roading. We would stop about 7 pm for a happy hour, Gin and Tonics, wonderful snacks and to watch the sun set. Back later that night for a lovely dinner. I must give a big shout out to Eddie, our tracker, and Landon, our guide, they went above and beyond for us during our stay. Our we absolutely had all our needs and expectations met at Lion Sand’s River Lodge.

Then the last 3 days and this is where we felt our travel agent failed us. We went to a very nice hotel because there was problem with us getting a flight out. The hotel was beautiful, there was a restaurant at this hotel but the food was so-so and again this was out in the middle of nowhere. It was too cold to swim and there was nothing for us to do. But luckily we were there only one night.

The next two nights was off to Zambia and Islands of Siankaba, we were so excited about going to Victoria Falls. Our hotel, Islands of Siankaba, was wonderful, we were on an island on the river! So we were ok with the isolation at this location. Staff was so friendly, food great so fresh. Several things to do on the island and in the evening we would go out on the river in a pontoon boat and have drinks, appetizers and watch a group of hippos and the sunset. Thank goodness we had this wonderful place because the Victoria Falls was such a disappointment! We were there in the dry season and there is really NO Victoria Falls on the Zambia, no one told us this. There was the opportunity to go to the Zimbabwe side which seemed to have some falls, an extra excursion we would have gladly paid for if we had known but we didn't know! We were leaving the next day so we couldn’t book it.
So maybe we can't blame our travel agent, maybe we should have done our own research but is that not why you hire a travel agent? Since you have never been in the area and don't know anyone that has been in the area before, is that not why you hire a travel agent? Lesson learned . . .

amazing experience
5/5

On our very first visit to Kenya we experienced an amazing safari. Our driver Anthony was knowledgeable , timely, accomadating and very congenial. We could refer to him as Simba because of all the lions, lionesses and cubs he found. Our accomadations and meals offered were beautifully presented and delicious, everyone was extremely friendly. Thank you and would highly recommend this service to all . We had 2 grandsons with us 12 and 8 in our small family group. It was wonderful!!!
