Review about Makgadikgadi Pans National Park by Inga
While I'm not a birder, it's a great place to see a lot of birds. The harshness of the land there and high salinity of the water mean that not that many animals can live there. Still there are wildebeests around and zebras.

Good wildlife but unfortunately no rhinos. Plenty of birds and nice scenery

Mokoro Trip
I did a 3 days/2 nights self-catered mokoro trip to the delta. It is a completely different experience to other Safari destinations. Do not expect to see as much wildlife as on a game drive or a boat safari, but the bush vibe is fantastic an the hikes on the islands are very nice walking safaris. The delta is also a great destination for bird watching.

More than satisfactory
I've engaged Kenya Budget Holiday for a 9d8n safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania. Communication pre trip was all through e-mails, they are very responsive and helpful! The arrangement in Kenya was good, from airport pick-up to sending us to Tanzania, they have taken good care of us and arranged nice drivers. But for the Tanzania part, our tour was "outsourced" to another agent and due to miscommunication/I don't know why, we were not able to visit one of the parks as stated in the itinerary. Through numerous correspondences, we were given a refund of the entrance fees when we were back to our home country; we are pleased with the arrangement and the operator is truly reliable. If you're looking for some budget options, be sure to look for Kenya Budget Holiday.

Lots to see but too many people
We spent two nights near the park at Chobe Bush Lodge which was excellent. We went on a early morning safari drive and an afternoon boat cruise. Others from our group did an afternoon drive as well.
Even though we saw lots of excellent wildlife including two lions stalking some warthogs, it was way too crowded during both the morning drive and the boat cruise. There were often dozens of safari vehicles/boats around a good animal sighting with some vehicles hogging the best spot for ages and we often had to wait. This was mainly for lions (we didn't see anything else really special). And when it came to the sunset part of the cruise, lots of small boats sat in front of our bigger boats spoiling our view - there was plenty of room for them elsewhere. Our boat moved somewhere else to avoid these boats. These experiences spoilt the park for us. We actually saw much more in Kruger and it was less crowded.
However, friends who did the afternoon safari drive said there weren't so many other groups and they had some excellent sightings including the rare wild dog.

Review about Addo Elephant National Park by Sheila Jefferys
ADDO is a massive National Park with lots of wildlife, in addition to the large number of elephants. We had a wonderful day there - the highlight was seeing a family of elephants with 2 young cubs learning to feed. All at close quarters, fabulous.

Great safari experience - but with technical car problems
It was a great visit to Mikumi where we saw many animals - lions included. Our guide spoke great english and was very informative about the animals and country. We were picked up at the right time and the Swiss hotel for sleep over was also very nice. The only problem was that the jeep had several technical problems. First we had a flat tire twice and then two more technical problems which took a lot of time to fix. We were probably just unlucky - and besides that we would like to recommend the company. If you don't have plans for a big safari but just want the experience this two day trip with Kanuth is very nice.

Review about Samburu National Reserve by Dan McCoy
I liked Samburu but it seemed as though it was a bit on the small side for the number of safari outfitters there- thus when a lion or leopard were spotted there were immediately 10 vehicles chasing after it.
