Holiday of a lifetime
5/5

We all had a truly wonderful holiday in Tanzania. Not only was the wildlife outstanding but also the settings, the accommodation, the landscape, the birdsong, the sunsets - the list is endless.

We found all the Tanzanian staff in the camps very professional and absolutely charming. Our safari drives and boat trips were full of excitement and wonderful sights and we will have lasting memories of our holidays.

We had an amazing time in Akagera National Park
5/5

We had a 1 day safari through Akagera national park with our wonderful guide Reginal.

He was a great guide and helped us to see lots of animals and identify them. We would recommend him and his company wholeheartedly.

The game drive was superb, but the food and lodging was poor.
3/5

Some of the food on this trip was inedible -- namely the goat stew at one of the restaurants we stopped along the way. Otherwise the food was average, but hey, I was here for the safari! Speaking of which, the safari was great. Maasai Mara is beautiful, and our driver James was safe, smart, and friendly. We saw all the highlights, and came back each night happy. The tents were okay, but the water came out brown from our shower. The food at the accomodation was average, and tea was available all day, which we liked.

I had an unforgettable experience with this company in Mother Nature of Tanzania!!!

I went to Ngorongoro CA and Serengeti NP for three days though the director of this company, Charlie, hesitated to receive three-day safari to Serengeti because of tight schedule.
He kindly explained the itinerary to me, and recommended four days instead of three days.
But i had no choice but three days because of my friends' schedule.
He is such a nice director that he suggested anything better.

On my first day, it was too foggy that i couldn't see the crater from Simba Campsite on the rim.
I worried that i couldn't see many animals because of fog.
But it was totally fine in the crater as my guide said ''must be fine down there'' at the campsite.
He was right, and i was impressed by his much experiences.

He answered every question i had, found many kinds of animals, of course explained about animals and nature in Tanzania. He is not only a good and experienced guide but also a good driver.

Plus what made me pleased was food which my chef cooked at the campsite.
I enjoyed every meal!! Especially the bread he baked at the campsite was the best one in my life!!!
I couldn't believe that he baked it there untill he said ''yes'' to my answer.

I really appreciate this company to take me to safari with those perfect guide and chef!!
Everything was good, perfect, great!!

I strongly recommend everyone this company, Kilimanjaro Vikings!!
I'm pretty sure you never regret!!

big five in five days with five-star-James
5/5

...fantastic trip through massai mara, lake nakuru and lake naivasha. Have seen so many with the flexible, experienced and friendly driver James.
And all for just a fair price.

They never sent me detailed info of my trip. I had to claim dinners and sunset safari :(
1/5

The Outlook Safaris made the transfers and there were always on time. We also stayed one night near the airpot. I like the accommodation and the food. The Hippo Hollow hotel was nice also and the Kurt Safari Co was great with good guides.
The only problem was Kruger Park Travel. We had to continually write asking for times of our trip because they never sent us detailed information. We also had to claim dinners, they are already paid and the hotel did not know it. They tried to give us a safari day instead of one morning and one afternoon . And it's not the same! in the heat of the day they are not animals.
We had to argue a lot with Kylie and got to give us a night safari on the last day ... but the information never came, we spend four days asking the guides and the staff if they knew what we had to do that day. I would never hire this agency.

John Cooper's schedule and accomplishment is superlative!!
5/5

Excellence in every segment has characterised our recent journey with John Cooper of African Adventures. For three weeks his introductory tour brought us up close to a fabulous and diverse selection of regions, habitats and accommodation in southern Africa. John's access to some of the prime private concessions within the National Parks ensured that the only crowds were the free running animals. And as two of four Australian guests we made a fabulous and fun loving team with two very special American couples. Looking back, we would not wish to change anything.
John, we salute you!

Unforgettable Safari Experience!
5/5

I spent 5 weeks traveling through 7 African countries, and I can honestly say my favorite experience was my 6 day Botswana safari with Tony Mobile Safaris. I just loved my time with this company. We were a small group, just four people, there to enjoy bush camping, wildlife, and photography. Tony was a great guide - friendly, funny, and very informative. You can tell that he is passionate about African wildlife, which is extremely valuable in a guide. Tony also enjoys photography, which was perfect because he understands the importance of getting out early in the morning and being out for sunset for the good light. Plus, he also understands how to get us the best photographic angles. Even if you're not interested in photography, you will want to be out for sunrise because that is when the lions hunt! And Tony will make that happen. The safari definitely is 'mobile' - you will see so much! In six days we explored Savuti, Chobe, both the Okavango Delta and Okavango River, enjoyed canoeing and boating, saw countless lions, hippos, zebras, elephants, etc. Tony even went above and beyond during our boat tour. Our boat tour was delayed, so not only did Tony work quickly to get us moving, he also gave us a private pre-boat tour while we waited! Furthermore, our campsite was also nicely prepared for us and each time we returned to camp there was an assortment of snacks, coffee and tea waiting for us. They even prepared high tea for us. They also did a wonderful job of preparing vegetarian meals for the two vegetarians in our group. I would highly recommend Tony Mobile Safaris and I would love to safari with them again!

Perfect trip and mix of activities for solo female
5/5

Just as I was booking my Botwswana trip, my traveling partner canceled on me. I didn't want to spend as much money as we were going to spend if I were going alone, so Mark came up with a great trip for me. It was a great combination of types of safaris and geography (Khwai, Inner Delta, Chobe) and the places I stayed I was very happy with, the guides are very knowledgeable and well-trained, the hospitality was ideal, and the food was very good (and there are a lot of things I don't eat which they all catered to). I needed to end in Chobe because I was meeting another friend for Victoria Falls, but if I hadn't needed to take his schedule into account or the zambezi river level, I think it would be best to start with Vic Falls and then Chobe, Inner Delta, Khwai. I like Inner Delta in the middle because you can do walking safaris there and it was good to have that as the middle activity between the game drives you do in Chobe & Khwai. I also would have stayed a 3rd night in the Inner Delta instead of just 2 because the walking safari was my favorite. But considering my schedule needs, what Mark arranged for me was perfect. It was so shocking to get just a few meters away from a lion with nothing but the car door between it and me (no glass and only a very high roof), but then it became normal and later when lions are "only" 10 m away you are like oh those lions are kind of far away. The transfers and flights all worked seamlessly and my whole job was to show up at the right time, which made that part very relaxing and the animals made it exciting.
