Fantastic experience

5/5

We took a 4-day, 3-night safari through SafariWithUS. The itinerary was incredibly well-planned and thorough, and we had a phenomenal time. Over the course of our safari, we saw a variety of animals-- in addition to the elephants, zebras, giraffes and various breed of antelope that are abundant in Kruger National Park, we also saw hippos and crocodiles (from a distance), buffalo, rhinos, a couple of leopards, and even a cheetah. The only major game we didn't see were lions.

Our first day and a half were in the public portion of Kruger, and we stayed the night at the Kruger Adventure Lodge in Hazyview, which was a bit like a summer camp with hotel rooms rather than camp cabins-- very homey and nice. The next day, we were driven after our day game drive into a private game reserve adjacent to the public portion of Kruger, and stayed two nights in the beautiful Kurula lodge. Our host, Kavi, was a fantastic guide who gave us both tremendous insights into the wildlife living in the park and made every game drive a unique and wonderful experience. The staff at Kurula were incredibly kind and helpful as well. We couldn't have asked for more.

The drive back to Johannesburg went through the beautiful Blyde River Canyon, and was a great capstone to a wonderful trip. Couldn't recommend it more!

Awesome experience with an awesome company!
5/5

As part of a broader trip to Tanzania, my companions and I had the opportunity to go on a half-day safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris. In addition to being a world class driver (you want one of those when you're in an unfamiliar place!), Kakasii is also probably the friendliest, kindest person you will ever hope to meet, and a fountain of knowledge. I was amazed by his ability to spot the smallest bird while we were traveling to and once we were inside the park - he could identify it instantly and tell us all about it.

We went to a park that is a bit off the beaten path, since it was en route to our other destination, and we may have been the only vehicle in the park. It truly felt like we were in the wilderness, and not just a tourist destination. It was incredible to be there, surrounded by gorgeous hills and mountains, plants and animals. I was awe struck. I so appreciated Kakasii's patience and expertise as we simply sat and waited for things to happen around us (they did!) or spot something from a distance and somehow get there quickly and without disturbing the animals.

I would definitely do this again, and recommend this to anyone heading to East Africa!

Serengeti Shall Never Die - Completely Justified
Overall rating
5/5

Tanzania name itself has some vibes. Its worth to visit as it gave me a life time experience. I have been to Serengeti national park along with my wife in the month of December, 2019. I stayed over night in Arusha before we head to Serengeti which is 5 to 6 hours travel by road.

Serengeti national park is worth visiting place to experience wild life. Staying in bushes will be life time experience. I got chance to see big 5 five and other animals too. Serengeti has many picnic spots along with hot water facilities and washrooms.

I used Afrozone Kingdom Safaris for my safari trip. Manager Mr. Adam, a polite man who picked me up from Airport and had been in touch with me through out my safari trip. He has got helpful staff to make trip hassle free. I strongly encourage Afrozone Kingdom Safaris to plan your Tanzania trip.

About: Malawi
The warm heart of Africa - a destination full of natural diversity
Overall rating
5/5

I try to visit Malawi once a year for pleasure, I'm a keen wildlife photographer, and for me every trip brings me so much enjoyment, the diversity of wildlife is astounding. My favourite time to go is when the rainy season starts (November / December), which although makes for difficulty traveling along the dirt roads, does bring out wildlife when the short spells of heavy rain stop and the temperature is cooler and more humid. Insects, birds, monkeys, but do watch out for the snakes!! You will need your malaria tablets, particularly in the wilderness and near the lake. Solar panels can be purchased for around 15,000 - 20,000 Malawian Kwacha, and if you take a car socket and car usb lighter charger, and a small portable usb battery - you can manage to charge your phone and camera each day as electricity in the wilderness is often non existant. Phone signal has improved over the years I have been, and you can often get a 3G service, although it can be patchy / unreliable, and will not support Skype / data calls. Local simcards are best bought with help from your guide - bundles work out at around 12,000 Malawian Kwacha for 6GB. The best times to look for wildlife is early in the morning from around 4am as the sun is rising, and before sunset at around 3 - 4pm onwards. The sun rises fast, and the heat does become unbearable quickly - during the day can be very hot and it's best to stay in the shade even with high factor suncream. Embrace the simple way of living, enjoy the local food, and be rewarded with some unusual and absolutely fantastic wildlife!!

4 days Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. We choose this safari experience between many others and we were incredibly lucky. We saw the big 5 and a lot of other animals, most of the times from a close view surrounded by this incredible nature! Our guide was perfect , he had always found the best spots, explained us many things and menaging all the other aspects of the tour.

About: Kenya
Amazing
Overall rating
5/5

Nairobi is nice, well developed. The road to Massai Mara was difficult because of traffic and rain. Massai Mara is amazing, beautiful land escape and perfect to see the cats.
The safari package was good for the price. Good enough accommodation, food and car for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of the rain the lodge tent had mold and I am very allergic, so I advice to bring medicine. Several safari guides from different companies did not respect the park rules to leave the animal quiet and harasses them getting to close or making noise with the car engine to awake them. I hope this behavior from several guides from different companies improves in the future.

Everything was well Coordinated. Tour Guides Kissa and John were great.
Food was simple and very Tasty, lot of variety.
Wildlife is amazing in their Natural Environment, we were able to see BIG 5.

Only thing might be the Transport Vans can be uncomfortable if 6 passengers or more. Sitting all the way back can be very uneasy.
