Absolute Perfection
5/5

This is the 3rd time in 3 years that we have used the services of the The Luxury Safari Company (June 2102 Botswana & Zambia, June 2013 South Africa and October 2014 Kenya) and have been blown away by the precision organisation and efficient service we have received, each and every time. Rose and her team are the absolute experts on everything African. The logistics of a safari holiday are organised seamlessly and even things you didn't know you needed to consider are managed for you. For example, we found out that our luggage was overweight as we tried to check in for our Safari Link flight to the Masai Mara. No problem, our driver said he could store our excess luggage whilst we were away and would bring it with him when he picked us up on the return flight. True to his word, all our luggage was in the car when we arrived back in Nairobi.

Rose and her team have intimate knowledge of each and every property they offer and will be able to determine which one would suit your style. For example, we love rustic and intimate safari camps, so Rose tailors suggested itineraries using our preferred style. If you prefer a more luxurious lodge, she can organise that too, just say the word! She also includes unexpected little extras that do not fail to surprise. On our most recent trip she included a 5pm session at the Sheldrick baby elephant orphanage. What a treat that was!

If you are currently planning your African holiday of a lifetime, do contact The Luxury Safari Company, you will not regret it. We would not consider using anyone else.

Fascinating 3 days
5/5

There are no words to explain or describe our 3 day safari with It Sartedt In Africa Tour organization in Tanzania plains. We have fully satisfied. We have seen every animals we wondered.
The best thing in safari was our tour guide, Asseri. He force yourself too much to show us all animals. He was contacting with his friends in game drive areas and when he got info about an animal in a location he drove us there and stop in a good and nearest position to animals for taking the best picture and view. On evenings, he told us Tanzania culture, life and some funny stories. Sometimes he protected us from bad guys who seem to sell some things on the roads. That made our tour great, safety and funny.
We will definitely be with them on our next visit for Serengeti and Masai Mara in next summer.
Thanks you so much, It Started in Africa !!

I would love to commend your excellent hospitality. Your kindness was second to none. I enjoyed the trip/game drive. Your tour guides were very friendly and smart. I would visit Mara Kenya again. You made my trip worthy. Thank you Venture Africa and keep it up.

great experience
5/5

We had a very good time. The nomad safari includes multiple choice national parks with different vegetation including different animals too see, which is nice for a divers experience. Also the village tour at mto wa mbu and the hadzabe tribe contribute to this experience. I think we saw most of the animals possible, including big five, cheetah, crocodile, cerval cat etc. The driver and guide were very helpful in finding and spotting the animals and reserve time for us to take pictures and provide us with some background info on them. The cook made good and tasty meals of which there was always plenty of available. Conclusion is that we had a great time with "it started in africa" and would recommend it to other people.

About: Go2Africa
Best Vacation Ever, thanks to Go2Africa
5/5

When I started looking into booking our honeymoon to South Africa, I thought I'd be able to do it myself....I was very wrong. Not knowing anything about Africa, it's very difficult to plan a 2 week trip. I reached out to Go2Africa because a friend of mine used them and loved them...so happy I did!
Mary Keet was our contact, and she was outstanding. After speaking to her and going over with her what I'd already researched about the area, she made recommendations that were SPOT ON. Everything from the hotels at each stop, the safari, the shark dive operator, and literally every single meal - her recommendations were fabulous. She personally made all of the reservations - yes, including lunch and dinner every day - and made great recommendations for activities in-between. She even got us into some fantastic restaurants that, from what I understand, are booked several months out (Pot Luck club - amazing!).
Mary was awesome - great recommendations, very responsive, super patient - I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much Mary for making our honeymoon perfect!!!

An unforgettable trip of a lifetime
5/5

We were referred to Uniglobe Let's Go Travel by an American friend who had used their safari services many years ago. Everything about our 17 day safari exceeded all our expectations. Paula did a wonderful job of planning our driving safari which began and ended in Nairobi going to Tsavo West, Amboseli, Mount Kenya, Samburu, Lake Baringo, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara. Our driver/guide, Bernard was a delight to be with. He drove very well and very safely in addition to keeping the vehicule well maintained and clean. More importantly, he was very respectful of all the animals keeping a privacy distance from them, all the while allowing us to quietly observe their habits and take pictures. The fact that Bernard knew a lot about birds definitely enhanced our experience. All our accomodations and food were outstanding and we were very happy that we had decided, with Paula, to choose the tented experience.
One of the many highlights of our trip was seeing Mount Kilimanjaro without the cloud cover and seeing elephants walking in front of the iconic mountain. This image will remain etched in my memory forever.
We are already starting to discuss our return to Africa and we shall certainly involve Paula in our communications very soon.
Thanks again to Alan for encouraging us to travel to Kenya in spite of some of the obstacles; to Paula for organizing a wonderful trip; and to Bernard for keeping us safe and happy. This is a unique and efficient team of travel professionals.
Hakuna Matata (my favorite expression).

Amazing once in a lifetime experience
5/5

Communication: The communication prior to the trip was fantastic and prompt. Raphael responded quickly to our emails and answered all of our concerns and questions. We honestly had a long email thread going and it felt like we already knew each other by the time we first met in Nairobi.

Service: The service was amazing. Our tour operator George was the best guide we could have asked for. He was incredibly knowledgeable about animals in the safari and taught us about the culture and lifestyle in Kenya. This was the biggest surprise for me. I expected to see tons of animals, but being able to build a relationship with the tour operator and learn more about Kenya and its people was the cherry on top.

Accommodations: 5 star. I was nervous about this before we left, but was very pleasantly surprised. The lodges were spacious, clean, and had all of the amenities you would expect in a hotel. The service at all of these lodges was also top notch. Everyone was ready to assist you however they could and truly made an effort to make you feel welcome.

Safari: Awesome experience. We saw herds of elephants moving from the bush to the marsh, prides of lions lounging during the day and playing during the night, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, etc. We were able to see just every animal we wanted and more. The safari was also well planned in the we were able to go to Amboseli National Park and see Mount Kilimanjaro. Our last day at Amboseli, we had breakfast outside on a patio on a crystal clear day and had the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The only thing that I would leave out is Lake Nakuru. The redeeming factor for this trip was seeing rhinos and a very cool interaction between a few lions and water buffaloes, but if you're coming to see flamingos (which it was previously famous for) make sure to check the conditions before you come. Lake Nakuru's water levels were too high when we came so we hardly saw any flamingos.

Overall amazing trip!
