Met my new family!
5/5

This company is incredible. They are all hard workers and genuinely nice people. The trip was amazing, life changing even! I had the time of my life and met people that i am now so close to. Zazu has become a part of my life, and it has changed my life for the better. I recommend this company 100%. I will be going back.

Amazing Honeymoon Safari
5/5

My Brother went on a Safari in 2013 and although he booked with a different company he ended up having Quintin from Bubezi Safaris as his Safari Guide. As soon as he heard that we were contemplating going on a Safari for our honeymoon he said we should definitely talk to Quintin and Bubezi as he would ensure we had the honeymoon (safari) of a lifetime......and we certainly were not disappointed.

Booking with Bubezi was incredibly easy - this was all done with Andy and he was unbelievably accommodating. Not only did we do the Safari but we travelled on from South Africa to Mauritius, which we booked through a separate Travel Agent. We sent those details to Andy and he came back with the itinerary that would fit in perfectly with our additional plans and allowed us to be picked up by Bubezi at Johannesburg airport and taken back there and without the worry of making sure we made our flights - service at it's finest!

The proposed itinerary sounded amazing - jam packed full of game drives and relaxing dinners and picnic stops and to top it all off, as it was our honeymoon, it was only going to be the two of us Andy and Quintin - perfect!

Of course there is a lot of admin to sort out before going on Safari but again this was all made very easy with Andy. Payment was made and taken using a straight forward card authorisation form.

So once we had dotted the I's and crossed the T's, all that was left was to get married and get ourselves to Johannesburg! During this time contact was kept in order to make sure we didn't feel forgotten! Upon arrival in SA Andy met us at the airport and took us up to Kruger, but as it was our honeymoon then a little surprise was laid on for us.....an amazing drive through the Panoramic Tour, seeing God's Window and the Three Rondewelds.

We could go into so much detail about the next three days of the Safari but we would honestly write an essay! To keep it brief....Andy and Quintin made sure we were treated like Royalty!! With regards to food, we filled out a short form before travelling to let Andy know what we liked to eat and drink and all of these things, with a traditional South African twist, were prepared for us by Andy & Quintin. Despite the limited resources on hand the food that we ate was amazing and of the highest quality.

Andy & Quintin are so professional and knowledgeable about what they do every day but at the same time the safari was very informal so much so that not only did we come away thinking that we had had an amazing Safari, seeing all the animals that we wanted to see, but we also came away thinking we had made two new friends as well.

If you are looking for a bespoke, relaxing Safari then we cannot recommend Bubezi Safaris enough....in fact we are already saving our pennies to go back again and spend some time more time with Andy & Quintin in the near future!

Safari Infinity - simply the BEST!
5/5

This trip was a year in the making.

At first, it seemed like such a daunting undertaking. I carefully studied Trip Advisor reviews for tour operators who could organize our trip to Kenya and Tanzania, eventually sending out enquiries to eight different tour operators. I methodically whittled them down. Some did not want to customize something for me. Some were trying to push their own properties on me. Some gave really inflated quotes. Some took over a week to get back to me. Some did not bother to even reply.

And then there was Safari Infinity.

From the outset, Lucia Lee-Kombe put my mind completely at ease. She responded to each email immediately, sometimes within just a few minutes, which is impressive considering the nine-hour time difference between Tanzania and my home in Canada. I lost count how many changes I made to our itinerary yet Lucia’s professionalism and patience never wavered. She offered excellent suggestions on accommodations, flights and routings and I had complete confidence that when doing so, she had my best interest at heart.

From the moment we touched ground in Africa, everything was smooth sailing. We spent six nights in Kenya and eight nights doing the Northern Circuit in Tanzania. Safari Infinity took exceptionally good care of us. Nothing was overlooked. While still somewhat new compared to some other companies out there, other tour operators should stand up and take notice. Safari Infinity is what many other tour operators can only hope to be. Customer service is exceptional. They are detail-oriented. They do what they tell you they will do. The employees are both professional and infectiously personable. With this formula, they can’t help but succeed.

My mom and I met Safari Infinity co-founders Simon (Sam) and Lucia in Arusha before we flew out to the Serengeti. What a lovely couple! It was nice to put a face to the person I had been corresponding with for over a year. I felt like I was meeting long-lost friends. Lucia even arranged to have new memory cards for my camera, after I had contacted her from Kenya in a panic that my memory card had been corrupted. She saved the day. There were also some fun surprises and gifts along the way. I won’t give them away but they sure brought a smile to our faces; the little things do matter and it was such a nice touch.

I am sure that all of the safari guides working for Safari Infinity are excellent. As with all well-run companies, Safari Infinity’s extremely high level of customer service coupled with their attention to detail would ensure that all of its safari guides are at the top of their game (no pun intended). Excellence is the only option. Even so, I have to say that the heavens shone down upon us when my mother and I were fortunate enough to have Kelly as our safari guide. There’s excellence and then there’s uber-excellence in the form of our guide, Kelly.

Kelly’s understanding of nature and wildlife and the passion with which he talks about it is wonderfully intoxicating. Kelly’s innate ability to read a situation and be able to accurately predict what an animal was about to do showed that he is a truly gifted and learned safari guide. I think that Kelly knew what the animals were about to do even before the animals themselves knew! He is the animal whisperer of the Serengeti. While other companies’ guides relied heavily on the use of their radios to ask others where game could be found, Kelly’s expertise enabled us to have exclusive viewings on so many occasions, we lost count.

All of this coupled with an inquisitive mind, a welcoming smile and a great sense of fun made Kelly the perfect safari companion for my mom and me. We had great conversations. We laughed so hard we cried. Kelly taught us patience which allowed us to get so much more out of the experience. It wasn’t just about getting photos of animals and checking them off our list; it was learning about their behaviour and understanding their “story”, so that when we finally returned home, those photos would have so much more meaning. If you have Kelly as your safari guide, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time.

Going on safari is a life-changing experience, and I am so appreciative to all the people at Safari Infinity for flawlessly executing my dream. I highly recommend using Safari Infinity as your tour operator. With them you are guaranteed a wonderful experience. Asante sana, Safari Infinity!

3 day safari; Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara
5/5

The team at Focus in Africa were very accommodating. They picked me up from Kilimanjaro airport and transferred me to Arusha. I wanted my first day in Tanzania to be relaxed and the company was very happy to delay my safari departure to allow me to rest in Arusha before starting the safari. I told the company i was happy to go on safari as part of a group, but when they didn't have anyone else booked to go on my departure date they sent me off on my own with the guide; my own private safari for the same price! I imagine a lot of other companies might try and delay the departure date to get more people going but i was very impressed with Focus in Africa providing this service.

Nelson (company owner) was also very accommodating with my itinerary. He told me that i was more likely to see animals in the Tarangire national park than in Arusha national park at this time of year, so cut Arusha and sent me to Tarangire for no additional cost.

My guide (Kom) was very knowledgeable and a very safe driver as well. I will definitely be recommending Focus in Africa to people i meet on my travels.

Seamless Safari Experience with Wild Wings
5/5

This was our first visit to South Africa and first safari. My wife and I had some anxiety on how to arrange transfers, lodging, and game hunts. Luckily, we sent an inquiry to Wild Wings, and we knew from their informative response that we'd picked a winner right away. Our advisor, Madi, patiently answered our numerous questions and laid out all the details for us, including what to bring, cost, what to expect, and other important details and suggestions. From touch down at the Hoedspruit Airport to take off, we were taken care of by Wild Wings Safari. The transfer was waiting for us and shuttled us to the Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, giving us lots of information and details along the way. We even saw two giraffes right by the road along the way! Once at the lodge, we couldn't have been happier with our accomodations; meals; game drives; trackers, guides, and staff at the lodge. Ross and Dominic, our ranger and tracker, worked so hard to make sure we got great sightings each day. The food was excellent and prices for drinks were reasonable. With Wild Wings and Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, there were no surprises and everything went smoothly throughout our stay. We were picked up on our last day and sadly left our great experience. We highly recommend Wild Wing Safaris and the Gomo Gomo Game Lodge!

Our local Insurance company had contacted several tour operators for an incentive trip and i an say, our choice Tropical Vacations Inc, didnt dissappoint...their response was efficient and also suggested workable options of the destinations, accommodation and price ranges....The driver guide James was informative and also attentive to our numerous questions...The farewell candle lit dinner at the Observation Hill inside the park was a plus and not to forget the final Nyama Choma lunch as a farewell...we will for sure use you for our other trips and are happy to strongly reccommend you to our friends..Thumbs up to Mathew, who also accompanied us just to make sure things run smoothly ....
