Disappointing - Would not recomend them to any of my friends.
2/5

Communication- Fair
Service- was pretty bad. they dont stick to the timings . On the day we were to leave from Nairobi to Masai Maara, we were quite appalled with the quality and cleanliness of the mini bus that we were driving to Masai Maara. When we were told that this would be the vehicle that we would go on the game drive , we politely refuse to take that vehicle considering the rough terrain that we would be covering as the Van was in really bad condition without propoer upholstery and bad seats.
when we insisted they had the vehicle changed to a slightly better one.
Day 1- Evening -on reaching MM ,our Tour guide (Fred) was not able to locate our lodge amidst the Savannahs and we aimlessly wandered for about an hour searching and then he decided that we would go on the game drive after which we will find the lodge.
Day-2 was the best day of the 3 day tour as we were on the game drive from morning to evening. Packed lunch was provided.
Day-3 : our schedule was to leave for another game drive from 630 to 830 am after which we were to drive back to Nairobi. However when the tour guide came to pick us up he said that there was some technical snag and the car battery was having problems. We hardly took off and the van stopped twice in the grasslands. We then suggested that he go to the mechanics available in the town to which he agreed and after a 40 mt drive we reached the place but none of them were available. it was already 820 by then and he quitely filled petrol and said that he suggests that we skip the drive as we would reach Niarobi only between 7pm-9m if we went for the drive. We agreed to that as we were a bit concerned about the Vehicle giving way in the middle of the Savannahs with animals around us.
Little did we know that this was a ploy by the tour operators as half way through on our way back to Nairobi , the guide stopped for lunch and after lunch he told us that there would be a change in plan and that we had to move into another car which was parked beside ours and that the passengers in that car would travel in the vehicle we came from MM and we would go to nairobi in their car.
at that point of time we actually wondered how could they take them on a game drive if the van had technical snags (stoppped at least 3 times in Masai Maara when we started the game drive)??
It was just a pretext used by these guys as they needed the car by noon to make the swap.

Overall - Althoguh i would want to visit MM again , i would not take another package with them as their service was quite disappointing and would not recomend them to any of my friends.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
5/5

Hello Angela,

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to plan and execute the best vacation my wife and I have ever been on. It was absolutely flawless and seamless. From the accommodations, to the experiences, to the transfers everything was tremendous and perfect. You were incredible with assisting me with every question I had and providing explanations to things I didn't understand and needed help with. I have been bragging about Kruger Park Travel non stop since I have been back and recommending to everyone if they want to plan a vacation to Africa to contact you and I have provided them with your email address. My wife had never been out of the United States and she was very nervous about traveling to Africa because she didn't know what to expect. She has completely over joyed with everything you setup for us. We both want to go back in a couple of years and I will definitely be contacting you to help me plan our next adventure to Africa. Once again thank you for everything and you are awesome!!!

Uganda Birding and Gorilla Trekking Trip with Nature Travel Birding
5/5

We are very pleased with our trip August 2017 to Uganda with Nick Buys of Nature Travel Birding. Our pre-trip expectations were high and Nick delivered! Logistically Uganda is not an "easy" trip but Nick handled the challenges on the ground with ease and expertise. Lodging and food were adequate although WIFI was very spotty. The main focus of the trip was birding and gorilla trekking. Nick is very astute of quickly assessing your bird list and pursuing additions to the list as well as focusing on endemics species. Many daily excursions were conducted with the assistance of local guides with great knowledge of local birding hotspots. The net effect was a very focused search of species with minimal down time. Nick never loses sight of his clients needs and has the expertise and experience to assist in the location of the bird. Gorilla and Chimp trekking was as advertised; wonderful and astonishing!

This trip was primarily forest birding with a lots of time spent looking up at the canopy. Usual days were up before sunrise and back at sunset. Roads are not the best, mostly gravel, and we drove many kms to maximize out experience. Our 14 day trip brought a closeness to trip participants (including locals) which proved to be fun and rewarding.

We saw upwards of 400 species of birds, probably over 50% new additions to our bird list. We had three sightings of the shoebill, one for 20 minutes within 10 meters of us. Other birding highlights included spectacular visuals of the Green Breasted Pitta and African Green Broadbill. Our gorilla trekking had us spend over 1 hour with a family again meters away from us. Chimps were high in the forest canopy but provided entertainment by raining down projectiles at us!

Overall a great trip and wonderful experience. Nick is passionate about his guiding and love of birding and mammals. We are already in discussion with Nick on our next trip.

Great organization and perfect guide who speak Italian!
5/5

The organization was great, fast email responses and punctuality and accuracy during the safari. Thomas, the guide, was great. In addition to speaking Italian it was very interesting to talk with him about animals and Tanzania life. He was always timely, reliable and helpful. The quality/price ratio is good with this company.

Lets Go Travel - Kampala, Uganda the only way to travel!
5/5

Thankyou Lets Go Travel - Angelica, Charles and our driver and guide Emmy - for sharing your knowledge and Ugandan culture with us. Our safari commenced in Kampala, onto Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of the elusive tree lions. Driving around in search of tree lions was not proving to be "fruitful" until our guide said "I have a feeling to turn around - What is that feeling" We all shouted -" Instinct! Follow your instinct." Emmy quickly turned the landcruiser ("troopie") around - wise move. In the boughs of a fig tree were four glorious fat sleeping tree lions. That's what makes the difference. A guide and driver who will go the extra mile to please his clients. The schedule was tight and in hindsight I should have allowed for more time. Thankyou Let's go travel you lived up to all my expectations and more - the Safari - Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest ( Gorilla trekking) and Lake Mburo where absolutely breathtaking. The Ugandan people, wildlife, unique Ugandan landscape and natural beauty of the forests and lakes will be remembered forever. Let's Go Travel - the only way to travel!

An experience worth dying for!
5/5

The African safari experience.
Much appreciation to African Habitat Safaris Safari tours and their team of experts for a memorable African tour.
We booked a two weeks safari based on reviews about the firm and an incredible Kenya tour operator Rachel was waiting on the other end. She, being the sole owner of the company facilitated the experience form the point of booking to the end of the tour. The safari was conducted in a van fit for my family. Our tour guide, Obama conducted the trip professionally depicting knowledge of the terrain, the wildlife and the culture revolving between Kenya and Tanzania country generally. The destinations across the two countries in Mara and Serengeti. That was a remarkable ten day experience out of Europe

We had a dream holiday, got to see every animal possible up close and in their own environment.
5/5

Our guide in Uganda was excellent, so enthusiastic and proud of his beautiful country. We started with visiting a Rhino reserve, which was wonderful! We got to walk through the place to find them which was very exciting. The guides there were very informative. We got to see so much on the game drive at Murchison Falls, elephants, giraffes, lion, antilope, plus all the animals we saw on the river when we took a boat ride, and not forgetting the most amazing array of bird life we have ever seen! A high lite to us was at Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge, where we had a great view across the river from our veranda, and not long after arriving a big herd of 20 or more elephants came to bathe just about 30 metres away from us, what a buzz! The biggest thrill was tracking to see the Mountain Gorillas! That was absolutely breath taking! It was very emotional to be in their territory and not feeling scared. Tanzania was equally beautiful, with another excellent guide! We loved the lodges especially Manyara Wildlife Lodge and Tortillis Camp, we felt very well looked after on their hands! The game drives were stunning, I don't think there is an animal that we didn't see! We saw heaps of lions, a pride with around Fifteen Cubs, walked in front of our car! We also saw a kill involving a zebra, with four lions on it, a bit confronting but very natural. The Ngorogoro Crater was breath taking and also amazing for the wild life! This whole trip was more than we could ever imagine, we were blown away by all we got to experience!

***anazing company highly recommend***** We pre booked 6 days at safari and 7 days killimanjero climb, via Machame route. From the very begining, while we were srill watsapping, Nelson was always ready to listen and answer any question we had ( and we had a lot!!) Always with patience and a Nelson greeted us at the airport, with the safari guide and saw to our every need, from sleeping bags, to local sim card and anything else. The team was super professional, Dulla, our safari guide was full of knowledge, with keen eyes that spoted all the animals, we got to see a herd of Ganoos crossing the Mara river, he didn't give up on finding animals even when we did.... Our guide to Killimanjero, Kennedi, was super super professional, made sure we have all the equipment, and actually gave us his own things to use. We felt that all the stuff are trying to make as feel an comfortable and wellcom as possible. the guides, porters and of course, Ricahrd the cook that made sure we eat nutritious and very tasty food. To sum up, everything was really perfect. They saw us through the Killimanjero climb challenge with a lot of care, and most importantly in complete safety!! Highly recommended company. I am sure that anyone who books a trip with them will be more then happy and get the most out of Tanzania !
