Anja Naude and Go2Africa made our safari trip a reality and a wonderful and memorable experience
5/5

We are just back from an incredible 10-days in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We wanted to thank Anja Naude and Go2Africa for making this dream safari a reality. The trip was a year in planning and from the first contact, which was a general inquiry on a trip to Kruger, to its conclusion, it was a delight to work on the details with Anja. After looking at the itineraries on offer, we decided on creating our own. Anja listened and gave us realistic options. We appreciated having access to her knowledge, expertise and connections. Any and all communications and questions had a reply from her within 24 hours. We were able to book our lodge early enough to avail of the 2014 rates. The payment system made was efficient and trouble-free. All the choices -- from flights, accommodations and activities -- were superb with the group loathe to leave each stop as they could not believe it could get better.

The Residence Lodge was the perfect welcome stop for the long trip to Johannesburg. It quickly got us into vacation mode. Leadwood Lodge was over-the-top. We will review this separately but let me say that this probably should be the last stop on the itinerary as anything after it will suffer in comparison. The kids were "homesick" the first day of our next stop and they didn't mean the USA. They wanted to go home to Martha, Chris, Justin, John, Isaac and Patricia at Leadwood Lodge. The activities in Livingstone and Victoria Falls (segway, quad biking, zipline, Angel Pool and Vic Falls, cruising) were the perfect complement to our safari adventures.

All the flights -- international from the UK and USA and all regional flights -- worked very well. We were very glad we opted for the air transfers to and from the lodge as it maximized our time there. The air transfer to Ulusaba got us there before lunch and we went on our first drive that evening. Booking the flight from Ulusaba to Mpumalanga allowed us to fit in a morning game drive -- a fitting farewell to the safari leg of our trip.

The connections and transfer arrangements to and from the airports were punctual, reliable and worked flawlessly, i.e., Ilios in Johannesburg, the staff at Leadwood and Wild Horizons for our Livingstone leg. These were very welcome after a long trip into unfamiliar territory. Knowing our transfers were reliably sorted allowed us to focus on the trip activities. We appreciated the assistance at the Zambia/Zimbabwe border. It made our activities in the Zim side so much more enjoyable.

I wanted to thank Anja especially for the special touches and surprises that made my sister's 50th birthday so special for her and for us. I joined in on the delight at the special surprise cake and champagne celebration under the Merula tree at Leadwood. Our last activity was the Ultimate River Cruise on the Zambezi. They sang Happy Birthday once we boarded the African Queen and led us to the Captain's table. This was truly special and a perfect ending to our dream trip.

Anja and Go2Africa made our safari trip a reality and a wonderful and memorable experience. We are going back and we will do so with Anja and Go2Africa as our indispensable partners. Thank you once again from Marissa, Ellen, Beci, Mark, James & Sabrina.

good experience
5/5

We visited Victoria Falls and used Falcon Safaris for our transfers to and from Hwange. The transfers were comfortable, with safe drivers and lots of space in the minivans. The Victoria Falls hotel was marvellous, a bit like stepping into the 1940s with the colonial atmosphere, but lovely staff and grounds. The food at the terrace restaurant was disappointing although breakfast at the Jungle Junction was superb.

Fantastic experiences in Africa with Arch Treks and Safaris whether climbing, trekking or on safari
5/5

The service provided by James and his team was exemplary for our diverse trip of climbing Kilimanjaro, Mt Kenya and seeing the sights of Africa at game parks and other recommended places. James managed
the needs of 10 strong minded individuals with competence and politeness, whether this be hotels, travel, site seeing, food, equipment, making tough calls on altitude issues, or other personnel request. Our trip was one of a life time as James and his team went out of their way to make our trip very special. His team warrant a special mention as they were very experienced cooks-drivers-porters-friends, first rate people with a sense of purpose, pride and humour. Thank you James.

My trip to Etosha National Park was a completely new experience for me that I enjoyed thoroughly.

From the UK we flew to the capital of Namibia (Windhoek) and hired a car from there. After travelling several hundred kilometres north to Anderson gate on the south part of the park we arrived at ongava lodge. The lodge staff were very welcoming and made our stay very special. The lodge has a total of 34,000 hectares of private land bordering Etosha and several styles of camp to suit people's adventure. On a daily game drive we entered Etosha through Anderson gate and spent several hours at waterholes and open plains watching all types of wildlife such as elephants and lions. After spending multiple hours in the fresh winters sun we returned to the lodge for lunch where we recieved a wide array of local cuisine. A proportion of relaxation time in the afternoon was quickly broken when we embarked a sundowner drive in the ongava reserve. Our very knowledgable guide took us to prime locations to make sure he would fulfil are passion to see a honey badger and secretary bird. After a lovely stay at ongava lodge we set off to the Far East of the park were we stayed at onguma lodge near the town of namutoni. This lodge was very different with a moroccan design. Are lodge like ongava where all separated and at least 50-400 metres from the main building, meaning we had to be driven by a electric car at all times back and forward, besides the mild inconvenience this definetly made our stay very more exciting. The onguma lodge had roughly the same private land and same agenda but the landscape had changed from a baron land to a place where there was many more trees. The trees attracted more wildlife like the higher possibility of seeing leopard and bush babies. After another 4 days in Etosha it was time to leave after an unbelievable stay. throughout my stay in Etosha everything was great, the guides, weather, lodges and wildlife and I can't say enough how much I recommend Etosha national park

Kenya Walking Survivors Safari made our family trip an unforgettable adventure
5/5

Thank you KWSS for providing outstanding advice and service to our family throughout the planning process and during our 14 day safari. KWSS individualized our itinerary and their attention to our family made us feel like we were their only clients. They changed our itinerary mid-travel to give us more time at Masai Mara and organized two special birthday surprises for me and my son. Patrick was a wonderful guide/driver in Kenya and treated our family like his own. We were fortunate to see the big 5--including a family of endangered black rhinos, as well as many other fascinating birds and wildlife. We also visited Masai and Samburu villages while in Kenya. The Mgahinga Gorilla Park was an experience of a lifetime that we only chose due to the local expertise of KWSS. We will definitely use KWSS for all of our future trips to East Africa.

Exceeded all our expectations
5/5

We were really impressed by how Outlook Safaris helped us plan our first family safari. Elsabe was brilliant and I felt her advice on where to stay was spot on. She answered all our questions promptly and in detail; we changed plans a couple of times and this was dealt with efficiently. We wanted to stay in a small affordable lodge (we are a family of 5) that gave us an extra special experience of the bush and her recommendation of Nkorho Bush Lodge was perfect. The safari experience and lodge exceeded our expectations and it was the absolute highlight of our 3 week holiday in South Africa. We had a fantastic ranger (Werner) and tracker (Chris) who were obviously passionate about their jobs and we felt that each drive was special; my husband is a really keen birder and I felt that Werner went out of his way to make sure that he spotted as many species as possible (several Ground Hornbills on our last game drive was a dream). We also saw leopards on nearly every game drive plus exciting views of lions, rhino, elephant, buffalo, hippo, jackal, hyenas............we are already starting to plan our next safari and would definitely use Outlook Safaris again.

Incredible safari with an excellent guide
5/5

I have been on multiple safaris in Tanzania, and this was by far one of the best ones that I have ever experienced. Ernest was an incredible tour guide, and made sure that we saw everything that we expressed an interest in seeing at the beginning of the safari. We saw two different groups of lions, and even saw some lions mating! He took us close to a massive herd of buffalo, and we saw many elephants, giraffes, and even went looking for leopards. Ernest is extremely friendly, speaks English very well, and took us to great places for breakfast and lunch as well! I would HIGHLY recommend this safari to anyone who is looking to go on safari in Tanzania. No need to go to the Serengeti, Ruaha National Park has everything you need!!
