Best budget safari that exceeds expectations!
Six of us went on a Safari with Hekima in the month of June for 5 days. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. We had an amazing guide who could spot animals from afar. We were so lucky that we saw all the Big 5, Small 5 and the ugly 5. We had a great cook with us who gave us delicious food to eat and also ensured that everyone’s diet was taken care of. The entire safari was very well handled and our guide went out of his way to take us to see the great migration. It was an absolute pleasure and a wonderful experience. Hekima took care of us and ensured that we had enough water to drink, food to eat and beds to sleep on throughout the journey. We not only had a great experience but made lifelong friendships as well.

Very enthusiastic, thoughtful and knowledgeable about natural.
We have an exciting journey in safaris. Our guider and driver, Simbo Mushi, is excellent. He took care about everything for our comfortableness. His knowledge of natural made us more and more love safaris. Even he noticed that my smart phone was out of battery and I had no tools to take pictures at the next day. He gave me his charge after dinner because of knowing that may be I have only chance to visit safari. Talking with him about education, social and tradition of Tanzania bring to me a lot of insights. We thank Simbo all.
And Richson, he was so thoughful that he went to our hotel after ending tour to ask if we are ok and took us to Arusha Airport a day later. His company had provided good service and we are very pleased with this. Thank Richson.
We also thank our chef. Sorry because we forgot his name. During our trip, we call him "Master Chef". We like his beef very much, and his chapati, spageti.

A simple awesome experience
Simply awesome! Booked with Affordable Kilimanjaro; payment, booking, customer service - everything was excellent. We booked a 7 days Lemosho route climb for our first day at Kilimanjaro and though that it was completely worth it. Priceless tips and suggestions for the next few days made our trip unforgettable. Great Experience with an Amazing Crew!
The staff at Hekima - right from Elieza, Jackson, Juma, Michael and others, always went the extra mile to ensure nothing short of an incredible safari experience. We were a group of 6 guys and all our needs (including varying dietary requirements) were taken care of. I would also suggest a stay at Hekima House before and after the safari.
Special credit to Juma, who was our driver as well as guide for the 5 days. He had extremely sharp eyes that could spot a honey badger a mile out in the grassland. He took extra efforts to allow us to see the Great Migration that had drifted off farther than the normal safari routes. Add to this his impressive knowledge of the various wild animals and his excellent sense of humor, we really couldn't have asked for a better guide!
Hekima will ensure that extra "personal touch" to your experience. You will end up making friends for life. Highly recommended!

Exellent service by Gecko safaris.
Our 7-day safari with Gecko safari was the absolute highlight of our time in Uganda and Rwanda! Jessy's passion for the animals and the park were felt at every turn - he's been guiding safaris for 14 years and was still just as excited as we were to find the animals and explore the park! We had Sam as our guide the last day of our tour and he was also fantastic - both incredibly knowledgeable and did all they could to show us a great trip filled with animals and beautiful views . Gecko safaris is highly recommended for any tour in Uganda,Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya.

These guys know what the customer needs very well
Safari is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many and I am no exception. Hekima understood that and brought back the National Geographic kid back to life with an extravagant safari experience. Our tour guide Jumma is a very experienced guide with hawk eyes, who made sure we spot the big five and also rare to spot honeybadger and the Karakal. I will suggest you all to give Hekima a try, as these guys are doing a wonderful job as a start up and bring Tanzanian tourism on the global map.

Memorable Experience!
Our experience with Affordable Kilimanjaro was even off to a wonderful start before the day we arrived. When I called about reservation options, Victoria also provided a lot of helpful information about hiking Kilimanjaro and wonderful meal recommendations.
Our guide, Julius who led our group of two, was very inviting, addressed questions throughout, and let us know of upcoming spots we'd want to ensure we snapped a picture.

Amazing guided tour.
This was the first guided tour I had ever traveled on. I wasn't sure what to expect on the trip to Kilimanjaro. I've never had anyone else ever carry part of my day-pack before, so I felt a bit odd at first. It didn't take long to realize that Affordable Kilimanjaro wanted to keep this trip about the experience and not about who can carry the most or hike the fastest. The pace was great for all levels.
The Machame route was amazing. At every stop at our camping sites we were well taken care of. The food was outstanding. Our guides were very knowledgeable about all the mountain and the flora and fauna.
I would use Affordable Kilimanjaro again without question.

Magical
My partner and I spent two weeks in Kenya where we visited Nairobi, Masai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo West. In Nairobi we spent most time in David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and in the Giraffe Manor, whereas in the other locations we were located inside the parks and doing morning and afternoon Safaris or full day Safaris.
While we were preparing our trip Daniel was incredible helpful, giving us all the insights and tips he had from all his experience organizing Safaris, and was super patient and great to communicate with.
When we got to Kenya, Peter, our driver, was waiting for us and he was for the remaining of the two weeks our guide. Peter is a super interesting person, very good communicator and very well informed, and it was a delight to share these two weeks with him and talking over about the Kenyan wildlife and several other topics around Kenyan culture.
We are definitely going to go back (hopefully soon!) and definitely booking again with Transtrek, as the experience could not have been better, totally recommend.

Holiday in Zanzibar
I traveled to Zanzibar from Nairobi with my family and the experience was unforgettable. Roaming Africa booked flights for us as well as accommodations in one of the best five-star hotels. They kept checking on us and made sure our visit was totally worth it. We were also chauffered in a comfortable van as we toured the coastal city. Next time I want a trip out of Kenya, I'll definitely look for these tour operators.
