Absolutely outstanding! Customized personal attention to detail with an amazing experience!!
5/5

We recently completed a 5 day safari including; Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara and Tarangire. Makasa did an outstanding job customizing our experience. Our guide was not only knowledgeable and friendly, but went out of his way to make our experience absolutely tremendous. Selma planned our accommodations that not only allowed us to experience luxury but also to truly see and experience Tanzania at its best! Makasa is a family owned and operated business and we certainly felt that we were treated as members of that family. WE WILL BE BACK WITH OUR OWN CHILDREN.

Wonderful time
4/5

This safari was very nice, I had a wonderful time! We saw the big five and lot of other animals. The guide/driver was a very nice guy and he knew a lot about the animals. Even when there was a problem with the car one evening, he did an excellent job. The next morning everything was all right again, ready to bring us to the next game drive. Sometimes I had to wait a long time for other passengers to join us, but as a whole I had a very nice experience!

I had a wonderfull ans exciting time!
5/5

Me and my friends agree that Tom form Karibu Safaris is the best driver you can possibly get! We got to see so much and had an awesome time!
Communication and organization of the tour was no problem at all. Any request we made was fulfilled perfectly fine.

There was only one negative point. the overnight stay in the Nakuru Golden Palace Resort. If there is an option, choose another hotel where the bathroom is not set under water and where you not have to share the dinning room with little kids singing karaoke!

Nevertheless, I can only recommend Karibu Safaris! It is absolutely worth it!!

Diamonds Gemma del Est
5/5

Karibu World booked us a 4 night/ 5 day trip for two to northern Zanzibar that couldn't have been any better! From pick-up at our hotel, flight to the island, to transfer to the resort, all went without a hitch, thanks to Karibu World's expertise. The resort they recommended, Gemma del Est, was sublime. Low-impact architecture ruled by the surrounding gardens and seascape made for a spectacular setting. The resort staff, every single one of them, was friendly and efficient. When we decided to take a ferry back to the mainland instead of the flight we had booked, Karibu World took care of all of the details! What more could one ask for?

Service was excellent from making the booking for the lodge and cruise. Very helpful
5/5

The communication and service was top notch for me, we were not disappointed at all with our lodgings and the sunset cruise. Our only disappointment was the delay in picking us up from the lodge, we were advised that our pick up time was 3.45pm but they only arrived at 4pm, but otherwise we were taken care of well. Will happily deal with them again.

Absolutely excellent trip :)
5/5

All communications beforehand, advice during planning etc was excellent. The flexibility we desired was no problem and we got to do, see and experience pretty much all that we were hoping for (given the location and time of year). The one thing I can think of was some mix up at one of the accommodation places where - in theory - the guide could perhaps have been a bit better at sorting it out quicker with the staff there, but in the end it was really irrelevant and all worked out fine. We don't have a single complaint and highly recommend Tailor Made Safaris. We also recommend you don't stay in the Indian Ocean in sunny weather for too long at a time, without re-applying sunscreen. Learned that the hard way ;)

Elkan Safari Made Our Trip
5/5

Planning a trip to Tanzania for the first time I was extremely excited to take advantage of all that the country had to offer. Over three weeks I wanted to do it all... Safari, a chance to climb Kilimanjaro, and then relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar. Planning this excursion was a daunting task though as there were so many different operators to choose from!

I sent numerous emails to different companies from budget to luxury operators, but only one stood out from the beginning, Elkan Safari. Victor was the first to reply to any email I had and always had an answer for any of my questions. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the process and I couldn't be happier with my decision to book his services.

Safari- Derrick, our guide, was amazing! He was very well versed about the areas we were traveling and always seemed to know right were to go to find the best animals away from the crowd. Our chef was fantastic and the food was great.

Kilimanjaro- Victor hooked it up! We had a full staff of guides, porters, food, and gear. Anything that we needed for the trek he was able to provide. Victor also set our tents and gear up at our hotel beforehand so that we could see what we would be traveling with and made sure that we would be comfortable.
Our guides Kunda and Omi were the best! Kunda was so reassuring throughout the entire climb. He also knew about all the vegetation in the area and the trek turned out to be much more insightful then I had imagined. I honestly can't say enough about the two of them... don't go up the mountain without those guys! There was sooo much food too. I couldn't believe it. So good!
*Dingy is also the man!*

I could go on and on. At the end of our safari and again when we finished our climb Victor was there to meet us with Champagne and a smile. I feel like family with the whole crew. I had such a great time and I'm sure it would not have been the same if I had booked with anyone else. They really made the service feel specialized and we weren't just another group to them. I can't say "Thank You" enough!

Great safari on a budget
4/5

We did the two-night, three-day safari of Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Staying at the Sunbright Tented Lodge. The company provided a great service, our guide was great and the cook's food was very good.

Tanzania with the world best guides of SED-Adventures!
5/5

We have been a group of 11 people who travelled through Tanzania. We were lucky, that our friend Martin recommended us to SED – Adventures Tours. He traveled with SED some years ago and was exited.
Now we are also absolutely enthusiastic about East Africa, the animals, the people, and our guides who let us participate at the wonders there. SED made us feel to be welcome in a big family. Thank you Apollo, Anton, Laser, Edgar, Walter, Anna, Alois, Mohamed for your care about us. Your ears were always opened for our wishes – and you realized all of them.
The world best guides Apollo and Anton accompanied us from Mushoma to Dar es Salaam.
Highlights were the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro-Crater. Apollo and Anton showed and explained us Elephants, Hippopotamus, Lions, Buffalos, Zebras, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Warthogs, Hyenas, Jackals, Waterbucks, Monkeys, Mongooses, Gnus, Gazelles, Impalas and much more wild animals. We were always astonished about their good eyes which discovered the animals long time before us. Thank you Apollo and Anton for your perfect guidance and the huge patience with us!
In the hills of Usambara Anna and Alois showed us the wonderful nature and the viewing point Irente. The Lunch was amazing!
SED arranged for us also a stay in Sansibar- in the wonderful Coral-Rock hotel.
We can highly recommend SED –Adventures with their professional guides and the fair prices to all people who want to be in touch with Africa. The chief Walter let us know, that he supports a nursery school with a part of the income of his company. Another further reason to travel with SED!
