Review about Camdeboo National Park by lollipop_lass
Small park but lots of animals to see - antelope and monkeys in particular on my visit. Across the road is the spectacular Valley of Desolation ... Breathtaking views of Graaff-Reinet from the top. Have been to this park twice ... Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Great camping facilities too.

2 days i Murchison Falls.
We went on a morning safari, first ferry across the Nile. Stunning to se the sunrise over the savanna. We were lucky to spot a spotted hyena, very rare to se they said. At the time being there there were a bushfire, so not so much wildlife. Although we saw animals, birds and mammals.

Review about Etosha National Park by michielbesseling
Etosha is a huge safari park. Each game drive here is unique. You'll see a lot of animals, but it will be a surprise what it will be. I was three days in Ethosa and we saw a lot of rhino's. From a distance, but also up close near a water hole. We saw two cheetahs watching gemsbok. And then a large group of giraffe walking on the road. We did not see any elephant. That was a disappointment.
A large proportion of the park cannot be visited: the Etosha pan and the area north of the pan. That's the part of the park where National Geographic photographers do their work.
We slept one day in the park in Okaukujeo. The rooms and restaurant are OK, but not great. I prefer lodges like Etosha Safari Lodge & Camp just outside the park.

The perfect Journey
The days I spent in Serengeti National Park during my stay in Tanzania have been amazing. Immese strethces of flat land surrounded by nothing but the horizon and the most exciting animals making you company during your safaris are breathtaking emotions, not comparable to the everyday routine that we are used to all along our lives.
Moving through the park by the jeep, with a local prepared guide who drives you to the most precious locations makes it even better than it already is.
The weather I found in August was great, a fresh wind always accompanied us, even when the temperature under the sun got higher.
The accommodations are very limited, as there are quite a few lodges. But their quality is just superior; but food is not what makes the difference in this kind of journey.

Great Experience on a Budget
Tantanca Safari & Tours gave us a very satisfying 24-hour safari experience at Ruaha National Park. Our safari driver, Isa (spelling?), was incredibly knowledgeable and was certainly responsible for our ability to see as much wildlife as we did in a very short time period. We saw seven lions, including lions mating and a a lion kill of a crocodile, beautiful herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, the Greater Kudu, antelope, baboons, silver-backed fox, and even a leopard. The list goes on and on. I know I am missing many animals. There were too many birds to list. Isa not only knew where to find the animals, but he had a wealth of knowledge about each species.
Isa also helped us find a very nice place for lunch after our safari. As a guide he is outstanding.
This is a great budget safari company. One drawback is the safari car. It's a long trek into Ruaha and not all of the seats had cushions. If the car was a bit more comfortable Tantaca would have gotten 5 stars. In the meantime, throw some cushions in your backpack and enjoy the ride.
A 6 days tour on Northern Uganda
The experience lived up to our expectation, and Joseph the guide was informed and flexible to our needs. The accommodations were first class, food good, and we saw all the animals we had hoped to. The customized trip to a fresh Waters on Nile river went according to plan, and was a lot of fun.
The only criticism was that the original vehicle we were given had seat belts which didn't work.

The African skies were amazing a contrast to Malawi
I spent 3 nights in the Masa Mara between volunteering in Malawi and Kenya. It was an amazing interlude between the 2 countries and we had 2 excellent guides and drivers. It's possible to see some fantastic game without spending a fortune by staying outside the park boundary. This is not luxury but more than adequate with ample food and some timed internet. The scenery was amazing.

Beautiful
Kenya is a beauty, it's national parks especially Amboseli and Masai Mara are a must visit. Nairobi is a big city and reminded me of an Indian city.
