Indulge and relax in beautiful surroundings

Initially we visited at Augrabies Falls National Park just to see the waterfalls. Which are amazing to view, even though we visited during the dry season. But Augrabies Falls National Park has much more to offer. We didn't expect to scenic beauty we experienced during our drive through the park, it was simply amazing. The canyons and the limited viewings of wildlife made the experience complete. I loved it and would definitely visit again if I would be in this area.

We went to Nyerere wildlife park and it was beautiful with some amazing sites and incredible animals to see. Local culture was amazing and people were generally very friendly. The tour operator was very good too (Daigle Tours). However, for how much we are paying, I do not believe that enough is going to the locals who do the activities. When speaking to some of the locals, they are reliant on tips from travellers rather than being fairly paid by the tour operator for their services. This should be looked into. It does not mean the prices for tours go up, it means the tour gives a bigger share to the locals.

Natural Beauty - Wildlife is Awesome
Overall rating
4/5

Kenya is a naturally very beautiful place. The people are warm, welcoming, mild mannered and very pleasant to be around. The wildlife in the parks is awesome, the beautiful lions, majestic giraffes, elusive cheaters and leopards, playful elephants , ubiquitous zebras and wildebeests, Impalas, monkeys and baboons Meeting the Masai Mara tribe and actually going to their homes was very moving. Our driver ( Jackson) who took us around was fantastic and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed the game drives and got the best views and photo opportunities possible. He was also always very punctual, polite and neatly attired.
The accommodation at the lodges were very comfortable with all modern amenities and a wide variety of food which was delicious.

Thank you Kenya - you have put a smile on my face !!

Three day Safari as it should be
4/5

The safari was excellent as could be expected from an institution such as Little Governors. Good guides, friendly service and not so bad food.

Beautiful place, amazing experience. Would always recommend a tour guide to plan your trip. Would suggest Super Eagles for that.
Definitely should go to Masai Mara and spend few days with the wild along with the tribes.

Game viewing in Maasai Mara
Overall rating
4/5

Kenya is an easy country to visit. Nairobi is a bustling city and it feels much safer now than it did a number of years ago. Maasai Mara is one of the great game parks in East Africa. It is popular, so often there are a number of safari vehicles sharing a sighting but in general the drivers are respectful of each other so all visitors get good viewing of animals.

Beautiful nature and friendly people, with some bumpy roads!

Kenya is a beautiful country to visit- but there is no public transport.
We arranged our safari through “Explore Kenya safari” and had a driving safari. Was picked up at the Nairobi hotel, drove through the amazing Rift Valley to Nakuru park. Birds and animal watching around the lake, staying at a wonderful Nakuru lodge. Then drove on to Masai Mara over the beautiful Mau mountains.
Fantastic place and again a wonderful lodge. Hippos and crocodiles along the river right outside the Mara Simba lodge.
We saw all big five and lots of other animals and birds during our safari.
Nice to end up at the coast. Excellent food all places.

Very low water levels in the Delta, but the wildlife more than made up for it

Our safari took in two lodges on opposite sides of Moremi; Sango Lodge, in the Kwai concession in the east, and Pom Pom Lodge in the west.

We only went into the Moremi Game Reserve proper on one occasion: the rest of the time was spent in the other concessions, which at the time of our visit was where the most accessible wildlife (and in particular, of course, the predators) was to be found.

Sango was impeccable. A wonderful low key lodge, with superb, friendly staff and with two packs of Wild Dogs nearby. A brilliant few days.

Pom Pom lacked some of the special character of Sango, and didn't feel quite so special. Our guide and the wildlife that he was able to show us were both brilliant, so perhaps this is more a comment on how great Sango was, rather than a negative review for Pom Pom.
