Unbelievable.
5/5

We are with Engineers Without Borders at Montana State University. After our work in Khwisero we decided to treat ourselves to a safari. I booked the safari for three people eight months before hand, it was awesome how convenient this was. John Murage was so helpful throughout the whole process, just one week before our trip we were able to add three more of our friends at no cost. The logistics were on point and John was always prompt to answer our questions, sometimes within ten minutes! The safari itself was amazing. We stayed at Enchoro Camp which I would also highly recommend, great food and comfortable lodging, and all the monkeys were fun to watch. Peter was our driver and he was a wizard behind the wheel. He was so good at getting us the best view. Often times we got to places and animals before anyone else! We saw four of the big five. Just missed the leopard. But it's okay because the next morning we spent watching lions hunt and eat, crazy! Peter was also very knowledgeable about the park and the animals. Lunch was delicious and it was beautiful to eat under a massive lone tree. All in all these guys made this trip priceless, for us broke college students the price was definitely worth it! I would definitely return and book with these guys. Asante sana Peter and John!

Great and customized Tanzanian safari experience
5/5

PWS organized a great safari for me and my two friends when we visited Tanzania. They customized it to fit our budget and time preferences. Our guide, Vince, was awesome, knowledge of the parks and wildlife was complemented by a great sense of humour.
Would recommend them

Unforgettable and unique experience
5/5

hen we booked the safari we could have never thought it would have been such well organized: Mega Adventures planned for us unique experiences (sunrises in the middle of nowhere, two walking safaris, wonderful campsites, etc) and we didn't see any other tourists doing them...that made us feel really special and that is why we strongly advise you to choose Mega for your safari.
Our guide Ally was absolutely fabulous as guide and driver: he knows everything about paths, nature, animals and everything we wanted to know...and he tried (and managed) to create for us a magic athmosphere wherever we were, looking for secret places where most of tourists don't go.
Campsites were very nice, with amazing landscapes and meals were so good thanks to our chef Massawe.
Choosing Mega Adventures was the best choice we could ever have done!!!

Professional and experienced safari guiding
5/5

Without much prior information except for some email exchanges with Paul, we decided to book our 6-days safari tour with Tanzania Roadside expeditions because of their flexibility to accommodate our exact wishes (we are a family of four with two teenage sons and hence different interests and wishes...) and at a reasonable price. The tour company choice turned out to be a lucky strike. Being driven and guided around for six days by James was a pure pleasure. Our trip included the national parks of Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara with one night in KatiKati tent camp in Serengeti. We saw all animals one can wish for including two leopards, three cheetahs and one serval cat. We also made a day tour to Lake Eyasi where we visited the Hazebe tribe -which we would really recommend as it is an extraordinary experience!
Our driver and guide James turned out to be an extremely dedicated and experienced tour guide and a very pleasant person to travel with. If requested, he will share a wealth of knowledge about Tanzanian nature and society and our journey to Tanzania would not have been at all as memorable had we not met and gotten to know James.
Being very pleased with the six-days safari, we decided to let Tanzania Roadside Expeditions also arrange guided tours in Zanzibar for us and one day of trekking on Kilimanjaro. These arrangements also worked out very well. We would without hesitation recommend James and Tanzania Roadside Expeditions to anyone looking for a memorable visit to Tanzania!

Gorilla trekking!!
5/5

Highly recommend Kombi Nation Tours for gorilla trekking! We had such a lovely trip! All the planning went really smoothly with quick response on both email and phone from Rachel and Steve at the office. Our driver Frank picked us up on time and kept us entertained on the long drive to Bwindi. It was an awesome experience to see the gorillas and we would highly recommend using this company.

A magical safari experience!
5/5

Since I stayed in Arusha as a volunteer, I decided to go on a safari as well. I did the 4-day-safari and visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I'm so happy that I decided to do this safari with Shemeji Safari & Tours because it was totally worth the money and an absolutely amazing experience! The guide knew a lot of things and has been able to show us the Big Five and also a lot of other amazing animals (for example cheetahs!). The food was delicious and the time schedule was perfect since we have been able to see sunset and sunrise at Serengeti and that was such a magical experience! I loved these four days and I would totally recommend this safari by Shemeji Safari & Tours!

Fantastic Safari service
5/5

Some friends and I wanted to do a safari, but we had very limited time and had specific destinations in our bucket list. Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was the ONLY tour company that was able to cater to our needs, AND had very reasonable prices. They went out of their way to make things happen the way we preferred! Tour guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We absolutely loved every minute of the tour and the experiences we got because of them. I would most definitely recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions for their professionalism and expertise!

Fantastic safari, but wish he would give full disclosure of his commission fees
4/5

Our safari was excellently organized. We loved the entire experience and our stay at Mwagusi in Ruaha exceeded our expectations. Paul even helped us add another member to the safari 15 minutes before we departed. Our only frustration was that he would not disclose to us his commission fees or break all the costs down for us. He would only give us a total cost for the safari and was unwilling to tell us what percentage of the total cost was commission for him. As far as we know, he could be charging 5% or 50%. He does not publish the information on his website and we asked on 4 different occasions, but each time he refused to tell us. Nevertheless, he planned a great safari for us. If you don't mind not knowing what you are paying him to organize the safari, then I can recommend him. If you need full disclosure of the costs, then you should look for someone else.
