An Amazing Trip from the Best in Service and Guiding - CATS Africa Tours
Prior to booking our safari, I did a lot of research on Safari Bookings. I looked at various options. I looked at the reviews. And from there I submitted my requests for a quote. I wanted to see how quickly the company representatives responded, what information they shared with me and then how they responded to questions I had.
CATS Africa Tours answered all my needs and provided a package that my son and I were looking for. I was impressed from the first correspondence that Joyce, their Operations Manager, sent me. She was timely, personable and provided quality information. Her great customer service continued all the way through the process including a phone call greeting us upon our arrival and calling again as the safari was ending to make sure everything was as expected. And it was wonderful!!!
Contact with the company is very important, but your driver/guide is the critical part. And Duncan was absolutely superb!!! He was prompt, cleaned the van each night, and his knowledge of the parks and animals was great!! Not only was he full of information, but he did a great job in listening to the radio regarding where the “action” was taking place. It seems like everyone’s desire is to see “The Big Five”. We did that and more!!
It was a great trip with lots of pictures and memories. If I were to do this again, I would definitely go back to CATS Africa Tours. We were very satisfied!!

Amazing experience from start to finish
We joined a 9-day Uganda trip organized by Rogers, he was also our driver and tour guide.
As a tour operator he has been extremely responsive, attentive and providing great ideas / recommendations in customizing our itinerary.
As a driver, he is a very careful and safe driver and we felt we were in good hands driving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in narrow muddy road fills with holes under the heavy rain, and many other under developed roads within the country.
As a tour guide he possesses vast knowledge of his country’s history, cities, wildlife and that has made our trip extremely fruitful and memorable. He has gone all the way to ensure we get the best experience (he drove tirelessly for 2 hours in QENP looking for tree climbing lions) and is flexible at the same time (we detoured to Mabamba for the incredible shoebill watching).
He became a friend after 9 days.
We were very grateful to have Rogers organized this trip for us. This company, although started small and still at its growth stage, has lots of potential and we wish Rogers and his company the very best in bringing this great country and its unique aspects to the world.

THE SAFARI OF A LIFETIME........WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT!!
My wife and I have recently returned to the UK following a 12 Day Safari visiting Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Ambosseli, Lake Navashia and the Maasi Mara, concluding with a full day tour in Nairobi.
We booked the safari with Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris Ltd. in the early part of last year (2018). At the time we paid in full to receive the maximum discount on an already competitive price for this package.
Our reason for choosing KWSS in the first place was the value for money price quoted for a safari that had a full itinerary together with the excellent reviews from previous satisfied clients.
Then in September 2018, very poor reviews were beginning to show on their web pages and on Trip Advisor which put a lot of doubt in our minds that the company was not all what it portrayed. After a short while, KWSS issued a statement that their CEO, Mr OT. was involved in a horrific road accident and was hospitalised. It then became apparent that without Mr OT at the helm, the everyday running of the office was thrown into turmoil as there was no 'Plan B' set in place to deal with client's problems and payments to safari lodges and park fees.
We contacted the office via emails enquiring about the validity of our safari and was assured by a gentleman named Kenneth that Mr OT would sort out all the problems as soon as he recovered and was well enough to return to the office. A month passed and we contacted KWSS again for further news and confirmation that KWSS were still in the business of providing a customer service to satisfy our contract with them. By now Mr OT had made a good recovery and had now reorganized the office so as in the event of him not being able to carry out the everyday running of the office, there would be a system in place that would never again see issues with future safari bookings. Mr OT assured us that we would indeed have a 'safari of a lifetime' and not to worry.
We were travelling from Tanzania prior to our safari in Kenya and contacted Mr OT a week before to obtain joining times and briefing details. We received a prompt email setting out these details. We were picked up from our hotel on time in Nairobi and the safari commenced.
Our driver and guide, Zachary was very polite and spoke excellent English. In the field he had very good eyes and was able to spot animals that my wife and I did realise were there (African Eyes!!). His knowledge of the parks was exceptional and on two consecutive days we were treated to the 'Big Five'. We saw so many animals, it was such a joy for us as we were also both celebrating major milestones (big birthdays) in our lives and boy oh boy, what a way to celebrate!!
The programme was for the most part kept to, allowing for the long road journeys between parks. The lodges were of a very satisfactory standard as was the food throughout the 12 days.
Any doubts we may have had before leaving the UK quickly disappeared after the very first day, so to anyone who has been put off by bad reviews, please be assured that Mr OT and his company KWSS, WILL provide you with a safari that is set out on their web pages and you too will have 'the experience of a lifetime'

6-Day Lion Trail - amazing safari experience!
The most amazing experience! Olly, KB and Avaleno were absolutely superstars from the moment we met them...
We were travelling around Africa and went to Maun in Botswana to look for a specific safari through the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, ending up in Kasane. We wanted as long as we could get for what we had to spend. Got some quotes from a number of companies and chose the 6-Day Lion Trail with Skytheme Safaris as the best option, and knew we had made the right choice from the very start! We booked it 2 days before we went - Olly came over to meet us in our hostel and took us into town to pick up some last minute supplies, while he spent the rest of the day making the arrangements for us. He even upgraded our tent after seeing how tall my boyfriend is, and gave us comfier beds and upgraded our campsite locations for better animal viewings for the time of year. KB was our guide and Avaleno our chef and both were absolute superstars - it was a real pleasure to spend the week travelling around the national parks with them. KB was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviours, so he knew when to stop and watch some interesting things unfold (impala standing to attention looking in one direction - lions around the corner; lions chilling under a tree with elephants nearby - the elephants chased them off!) and Avaleno made a beautiful campsite every single night and kept us delightfully full with absolutely delicious food for every single meal - even when we had lunch on the road we stopped and set up the table complete with table cloth and all the condiments you can think of. He even made bread from scratch on the camp fire, which was so delicious, and a birthday cake! We saw so many animals (all the big 5 and the ugly 5), and felt really lucky to be able to do a longer than the usual safari at 6 days, which meant we got to sit and observe animal behaviours and interactions more, which was wonderful. I joined the group which they went mikumi.for 3 days,and i must admit that they were on time,the driver had 19 years of experience and he speaks 4 languages and chef give us delicious taste during the trip,the vehicle was clean and Good,also the team is well trained they gave us great experience

Excellent all Around!
We are from Canada. Had a wonderful trip to Africa organized flawlessly by Go2Africa. Experienced, flexible, responsive- everything you want when travelling to a part of the world where you need to be organized , comfortable, and feel safe. We worked with with Lauren who was terrific, and able to seamlessly correspond and organize things for us despite the big time zone difference when communicating. Most important- when some health issues arose on the trip, Lauren and her team were available over the holiday period and responsive, trying their best to make the changes necessary for our comfort and safety. It’s easy to rate a company when all goes well on a trip, but the mark of a quality, client centred company and personnel is when changes and adjustments are needed when something goes wrong. Overwhelmed by excellent service beyond our expectations
Our family of 4 adults did a 12 days tour in Uganda which was our first safari. We found Mukisa Safaris during our pre tour planning to be so reliable, trustworthy , informative and curtious and we held very high expectations and I can happily say that Mukisa Safaris Uganda still managed to exceed our expectations. Email responses were always prompt and our tour was customised according to our preference. We were met at the airport upon arrival by the company representatives together with our guide and driver. Our guide Veronica was such an amazing, knowledgeable , informative and friendly.Of course not forgetting our driver John!!! Not only did we enjoy their company tremendously, but we always felt safe and well looked after by them. We opted for the luxury package and the hotels/lodges were amazing. We traversed Uganda's country side from Entebbe to the north east- Kidepo, Murchison Falls,Kibale , Queen Elizabeth National Park and to the South West- Bwindi; the home of mountain gorillas. We traveled by a Toyota 4x4 safari Van which was confortable equipped with all the amenities including the Wi-Fi and we were always in touch online with our family back home.
We highly recommend this company and their safaris!
