I selected this company among others because I had a warm and comprehensive communication before my decision being made. Their responses is very quick and all answers were satisfied. During the tour, our driver/ guider gave us an excellent overall feeling by its safe driving manner, its rich knowledge about animals and its humor sense

Incredible Seven Day Safari
5/5

The name of the company itself says much. The 'soul' of Tanzania was definitely revealed to us on our incredible seven day safari through its amazing variety of wildlife, beautiful people, delicious food and outstanding service. It all began with Helena, whom I contacted asking for an itinerary and quote. I had contacted several other safari companies but Soul of Tanzania immediately stood out because of Helena. Her replies were so warm and friendly and welcoming. She replied promptly to every email, answered all my million questions and put together a fantastic itinerary for my husband and me. And tailored it to fit our budget as well. Our guide Emmanuel was just excellent! So knowledgeable, friendly and always happy. He knew every bird and animal! We had lovely, lengthy conversations about every topic under the sun and learnt so much about each other's lives and cultures. Our itinerary included Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Lade Ndutu (Southern Serengeti), Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater. All the lodges we stayed at were perfect in every way - food, rooms, service, surroundings. Our safari drives were amazing and we saw a mind boggling number of animals and birds! We were truly in wildlife paradise. We were pretty much the only people who had a 'hot lunch' every day of the safari while most tour companies only provided a boxed lunch to their guests. Emanuel would spread out the pretty Masai style table cloth and lay out all the dishes. There's usually wine provided at every lunch, but we chose beer (all included). Having a cold beer with lunch on a hot safari day is the absolute best! Our safari vehicle was always kept clean by Emanuel and it was well stocked with cold water (thanks to the mini fridge), juices and beer. There was a charging point to charge our cameras and phones too. In addition to the great service this company already provided, Helena went above and beyond to provide us with after-safari service as well! Our camera got damaged as I accidentally bumped the lens against the side of the car when our vehicle hit a ditch during a game drive. I am now in the process of submitting a claim to our insurance company and I had to get a letter about the incident. Helena once again rose to the occasion and promptly sent me a well drafted letter all within a a few hours of sending my request! Now that's what I call outstanding customer service!
All in all, we loved our experience and we will forever cherish all the beautiful memories we made in this beautiful country. Asante Sana Soul of Tanzania!

Great 9 day trip to Uganda with a focus on primates.
5/5

My friend and I took a 9 day tour with Africa Tours Adventure to Ziwa, Murchison, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Mgahinga, and Lake Mburo starting and ending in Entebbe in January 2019 using their budget accommodation option. Nicholas was very responsive over email was great about working our requests into the itinerary. My general starting idea was to do gorilla, chimpanzee, and golden monkey tracking, and he suggested several possible itineraries.

We both really enjoyed the trip. Our guide David was great; without him, we wouldn't have spotted nearly as many animals. The vehicle was also comfortable and had a removable roof for the game drives. We have no major complaints about any of the lodges, and they were generally nicer than we anticipated for being on the budget tour. One thing we liked was staying on the north side of the river in Murchison NP so we didn't need to queue for the early ferry on the morning of our game drive.

As for the tour activities themselves, we enjoyed all of the parks we visited, with the gorillas and chimps being the highlights. We thought it was worth going to Murchison as well as QENP; there seemed to be more animals there, and this detour allowed us to see rhinos (at Ziwa) and giraffes. Our short detour to Mburo was also worth it to see zebra and impala, which we didn't see elsewhere. We did an optional night walk in Kibale NP and enjoyed it, but the company's advice about it being hard to see animals was accurate. I think the only activity we didn't really enjoy was the a community walk that we did in the afternoon after driving to Bwindi from QENP. We enjoyed the Bigodi swamp and community walk near Kibale much more.

Some overall thoughts: Murchison and Queen Elizabeth didn't seem quite as good for traditional safari wildlife viewing as the parks I've been to in Kenya and Tanzania. However, the ability to combine that with the primates and other activities like boat rides was great. My friend who'd never been to Africa before was happy with the wildlife we saw, and we did have some really impressive sightings like a leopard at QENP. My friend commented that he was glad we went to Murchison for the giraffes and Lake Mburo even if only briefly for the zebras. My friend is also a birder and was really impressed with the number of species we saw.

Also, our schedule seemed to build in a lot of time for variable road conditions. It didn't rain except the last day for us, so the roads were generally decent. But I imagine some of the drives could be a lot longer if the roads were muddy.

Overall, Africa Tours Adventure did a great job of making this a fantastic trip.

My Family and I entrusted our Christmas holiday tour with this company and have no regrets at all. The team ensured that we got a five star treatment. We got a good special deal and the logistics team delivered a timely and money’s worth service.

Got all l needed for my(our) vacation
5/5

My husband and I started had this trip one month ago. We were mainly interested in chimps and gorilla trekking in Uganda since we were also visiting Rwanda.we chose Yaneta safaris because its itineraries and price. I exchanged numerous emails with Bracius on almost all aspects of logistics, itineraries, accommodations, transportation, adapter, vaccines... He is very responsive and patient. Initially I was concerned about wiring the money directly to the company before the trip, but I ended up wiring the whole cost at once and it worked fine. Our guide picked us up at the airport and everything were worry free from then on. He was calm, patient and professional. He is quick on finding the animals and answered all our questions. We visited Kibale for Chimp trekking, the trials were relatively flat and trekking was relatively easy and quick. We had very close encounter with chimps. The community walk in Kibale was also very nice. We saw many monkeys, birds and plants. Learned the process of making coffee, banana juice and tonic. The gorilla trekking in Bwindi was also perfect. It did not rain but the trail was steep in some area and a bit slippery. We had all the gears (water-proof hiking shoes, gaiters and gloves) so it was not bad at all. It was humid and warm. I guess we picked the easy gorilla family. We had a very close look at a silverback and his family, even caught two making love. The guide cleared the view with a machete. The lodges we stayed were nice, clean and often with a great view. The food was also very nice.We would highly recommend Yaneta safaris to anyone wishes to experience such a unique activity.Great job to yaneta safaris team

Exceeded all Expectations - Fantastic
5/5

Communication was prompt and extremely useful during the planning of our trip.
A personal trip to visit people prior to our safari was no problem for them to accommodate. Very flexible.
The Safari itself was just brilliant. John, our guide, driver and information expert was amazing. He accommodated all our extra requests with grace. e.g. can we visit Olduvia gorge, one more photo please, what information can you tell about??? No problem.
We saw animals so close up and in such numbers. He could spot animals we were not even aware of. Would recommend these people without hesitation if you want a memorable trip. Loved every minute.

UNFORGETTABLE TOUR WITH HONEST AND RELIABLE COMPANY
5/5

Right from the initial planning of my tour Justus was extremely attentive and prompt in responding to my emails, this gave me confidence and trust right from the beginning, I realized quickly I did not need to be the least bit worried about sending half the money to them in advance. He also helped with suggestions for me when I expressed my preferences and assisted me in a perfect Itinerary that met all our needs and we were completely happy with, could not have done anything better. Moses our tour guide was so patient, punctual, reliable, flexible and caring about all our needs and concerns. We would highly recommend Gorilla Bookings to anyone that asked us advice for a trip to Uganda. Uganda is an amazing country to visit, we have done lots of traveling in our life and Uganda is our favorite so far.
