GREAT SAFARI WITH AN EXCELLENT TEAM
Overall rating
5/5

Our family love Tanzania safari trip.
I work in Tanzania for 3 years now so,it was easy organizing my family safari trip in January while here.
We experienced safari trips in other countries in Africa. However, nothing compare to the safari experience we had with JIWE ADVENTURES in Tanzania - Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorogoro. The plan was excellent and the safari was well organized to the small details. The number and variety of animals seen cannot compare to any other Safari we had. Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, many elephants, the all BIG FIVE, many birds and many other animals. Serengeti especially is rich with animals. Any question or request was quickly and efficiency responded by JIWE ADVENTURES TEAM. Some of the nights we were on beautiful lodges and some of the nights we were in camping. JIWE tents and other stuff were great, the food from the chef was excellent. We asked to see the migration in north of Serengeti. CHRIS took this challenge. The drive to north Serengeti was long but it was worth as we saw thousands of animals migrating from Kenya to Serengeti – a special and magnificent phenomena!
I would like to thank CHRIS and JIWEADVENTURES team for an excellent and well organized experience. Excellent logistic team and the special atmosphere made our safari trip in Tanzania an unforgettable experience.

We had a 4 weeks honeymoon with Tailor made safari. Everything was perfectly arranged. Started from the first contact when still planning the holiday untill the last day of our stay.

Would definitely travel with them again in the future!

Wild Wings Safari plans our second fantastic safari vacation
5/5

Clare at wild Wings Safaris set up our second once-in-a-lifetime safari vacation. Once again, everything came together perfectly without any problems. Clare worked closely with us as we planned our safari trip. Her help and suggestions led to another fantastic safari vacation. This time we visited four camps in Botswana (Baines, Nxabega, and Little Kwara in the Okavango Delta and Lebala in the Kwando Reserve), spent three nights in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, then visited Little Makalolo in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park. All the camps were wonderful and together provided a great mix of experiences.

This was our first trip to Kenya. One of our best holidays ever! We would most definitely recommend Right Choice Tours & Safaris.
Kenyans are so welcoming & friendly. Always smiling!
The wildlife is like no other. We got up close & personal with the animals. In the 4x4, we toured Amboseli & Masai Mara. A wonderful experience!
The weather was warm, clear & sunny... what more can one want.
A brilliant way to see animals in their natural habitat.
We watched sunrise & sunset, beautiful & picturesque! We photographed animals with sunrise & sunset...a sight to behold! It’s forever imprinted in memory!
The accommodation was brilliant! Clean, excellent room service, friendly staff. Buffet meals three times a day, hot well prepared food, lots of choice! Just amazing!
Our safaris guides were brilliant! We had Emmanuel for Amboseli & he drove us around endlessly & patiently.
For Masai Mara we had Ruben, who was great. He was very well informed & took us around to all the spots. We’ve never seen so many beautiful animals before!
Other highlights- Balloon safari was a unique experience! We watched the sunrise & animals from above!
We spent half a day on boat safari on lake Naivashu, saw hippos, beautiful unique birds.. Anthony & Nick were great! We walked around crescent island with the herbivores... just amazing!
We spent an entire day in Hells gate! What an experience! We cycled for 20km, we hiked in the gorge, saw ‘devils bedroom’..... the hot springs... did rope climbing, scaled the highest point..
Joseph our guide for the day was brilliant...
Overall, a wonderful experience, many thanks to George from Right choice in putting together this amazing itinerary... a truly memorable trip...

We throughly enjoyed our tour. Our first day we saw lions hunt and kill a warthog. Throughout the trip our guide Simbo was excellent at spotting wildlife. We saw something new and different each day. Our tour was 5 days 4 nights but I could’ve easily spent a month or longer there is so much too see. The weather was perfect during our visit and I hope to go back soon!

Best trip of our lives
Overall rating
5/5

Our 12 day trip with Home to Africa was the best travel experience we have ever had. The trip planning with Elias was extremely efficient and he was quick and helpful with his responses. We were able to tailor our trip exactly as we wanted, including varying times of arrival and adding in a fishing trip for a couple of us. We originally planned a trip for 7 but 2 people had to cancel 30 days before and they were refunded appropriately according to the refund policy. The accommodations were fantastic but I should note that we upgraded them from the base accommodations (for a very reasonable price difference). In particular we really enjoyed the Marafiki Lodge, Arcadia Lodge, Isunga Lodge, and the 2 Friends Beach Hotel. We used a pop-up van which was very comfortable for 5 guests plus our driver and made it through some pretty rough roads without difficulty. Our guide, Derrick, was absolutely awesome. He fit in great with our group and we always wanted him to join us for meals and drinks so we could hang out more. He went above and beyond to help us try foods and pick up souvenirs that weren't readily available. When we stopped in crowded areas or were shopping he was always there acting in our best interest and looking out for us. Can't recommend him enough. The wildlife was fantastic. We had great experiences with the chimp trekking, where they sat on the ground with us for the entire hour, the gorilla trekking, and with the shoebill stork sighting. We also were able to get much closer to much of the wildlife than we expected and got some awesome photos. Our only disappointment was not seeing the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha but they had just done some burning there and the lions probably moved away for a short period of time. Certainly not the fault of the company. The food on the trip was way beyond what we expected. Every meal was fantastic, usually with multiple courses for dinner, and reasonably priced alcohol at the lodges. Considering how remote the lodges were, we were very surprised by how good and varied the food choices were. Staff at the lodges were all fantastic and with a much higher level of service than just about anywhere else we have traveled. One last piece of advice- make sure you stay at Arcadia Lodge on Lake Bunyonyi. I did not think there would be much of interest at the lake and almost wanted to cut it out of the itinerary but it ended up being one of the most mesmerizing views I have ever seen. But the beauty of the lake can only really be appreciated from the top of the mountain where Arcadia Lodge is located. Definitely worth the upgrade. I really can't say enough about our experience with Home to Africa. Everything was way beyond our expectations and for a very reasonable price compared to what many companies are offering.

Great safari experience

4/5

I went to Kenya with my boyfriend. We were supposed to go on a safari first, and then spend 10 days on the beach in Diani. We had booked a 6 day safari with Karibu Safari, which included Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. The last month before the trip, we had alot of contact with the safari agency. Robert answered all our questions quickly. We really appreciated that and it made us secure and informed. The plan was to be picked up at the airport in Nairobi as soon as we arrived, and start the safari the same day. Unfortunately our flight got delayed from Oslo, so we arrived one day later. When I contacted Karibu to reschedule the safari for the next day, the agency was really helpful.

The van we used was a bit run down, but the seats were comfortable. We were 6 people in the van in Masai Mara, plus the driver Aron. Thereafter we were 4 in the van, plus Aron. The roads are dusty and bumpy in many places, but Aron made us feel safe and well taken care off by him. Arony seemed to be a very experienced driver and he had much knowledge about the animals we saw, In Masai Mara we were very lucky and saw the big 5. Aron ensured that we got the best out of the game drives. We had plenty of time to take pictures. Aron was driving us as close to the animals as possible, and at the same time respecting them and their space. The wildlife in Masai Mara and Amboseli was amazing.

The only negative part was that the agency could not take us to Nakuru right after Masai Mara, as planned. They said that the reason was because of our flight delay and that they had to reschedule it this way. After Masai Mara we went to Amboseli. Karibu safari offered us to go to Nakuru afterwards or bring us back to Nairobi. The trip from Amboseli to Nakuru involves several more hours of driving than from Masai Mara, and we decided not to go there after all. Because of this, Karibu Safari gave us some money back. Allthough we were a bit disappointed, we appreciated the deal, and it seemed fair.

In Amboseli we stayed in tented camps where we had our own room with private bathroom. The standard is budget, but the camps in Masai Mara and Amboseli were okey. They served buffet for breakfast and dinner, and we were able to charge our cameras and phones. All in all; we had a great safari experience and will highly recommend Karibu Safari. Make sure you ask for Aron as a driver :)
