Greatest experience of my life.
Staff was great and the service was excellent. The guides know a lot about the park and the animals and the experience was educational as well as entertaining. The whole experience was great and a real bargain.

Thanks to all of you for arranging such a beautiful holiday. Special thanks to Athuman and mandi
I got immediate response to all my mails. Service was superb. The pilot Cum guide Mr. Athuman was beyond comparison. The food prepared by chef Mr mandi was tasty and his setting of tables was very nice. In every respect our safari was a great experience.

Exceptional communication and awesome driver and experience.
The communication from start to finish was exceptional with Chris working hard to make our experience unforgettable. Driver William took care of us and treated us so well. He is the best driver and it shows in how he treats you and he knows the Maasai Mara. I've been with William as driver 2x now and both have been above and beyond experiences. He ensured we saw the crossing and the Big 5. Thank you so much East Africa Safaris and I recommend them to anyone wanting a once in a lifetime experience.

Breathtaking experience!
I was in Arusha on a work trip and only had one free day at the end of the conference before flying back to Europe. One of my colleague, who himself was just back from a 2-day safari with Brian, recommended Ecological Wilderness Adventure so warmly that I did not hesitated too long. We booked the trip last minute but the organisation of the 24-hour safari was absolutely seamless. Brian came to pick us up at the hotel at the end of the day and drove us to The Acacai Farm Lodge in Karatu to spend the night. We were therefore able to enter the Ngorongoro National Park very early in the morning (around 7am) and be one of the first jeeps in the crater. Brian is a wonderful guide and a great person who made our safari an unforgettable moment. He has countless stories about the region wildlife, culture and history, and he’s such a good storyteller. I learned so much in 24 hours! We spent a good 7 hour inside the crater and then had to leave for the rather long drive to the airport (but always in Brian’s good company!). He even spare us Arusha’s vicious rush hour by taking a shortcut to the airport. The whole experience was breathtaking and I could not recommend Ecological Wilderness Adventure more.

Amazing Trip!
We had been trying to book a safari for about 4 weeks with a different company and they could not meet our needs. We contacted Maasai Wanderings to ask about their trips and within 48 hours, we had the trip we wanted and had paid our deposit! The entire experience was fantastic. Our guide met us the evening before we left on Safari to give us a briefing of the trip and to get us set up. This was impressive as he had to drive for about 40 minutes to the hotel we were staying in. Once we started the trip it was magical. We spent some days in the Serengeti and saw cheetahs hunting, lions hunting, a leopard every day and a group of 9 lions in a tree on our last evening. We even saw 2 rhinos! Our next safari will be with Maasi Wanderings for sure.

Wonderful experience
We decided to go with Savannah Explorers because we were impressed by their clear and effective e-mail communication. They were flexible in regard to dates, itinerary, accommodation and transfer, catering exactly to what we wanted. The driver/guide Nickson spoke good English and was very knowledgeable not only about the animals, birdlife and plants but he also shared general information, e.g. Education and daily life with us. Nickson was always friendly and polite and willing to accommodate our wishes as much as he could. Our vehicle, a sturdy Toyota Landcruiser with 400kon the clock, was reliable and Nickson managed the car well over bumpy roads. He had good knowledge of the area and we travelled less busy roads in the National Parks seeing animals at close distance - I only had a mobile phone camera and got excellent shots of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs etc. July is a great time to travel because you can see all the young animals. The accommodation was well appointed and what we liked most is that they were very distinctive from each other. The food in the hotels/lodges was enjoyable; just the lunch boxes should have offered more variety. Overall we highly recommend this company.

Wish I had longer!
Makasa was recommended to me by someone I had met on another trek earlier in the year. I did a bit of research on them, but mainly relied on this personal recommendation, and I'm glad I did. Makasa were great.
Selma was very helpful and responsive to my initial queries, and she organised my trip on only a few days notice.
I did the 6-day Machame Route climb of Mt Kilimanjaro. My guide (Godlove) was great - very professional. I was also really impressed with the food on the trek - it was always fresh, tasty and was something different every day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I then did a one day/one night safari in Tarangire National Park (again, organised by Selma very last minute). My guide was Frank, and he was very interesting, knowledgeable, professional and personable.
When I was not climbing or on safari, I stayed at MCF Kilimanjaro Lodge (in Moshi), which was very good value. The ladies who run it were very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic.

Amazing Safari Trip
Tanzania Explorer is a very professional accompany. I dealt with Sondra when booking the trip. He was always prompt in his replies and always gave every possible information needed. Once I told Sondra what I wanted he did everything for me..... very easy.
We did a 3day safari trip- a boat safari, a full day safari, a morning walking tour and another half day game trip. Rashid our safari guide was excellent. He was an expert at spotting the animals and very knowledgeable about each animals we saw. Was also very accommodating and friendly.
We stayed in Selous Kinga Lodge. This place went above and beyond our expectations. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our lodge was lovely, very spacious, very comfortable beds and brilliant views. Our room was cleaned everyday and our bed sheets were turned down each night which was lovely. The chef is amazing... the food was gorgeous each day. I am celiac and I have to say the chef was excellent at preparing specific meals for me... even making freshly baked bread each day... amazing chef.
Amazing trip... Tanzania explorer is the best safari company to book with.

Memorable experience
We booked a 11-day safari tour covering Kenya and Tanzania. We visited 6 parks / places - Amboseli, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha.
Right from the first time I contacted Noah through this website, he was very prompt in responding to my e-mails and accommodated changes in itinerary. I planned the itinerary and Noah arranged all the hotel bookings, airport transfers, transfer between the locations and game drives. The trip was organized really well by Noah - no last minute surprises, minimal waiting time between transfers, clean and well-maintained cars, he even managed to get rooms as per my preference.
Hamza was our guide in Tanzania. He knew the parks very well, very friendly, always on time for safaris (infact, we were the ones always late). He told us a lot of interesting information not only about the animals in the park, but also about the countryside in Tanzania.
In kenya, Dennis was our guide for 5 days. Knowledgeable and friendly, but what we appreciated the most is his enthusiasm. He really went out of the way to ensure that we get to see all the wild animals that we wanted to. He continuously co-ordinated with other guides in the park to ensure maximum wildlife sightings in the time available to us. We managed to see big 5, mara river crossing, crocodiles, wildebeest migration, numerous birds and even the elusive rhino. We really can't thank him enough for his assistance.
Thanks to wildebeest safaris for making this trip memorable for us. I highly recommend wildebeest to anyone planning an East African safari.
