Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Maulik Nathavani
Massive crater. Looks like a plain grassland from above. But once inside it, it has a variety of animals and birds. Must watch is the Rhino and the Flamingoes.

Amazing to see the animals in wild, in their natural habitat !
Serengeti is one of world's renowned National Park for maintaining its Natural habitat. As a first time goer to Africa, i would say Serengeti kept up to its name. Quite lucky to witness big five and many other animals and birds. As a enthusiast photographer, I would say it is a brilliant opportunity if one wants to picture wildlife.

Unforgettable experience
Excellent company, David took care of every small detail and special requests i had (vegetarian food for example). We had a very professional guide that answered all our questions and knew exactly where to take us, and thanks to that we saw all the big 5 (thank you Ziggy).

Dependable, Highly Qualified, Professional, Friendly Tour Operator
We had a fantastic time with Gecko tours. Several colleagues and I were headed to Tanzania for a conference and wanted to do a small safari ahead of time. Gecko was easy to work with and helped us develop a great itinerary that fit our needs, even though these changed a bit during the booking process. Said, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. He has a wealth of information, was incredibly well prepared at all times, and was simply a pleasure to spend time with. We all also deeply appreciated how respectful of the animals he was. We saw several other tour operators invade animals' space (once even driving buffalo away from the watering hole) and be too aggressive trying to get too close but Said never did this. Instead, he had a knack for knowing where they would go if we just sat still and were quiet for a few minutes. We could not have asked for anything more than Gecko provided and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Loved every minute!
We started out at the White Sands Villas and Spa in Paje beach on Zanzibar which is beyond beautiful. It just opened in two years ago and the grounds are spectacular and the rooms are really small compounds with two buildings, a private pool and private garden that opens on to the beach. It was the perfect place to relax and get used to the time zone change.
. The reserve was amazing and had many different landscapes which made you feel like you were exploring a number of different reserves, rather than just one.
All our lodges were great and the whole trip went smoothly and according to plan. We would definitely visit here again!

A perfectly planned and executed trip.
We met representatives of Zambezi last year at a travel show and were impressed with their knowledge of the area and their willingness to tailor a trip to our needs. We dealt with Liz who was great to work with. She was flexible and responsive. We ended up with a trip that was exactly what we wanted. We had a safari at Chobe in Botswana which was a great introduction. We finished with 3 wonderful days on Safari at Thornybush. We had the same guide all 3 days and he was wonderful. The whole trip was great and we would highly recommend Liz and Zambezi. The trip exceeded our expectations.

Brilliant Uganda
Chalo Africa organized exactly the trip we desired. There was quite a bit of driving, but that was by our request. We started by visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Center - UWEC - a great introduction. We were quite awake after arriving despite the long journey. The first day involved birding on Lake Victoria and Mabamba Swamp. Fantastic. Shoebill and many others. Water lillies. Then days of chimp trekking and gorilla trekking. The walks were a bit strenuous but very satisfying. Everyone should have an understanding of these proud, intelligent creatures. We also had a wonderful wildlife drives with elephants, lions, hyenas, cape buffalo, zebras.... We were taught a great deal about botany, butterflies, birds, plant medicine, cultural life of Ugandans, as well as animal behavior. I really loved all the places we stayed but particularly the rustic ones. I would not hesitate to go again.
