Welcoming with knowledgeable guides where we felt safe at all times when on Safari
We traveled to the Ngorogoro Crater where there is an abundance of wildlife in a great setting, all within the confines of the crater. The guides were knowledgeable and used a two way radio system to relay details on sightings so we got maximum benefit in directing us to where animals were located.

Out of Africa Wildlife beauty
Going to Kenya on Safari is a must if you love to see animals in the wild. I visited the Masai Mara which to me was worth it- I was able to see most animals except for the Rhino and the Lion. I saw several Lionesses but not a Lion. Seeing the animals in the vast expansion of the park was priceless. We also drove to the border of Tanzania and along the Mara river where we saw Hippos and Crocs just hanging out. The final visit was Lake Nakuru where I was lucky to see both the white and black Rhino but I do not recommend this stop. It feels more like a drive-in Zoo, its a much smaller park and you do not get the sense of vastness as in Masai Mara. You can still see many giraffes, Zebras and war hogs but in comparison to Masai Mara not worth it. The lake is also far and the flamingos you don't really see. On safari the packed lunches and picnics are disappointing, wether low or mid-range budget. This is for sure an aspect they need to improve. We had some vehicles problems that delayer our trip considerably but the tour operator managed to get us to our destination by hopping on other tours.
The people in the country were very nice and welcoming. There is a good food scene in Nairobi with lots of modern fusions and foodie places to explore. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Karen Blixen museum having read the book and seeing the movie I wanted to visit the site. There are many areas in Nairobi where you can shop and mingle with the locals, we did not feel unsafe at any moment and found everyone very kind.

Review about Kruger National Park by Stefano
Huge and majestic, with a variety of landscapes and vegetation and abundant wildlife. A very popular destination, so you are seldom alone close to dams, wells or open savana. It is better where vegetation is thicker, or in the less accessible north section, but the chance of spotting animals is limited. Accomodations are for all sakes and pockets

Review about Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park by Stefano
Less crowded than other parks, as it is not so easily accessible; so you feel more frequently in the bush than in other places. Landscapes are particular as it is a semi desertic dry savana; wildlife is abundant but road network is limited

Review about Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve by Stefano
Very nice park with plenty of wildlife, rhinos in particular. As there are not so many roads, and vegetation is often thick, spotting animals is not so easy, but this increase the taste for searching and tracking.

Review about Golden Gate Highlands National Park by Stefano
A mountain park to be visited for the scenary and for hiking; these are gorgeous and absolutely an experience to be done. It is not a bush experience but for sure a full immersion in another kind of nature, majestic and overwhelming

Beautiful country, specially the area close to DRC / Rwanda, lots of mountains and volcanoes
Really like uganda. We have travelled 1,5 years through about 40 different african countries.
Highlight were seeing the gorillas in Bwindi NP ($700 permit, around 850 through an agency with transport) and the chimps in Kalinzu ($40pp).
We’ve been to Murchinson NP but after seeing a lot of national parks, this is not a highlight. The rivercruise doesn’t bring you close to the waterfall and the boat stays to far from the shore to see much. The hike to the waterfalls is nice.
We didn’t go to queen elizabeth national park, was too expensive for us $150 in our overlandtruck.
Very nice people, different sceneries, great campsites (see I overlander app)

Good value for money with human touch
Msafiri organised for us a very nice trip to off main stream destinations, great value for money. Organization was not spotless but Leila took over and very well managed the little issues we encountered which is what you expect from a tour operator and even more in Africa. We very much enjoyed our holidays
Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Justin
Good, but very crowded with other jeeps. Didn't feel as 'wild' as the serengeti. This park was nice but didn't quite live up to our expectations.

Review about Okavango Delta by France and Roger
although it is very busy with tourists in private cars, the Delta is still quite and beautiful. Saw as many animals both trips.
