I could not have imagined a better company with better tourguides
5/5

Traveling to Uganda? This is why you should consider Cul Tours!

I have been travelling a lot as a backpacker, I aim for the real, cultural and local experience. In a country like Uganda you need a "key" to enter these local experiences and get heart to heart with the people and their culture, and for me, this key was Cul Tours. I have never met a guide, let me say human being, that was so eager to provide the ultimate customer service, so caring and flexible to my wants and needs!

Communication is straight forward and fast, the company is run by Ugandans. It's definitely possible to stitch together a tour that suits you with the things you find most interesting - on a side-note I recommend to discuss with them and listen to their recommendations, they really do have vast knowledge of Uganda.

I asked for local, I got local! They took me to dance in a village, had me taste all the wondrous and peculiar foods, took me hiking in Sipi Falls and Mount Elgon - dined with a local family, drank locally brewed traditional beer (was even offered the full ceremony including circumcision, but humbly turned down the offer). Walked through a fishing community, tasted their dried fish and embraced all the curious and excited children that rarely see white people... I slept in clay and straw huts, they're fantastic to sleep in because they're cool in the nights.

I visited orphanages, there's a particular one in the West Nile Region in Koboko at the border of South Sudan and Congo that stole my heart.

I also went for the safaris, and they are as you might expect if you've watched National Geographic, Animal Planet etc., amazing experience - though you do see many tourists, you don't see them much when on the actual safaris and it doesn't feel crowded, unless it's the boat safari.

When it comes to expectations, I must say they were not only met but exceeded. There are other, larger companies in Uganda but the word goes they're too mainstream and boring, with Cul Tours you'll be sure to be in for an extraordinary experience.

I'll visit Uganda again, and I'll ask for Cul Tours' guide Stephen - the most sympathetic, understanding and smiling man of Uganda.

Love, Martin

Amazing safari week by BeaconSafaris visiting Masai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli, West and East Tsavo. High class driver/guide, pleasant true luxury accommodation in lodges inside parks. No words about nature and wildlife-only senses and emotions. Attractive 1week stay on ocean cost in Miami Beach.

Game drives are amazing, fascinating and unforgettable adventures.
Overall rating
5/5

The game drives are amazing, fascinating and unforgettable adventure, mainly the early safaris, where beyond the wild life you can appreciate a sunset. Kruger’s park is fabulous and absolutely, beautiful.
I would like to highlight that beyond safari, I travelled to different places in Africa, such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, Garden Route and in all of them, I spent amazing time. A very kind and friendly people, very good food, good wines and very professional services. Because, I was alone my trip in the Garden Route was with Baz Bus. It was awesome. I would like to point out profissional andfriendly services of Baz Bus drivers. In additon, I had an oportunity to meet and talk to people from different countries. Baz Bus is an excellent option to know the Garden Route, mainly if you are alone or do not rent a car. Travelling around South Africa was an amazing and unforgettable experience. I hope to visit Africa again in a near future. I DO RECOMMEND.

A negative point of my trip was that a guide (MMILO TOURS) who I have not known because each game drive safari was with a different guide, simply let me waiting for him or her from 3:00 H in the morning until almost 5:00 and did not come to pick me up for my last booked safari. It was a disappointing, disagreeable and frustrating experience. It was my last chance to see leopard that is mainly a nocturnal in habit. Later, I knew that it happens with a certain frequency with this tour agency
PLEASE, BE AWARE OF THE TOUR AGENCY WE CONTRACT TO AVOID DISAGREABLE SURPRISES IN YOUR SAFARIS.

Stephen the founder of Cul Tours, simply the best!!!
5/5

A few years ago we've met Stephen on the fair in Belgium, he was a guide for Matoke, he persueded us to come to Uganda. Once we were in that beautiful country we saw Stephen several times, always friendly and ready to listen. The people who he was guiding were very satisfied with him. Now he has his own compagnie Cul Tours and Safaris, and I'm shore he is the best guide you can have! When we go again to Uganda we will definitely go with him!

About: Tanzania
Absolutely awesome family vacation
Overall rating
5/5

Great family vacation enjoying 10 days in Tanzania. Met at the airport by the owner of the safari tour group Fresh Mood Treks to help settle us in for a short stay for Christmas in Dar es Salaam . Then off for for a 5 day safari to Selous and Mikumi reserves. Our Fresh Mood Treks driver/guide, Ezikel was awesome- on time for every aspect of the trip, safe on the roads and he always took the extra time to make sure we were settled in at the camp where we stayed at the end of the day. Both game parks were excellent- Selous with heavier bush cover where we were up close to plenty of giraffe , elephant, baboon, impala and the on Rufiji River ride able to enjoy Hippos and Crocs. Mikumi was more open and filled w/ giraffe, elephants, zebra, baboon, warthog, hyena, eland, hippo, a great family of lions only a few feet from the road. - and some how Ezikel our guide was able to find us a leopard in a tree from a few hundred yards away! Fresh Mood Trek overall a great choice .
We spent the last few days on Zanzibar at the Maru Maru hotel- if you want to stay in town this is the place to stay! Great in town location- comfortable, great breakfast on rooftop every morning and great service.

I would like my friend to experience the great Africa travel because he had not been to Africa ever.
My tour guide, Elvis was always kind and taught us Namibian knowledge.
I thought my friend really enjoyed Africa because of Elvis's guide!
I really appreciate his kindness. Thank you.

About: Go2Africa
Great Guidance and Support
5/5

Go2Africa provided excellent service and advice from beginning to end and allow us to fully participate and customize our trip. We're seasoned travelers so we weren't looking for packaged tours, just help where we needed it. The most important advice, as it turned out, was to buy full insurance on our car rental. I did some minor damage to the car backing into a parking space and the experience was really a "no worries" situation when I returned the car in Cape Town. No cost and less than 5 minutes of paperwork. I'm sure this would not have been the case had I not taken the insurance.
