Fantastic trip and memorable experience
5/5

My husband and I climbed Kilimanjaro followed by safari (camping) in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Excellent organisation by Imran who made sure out itinerary was well organised and met all of our needs. He was quick to respond to our queries before the trip and ensured we were well taken care of every step of the way. The guides were very experienced and knowledgable and made us feel very warm and welcome.
We have no complaints and would highly suggest this company to everyone planning a trip out there.
Thank you Safari Big 5 for the amazing and unforgettable experience!!!

About: Tanzania
The most incredible life-changing natural experience to date.

Our guide (Mussa from Roam Serengeti Safaris) was outstanding and knew the animals and land exceptionally well. We saw everything we went to see and more. We couldn't have been happier with the friendliness of the local people everywhere we went. Everything was inexpensive (even though there is the occasional overcharge for foreigners if you're unprepared) and the food was easily some of the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. I am only a week removed from being in Tanzania and my heart aches to go back ASAP, above some pretty amazing other places I've been (Costa Rica, Brazil, Switzerland). I could not have asked for more in terms of adventure and genuine hospitality. Can't wait to return.

3 day Safari Tarangire, Ngorondoro and L.Manyara
5/5

Was a great 3 days experience of our 1st Safari ever. I recomend this agency if you want to do a Safari with best price quality. The Director, Michael was very very nice since 1st contact by Safaribookings and manage a Safari on dates and places that we wont. He picked us up on Airport, leave us on Hotel that was include on price (Very nice hotel, clean and friendly) and every time he was making sure that everthing was ok with us. Then on next day our guide and motorist (Denis) picked us up on hotel and the adventure started. We learned many things about the country and animals with Denis. We stayed on a campsite out of the parks, where the managers were very friendly also. we were on fullboard meals and the cook on campsite was very good. Taragire has many Elephants, Ngorondoro is amanzing (a place to see the Big 5) and lake Manyara is also nice but we couldnt saw the tree climbing lions on that day. We loved this Safari. Next time we will go to Serengeti.

About: Kenya
Breathtaking views and wildlife sightings - one of the best experiences of my life!

I booked a 3 day, 2 night safari in the Maasai Mara for myself, my husband and two friends to travel in late December. All staff members were very helpful and informative, from Alex who answered all my questions via email, to Joseph who transported us from Nairobi to Naroc and told us lots of interesting facts along the way. We were collected in Naroc by Evans in a 4x4 Land Cruiser (definitely choose that option when booking - you won't regret it!) and enjoyed the beautiful and bumpy ride to the Maasai Mara. We went on an afternoon/evening game drive, then were taken back to our accommodation, Sopa Lodge, for a delicious buffet-style evening meal. As we walked back to our bungalows for the night, our security guard told us to stop and listen - in the forest surrounding our lodge was a family of elephants eating trees and bushes! We couldn't see them as it was so dark, but listening to them eating, breathing and communicating was magical. We were up early the next morning for a full day in the park, and were lucky enough to see the Big 5, as well as lots of other animals such as cheetahs, hippos, ostriches, zebras, giraffes, jackals etc. Evans was a fantastic guide, and made sure we were successful in finding even the most elusive of animals such as a leopard and a black rhino. We had fantastic weather throughout our trip, and loved having a chance to have a picnic on the plains of the Maasai Mara! Thank you to everyone involved in making our holiday one of the best experiences of our lives!

Tanzania is absolutely beautiful. We saw many, many animals while on safari. We booked our trip through African Paradise Safaris. Everything was coordinated perfectly through them. Our guide, Frank was amazing. He taught us so much about the animals, the people of Tanzania, and the country itself. We highly recommend APS. Be sure to request Frank as your guide.

Unforgettable. Great guides and great accommodations.
5/5

The guides - William and Jerrod - are to be singled out as amazing. Kili is not an easy hike. It is important to have someone set your pace and make the experience fun. William was awesome. Pole ! Pole! And no one can match the skills of Jerrod (Gerald?) as he with a hawk's eye and the knowledge of wildlife entertained, identified and taught about nature. Absolutely undescribable. especially as I download and view 1500 photos. The places in Zanzibar were out of his world. And Ras Nungwi and the hut I stayed in set the bar for the best hospitality and comfort I can remember. Not to mention the sashimi.
To die for. As well as snorkeling with the dolphins.

First safari was an amazing experience

Our guide Captain was amazing (we could definitely see why he got that nickname). He was so knowledgeable about the animals and the park itself and always seemed to be first on the scene when there was a lion or leopard in sight. We felt very safe knowing he was in charge.
We did have torrential rain on our first day which made a very cold afternoon but on the plus side it brought out all the termites so there were lots of wildlife out feeding.
The camping facilities were great, fully waterproof/good quality tents and the food was delicious.
The tour was run well and professional although the additional boat cruise on the last day was not really necessary for us as we didn't really get to see anything (that of course depends on the day as you never know what you see!).

A perfect holiday!

5/5

This was one of the most perfect holidays we had so far with our family. We've seen so many wildlife, the big five, beautiful birds and the scenery was just lovely. Our guide was very professional but built a quick and great relationship with the whole family. He went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and we always felt save. Highlights - definitely the hot air balloon ride with a fantastic champagne breakfast over the Masai Mara and then Kilimanjaro ! We were very impressed with all the lodges but the favourite was Osero Lodge - tents were beautiful, staff GREAT! Next time we would stay in tents every where! Kenya will definitely see ua again AND we shall choose "Kenya Walking Safaris" again!
