Outstanding Safari with Joe
5/5

We just concluded a safari organized by Joe and he did an awesome job at putting the whole thing together.
We were accompanied by Kaka Karim our guide who pointed us to all the animals along the way! We saw all the big five almost every day :D Had close encounters (like less than a meter!) with a pride of Lions, Elephants, Giraffes and Leopards!!!! We even managed to track down a Rhino and its baby and it tried to charge us! It was like being on a Nat Geo episode!
We also had SnoopDog (habib) the cook had delicious meals prepared for us all the time! Make sure you have him make you his beef stew with plantains! Amazing!
We were a group of 6 with very different schedules and plans (some went to do horseback riding etc...) but Joe juggled it all very well.
A great trip all in all and highly recommended!!!

Amazing Africa From the Southern Dunes to the Wilds of Etosha: Kids and Adults loved it!
5/5

Book with Nature Travel and you will be amazed by the level of customer service, lodging options, transportation, and expertise of the staff including Nick and Jakes, our guides for this adventure. If time and money were no issue, we'd leave tomorrow and do the entire trip all over again. We had a wonderful time, learned so much, saw this beautiful country, and made a lifetime of memories. We can't say enough positive things about the entire experience. We took the 8 night tour.

Transportation: We opted for the van which worked out for us perfectly. It gave us the space to spread out and not be crowded, at all. The amount of driving was fine, even though we did a lot of it, and we wouldn't have changed any of our stops. We managed to do all the traveling without leaving too early in the morning, and always got to our destination before dark.

Lodging: outstanding across the board, starting with the Belvedere Hotel in Windhoek. It was nice having time there to enjoy their facilities. The lodges were top notch and we enjoyed staying so close to the beauty, sights. Our rooms at the NWR in the park were so close to the watering hole making animal sighting ideal. Staying at the Mushara just outside the park on the last night was especially nice. They have the attention to details down to a science, including the hot water bottle. Each
place had something special and we would recommend them all. We didn't miss tv or the lack of wifi at some of the places. We also liked the guesthouse in Swakopmund. As I said, they were all good.

Food: the lodges provided great meals and we didn't have any complains, except we ate a lot and gained weight, luckily no one had scales. The stops at Solitaire were also nice. Jakes ensured we had plenty of water and in the day we were delayed because of sand, he had us pick up lunch to go. All good.

Sights: really perfect itinerary with the number of days we had. We wouldn't have wanted to miss anything. The kids loved the dune buggies, safari outings, and we found the dunes breathtaking, the living museum informative, the rock engravings interesting, and Etosha to be outstanding. Really everything was outstanding. At ages 12 and 14, it was just the right mixture of activities. Some
people might not want as much driving, we did about 2400km, but none of us got bored or tired of the scenery. Jakes gave us plenty of time to take pictures and explore and had a good sense of timing and when we needed to get moving- like getting away from the dunes right before the sand whipped up so much it would have been miserable. The tour at the Desert lodge on our first afternoon was also great. I took over 3000 pictures and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. You did a great job putting this itinerary together and we will definitely recommend you to friends. Going to Vic Falls first worked out well. We loved being in Africa and the kids remarked how fast the time went.
Thank you Nature Travel - you deserve the five stars plus more.

Excellent budget choice
5/5

Mike is very communicative and responds quickly to emails. Elias (guide) was excellent, lovely, knowledgable and friendly! We had a great experience with Northern Circuit. Great choice of camp in the Serengeti as it was well located and reduced long driving time each day. Good, hearty food and comfortable vehicle.

We enjoyed 10 days in Uganda
4/5

I would like to recommend Travel Explore Africa as well! We spent 10 days with them going on gorilla safari. It was very well organized and all the staff members were very professional, making sure all the questions and queries were responded in the most professional way. I really liked Diana, I delt with her when making the bookings via e-mails, lovely and very cheerful lady! Thank you so much Sweetie Diana! JJJ

Excellent staff and service
5/5

My boyfriend and I spend 10 days in Tanzania visiting Tarangire Park, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro Crater  and Serengeti Park. We slep in a medium tended camp and tree nights in a lodge, everithing was really nice, with a traditional goodfoood and confortable accomodation. Our guide Geremy and our driver Godfrey (Gody) were really kind with us and they take care of us in all safari tour. We see a lot of animals and the jeep never give a problems. The Bestday safsri choise for us was the best one because was the most cheap safari that we checked on web with I high quality. The boss (Peter) of safari agency is a really honest and serious person that love is job.

Five Star Experience
5/5

I'm the husband of Kerstin Lehnert who wrote a review, and I want to confirm my agreement with everything she wrote. We are both geological researchers with a lot of outdoor experience all over the world and high standards. This was a great experience by a great company. Peter went out of his way to help us, even organizing a tour of Arusha on the day we arrived, and Godfrey was an excellent and knowledgeable guide through the trip. I look forward to going back to Tanzania and using Bestday Safari again.

Our dream come true
5/5

We did a 5 day safari with Oltumure Safari in June for our honeymoon. We would book with Robert again any time! He offered a perfect service from the very start (answered all our questions before with a lot of patience) until the end of the tour. He even came back into our hotel after the safari to see whether everything went well and we were happy with the tour. We visited 3 National Parks on our trip and enjoyed every single one of them. We were only two people on the tour although we booked the standard tour (which is usually for up to 4 people). The car was in good condition. Our guide was Victor for the tour and we couldn't have had a better guide. He always knew where to look for hidden animals, he shared his vast knowledge of african wildlife and we always felt save at his side. He even managed to find a campground were we stayed on our own with all sorts of animals around. Amazing feeling! The tents were new and big enough to nearly stand and with "windows" to every side which you can choose to open or close (including a mosquito protection). We enjoyed to be on a very individual tour - we also saw companies who had several cars which followed each other. For us it was a perfect honeymoon experience, thanks Robert!

Amazing Trips to Africa
5/5

Aardvark Safaris planned two, three week safari trips for my family; one in the summer of 2010 to Zambia and Malawi, and the second in the summer of 2012 to Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Both trips were lovely and stress free. Aardvark Safaris is able to suggest the best trip itinerary based on your likes and dislikes, and they are there with you every step of the way to help you pack and give you insider tips about each place you are visiting. Not only did John and Victoria make it easy for us to navigate what could have potentially been a cumbersome and stressful trip, they made it relaxing and fun way to spend time with my family. They knew exactly the right combination of fun, intense safari activities and relaxing and lazing about, starting each trip with activities such as canoeing down the Zambezi or animal spotting in the Serengeti and ending each trip on a picturesque beach where we could snorkel and have beautifully arranged picnics on secluded beaches. All the camps and facilities were beautiful, and the staff and guides were kind, helpful, and eager to do anything that could improve our trip. Overall, Aardvark Safaris has helped my family find a deep love for Africa and we cannot wait to plan another trip!

Wildbeest Migration the Masai Mara follwed by summiting Kilimanjaro
5/5

Had a chance to evaluate many Safari and Africa trekking companies and went with Aardvark. Was not at all disappointed. The service was great and for a first timer visiting Africa they helped in arranging all the necessary details. The Safari camps we stayed in were unique and beautiful, much better than the run of the mill super tourist accommodations you often see with other companies. Our Kilimanjaro climb was amazing. The guides particularly were extraordinary and helped our entire group reach the summit. During our trip we saw many second rate outfits making us glad we chose a great travel adventure company. Our family plans to go on another Safari and we will use Aardvark again. I would recommend talking with John at Aardvark as he was very helpful as we were narrowing our choice of Safari company to go with.
