Day trip Nairobi National park
5/5

All in all a great trip, if i little over price. But the driver and guide Giveja (Steve) was really passionate about his wildlife and extremely knowledgable. Not only that, he was really personable and just a top bloke, so for that reason a great trip.

Although if you get the chance try and go to a bigger national park far from the city as I think it will give you greater character, variety and adventure.

Thanks

Everything but a Unicordn
5/5

We stayed at Jock Safari Lodge for our trip to Kruger National Park and that decision made all of the difference. The facilities were wonderful, the staff was outstanding, and our ranger (Jacob) was so amazing that we jokingly asked if he would be showing us a unicorn - since he'd already shown us the Big Five, the Ugly Five plus many other things everyday that we were there it made sense to think he could find a mythical animal too.
The days involve a 5am wake-up call, 5:30am coffee, and out on a drive in the dark to look for absolutely amazing animals. Then breakfast - lunch - tea and an evening drive before dinner. Read the reviews that talk about chilly mornings and evenings and plan accordingly based on time of year.
Our 4 day/3 night stay was just about right. The size of the lodge (12 luxury huts) limits what you can do between drives. The rangers do a great job of communicating where the animals are so no two days were alike.
We worked through a broker for Kruger accommodations and he was thrilled that this property was available for us - we were thrilled as well

4/5

We had a very nice time on our safari. East African & Touring company offers a very friendly and trustfull service. They look what they can offer for every budget. Our guide took the time for visiting the park and let us look to the animals how long we wanted. They have very nice accomodation, nature friendly and relaxing! We had the best dinners ever! What a great time! :)

More than expected
5/5

Recently, my wife and I experienced the most wonderful of adventures in South Africa thanks to Greatest Africa and their Senior Travel Consultant Vanessa Walker. Due to our work constraints, we had to arrange this trip at the last moment with little research. Fortunately, we found Greatest Africa and Vanessa. Vanessa quickly put a package together focusing on our desire to see as much safari wildlife as possible. She expertly arranged stays at three game preserves and all transportation within South Africa. Things went so smoothly other than trying to remember what day it was (we quickly lost all sense of time), we had nothing to concern ourselves with other than enjoying the experience. The preserves were beyond our expectations. Wonderful accommodations, wonderful food, wonderful people and of course wonderful wildlife. If you are fortunate enough to be considering a trip to this wonderful country, we don't believe you could do any better than working with Greatest Africa and Vanessa.

It was all we hoped for and better!
5/5

My wife and I decided to go to Tanzania for our honeymoon; mainly for the beautiful beaches in Zanzibar but also for a safari in the 'mainland'. Gombe interested us right off the bat because the price seemed the most reasonable.

The company turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We landed in Dar and two people were there to receive us. And from then on till the end of the safari everything was taken care of. our transport, our meals, our rooms, our game drives. Everything.

The accommodation was inside Mikumi National Park. nice, neat rooms close to the wildlife. We had regular visits in the room area from animals such as baboons and even a hhuge elephant. It was awesome.

Some people are saying that they didnt like the food. But we had no issue. Our guide, Alfons (a great guy, btw), took us to some good places and we ordered whatever we wanted ti eat; no limitations. Tried a couple of local dishes as well and they were great. Do try their fish and a sauce called 'chachando sauce', which is rare but if you find it, its amazing.

The safari itself was great. We saw a lot of animals. Zebras, giraffes, wildebeasts, warthogs, alligators, hippos and even a couple of lions at the end! And these aren't all that we saw!

A final word about our guide, Alfons. Amazing guy. Really knows what he does, knows the parks, the animals and even other parts of tanzania and tells some great stories. Also has a good sense of humour. Even when we drove for hours looking for lions we didn't feel bored for a single second. It was an awesome experience. Thank you, Alfons! We willn request the same guide of we go again.

Great adventure despite perfect organisation
5/5

10 days across the highlights of Uganda was a fantastic experience and felt like an adventure even though the organization was perfect. Our guide was knowledgable, an excellent driver and very friendly. I would recommend to book a Uganda trip to anybody who wants to see Africa off the beaten track.
