About: Tanzania
An extra ordinary visit with amazing nature and wildlife!
Overall rating
5/5

We are wet happy with our trip. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect. Good camp and food. The different activities were perfect. So peaceful to watch the sunset on the river with hippos and crocodiles just beside. The game drive was amazing and we saw so many species and had some extra ordinary moments when our guide found some more remote places with animals. We saw lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, hyena, African Wilddog, hippos and many different types of antiloups.
The walking tour was a good way to feel the nature and the smaller animals.

We are so happy with our journey!

Africa Adventure Safaris was the perfect choice for the visiting the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda
5/5

I contacted Africa Adventure Safaris (DBA Rwanda Gorilla Tour) and two other more familiar tour companies to see what type of tours were available to see the gorillas in Rwanda and what the cost would be. Africa Adventure was the most flexible and was also less expensive than the other 2 companies. I eventually booked a 4 day 3 night tour with them and requested that they purchase a 2 day pass for me to go on gorilla trek. Because i was traveling alone i was somewhat concerned about whether a guide would actually show up at the Kigali, Rwanda airport to meet me and what it would be like depending on a complete stranger for 4 days. There was no need for concern. Enos was waiting for me when i arrived and made me immediately comfortable. By the end of the trip i was relying totally on him. He kept track of my camera, my backpack and sometimes even my passport. It was like traveling with a friend. He was always prompt to pick me up for the gorilla treks and where ever else we were going. It was nice not being with a group. The staff at my hotel was very friendly and were always quick to help out if something was needed. There were a wide variety of menu choices and i enjoyed everything i tried. After talking to other people that i met on the trek i think i would have preferred staying at a Lodge rather than a hotel but i spent very little actually hanging around at the hotel so it really didn't make a big difference - plus i know that the Lodges cost more.
The entire trip was smooth and relaxed. Other than the scheduled treks it was up to me to decide how i wanted to spend my free time and Enos was always there to accompany me. I recommend them and in fact have already given their information to two people who are interested in seeing the gorillas.

Everyday was Absolutely Awesome!
5/5

Ute Sonnenberg from Roho Ya Chui is amazing! Each and every day of our trip was awesome.

The airport pickups/transfers were on time, courteous, and professional.
The accommodations were in prime locations, and were absolutely gorgeous with great staff.
The activities that she helped us plan were incredible. Each of our activities was booked with a top-notch operator. Our expectations were blown away.

If you're thinking of going on a safari to Africa, want to explore Cape Town, or have always wanted to visit Victoria Falls - do yourself a favor and book it through Ute Sonnenberg at Roho Ya Chui.

This trip couldn't have gone smoother.

We couldn't be happier.

Seriously... stop reading this, and book your trip!

Life-time memories
5/5

Climbing Kilimanjaro was so far the trip that took a lot of time from me for research. I was so overwhelmed with the amount of information that I could find on the TripAdvisor. At times I felt so lost and didnt really know which route to take, which operator to choose etc... I was tempted to go with a foreign operator, thinking that I would not have to worry too much and my trip with them could mean stress free. However, as I kept reading and being a person working in the development field all my life, I finally made a conscious decision to go with a local company. There are good local companies and I contacted a number of them and had pleasant experiences with them. However, the final decision to go with Kilimajaro Brothers is simply that the owner George used to be a porter. I contacted George on 30 Aug and luckily they had a climb that fit my scheduled leave. George and his team are always very quick in responding to my inquiries. I also planned to go for safari after the climb but only made the final decision once I was in Moshi after meeting with George and had the first real/actual feeling about them. All in all, both the 7 day Lemosho climb and 6 day safari were so memorable and I truly enjoyed my time there. My guide Andrew and guide assistance Jackson are so great, without them I would not be able to make to the top on the Summit night. They were always by our side, encouraged us to go, extremely patient as I was so tired that my pace was even slower than pole pole! I was not prepared mentally that the Summit night could be that hard and I wondered if all I read on TripAdvisor was somewhat downplayed! Anyway, I was very happy that I did my climb with Kili Bros. My safari was equally interesting. I had a very experienced and knowledgeable guide who was my companion in Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Serengeti. I know that Kili Bros is a new company and needs a lot of support from us the tourists and I have no hesitation to recommend them to you.

About: Mozambique
road to the Indian Ocean
Overall rating
4/5

MY trip to Mozambique is actually the end of a trip that started in Zambia and after crossing this country and Malawi, I reached the Mozambique border to cross the country from west to east until I reached the Indian Ocean. Mozambique is not a country that stands out for its wild fauna, greatly diminished by the effects of the civil war suffered by the country. The best parks are located in the state that border the borders of South Africa and Zimbabwe. But if it is endowed with a great scenic beauty, with extensive wooded plains on which protrude gigantic rock of rock, some of almost a thousand meters, that break the uniformity and give a magical aspect to the environment. The beaches of its coasts and islands are totally of very white sand and have nothing to envy to those that can be found in the Caribean or in the Pacific. The water of the ocean is of an intense and warm blue and it is easy to find whales jumping on them or approaching the boats, especially in the area of Ilha de Mozambique. Mangroves are also frequent, where the movements of the tide reveal an intricate labyrinth of channels on the sand, very rich in small marine fauna and birds, at low tide
People are generally friendly and curious about foreigners, and unlike in other African countries, there is an effort to recover part of the colonial splendor, of some settlements which are accompanied by restorations and the appearance of very well-kept hotel establishments. a high level of comfort and services that are promoting a tourism of greater adqusive power and very focused on relaxation or aquatic activities such as coral reef diving or navigation. It is possible that if the political stability of the country is maintained, Mozambique is called to be a country with a strong attraction for its possibilities. If we add to this its culinary culture, mixing the local with the Portuguese, the attractiveness of the country increases remarkably.
As security, it is not a troubled country in general and keeping with minimal care especially in the cities at nightfall as it happens in many Western cities, you should not have problems. Some guerrilla centers have appeared in the north near the border with Tanzania, linked to the appearance of oil in that area, but of little and infrequent activity

About: Tanzania
Wonderful landscapes, wonderful accommodations, wonderful animals, wonderful people

We have booked 10 days safari with Uhuru travel & tours ltd. in January.
From the first moment in Tanzania until the departure on Sansibar it was a very interesting, a surprising and a well-being-feel safari for us, always perfect planned. We have visited Lake Manyara with 1 night in Escarpment Luxury Lodge, we think it was the best that we ever had. But also the other accommodations were very nice.
Also the service and the food supply there.
John, the best driver in Serengeti, told us much about the animals and the people in Tanzania. Favour left his humor. We could be watching for example the big five, but more than this, it was so fantastic to be the whole day in those great environments. All the hotels were very nice and exactly fitting. to us. Thanks to Abdallah for the great organization. An other highlight was the Jozani Forest and the Spice tour. We have learned much. Only the Snorkeling tour Blue safari had not enough time for snorkeling. We also felt good in the Manarani Beach Cottages. Such a nice view to the Indian Ocean.
