Couldn't have been better
5/5

What an incredible holiday! We only had seven days and Rose managed to organise a fantastic trip split between a Kenyan safari and the coast. Ol Seki was the most fantastic camp - from the guides, the food, the staff and the game - it was amazing. The staff even went the extra mile to organise a private candlelit dinner for two out in the bush where we got engaged! I can't recommend Rose and The Luxury Safari Company highly enough. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to all my friends.

The best African tour company ever!
5/5

I have toured with EAV twice, indirectly via Mountain Travel Sobek and again last year directly. I worked with Onesmo Gabriel, the owner, to develop a safari in Kenya and Tanzania for a group of my closest friends. It was spectacular! Onesmo was our trip leader along with Sylvester who assisted. As guides, they were fantastic as were each of our drivers. I trusted them all to give my friends and me a wonderful experience, and my trust was not misplaced. I highly recommend this group and, in fact. am going on another safari to Southern Tanzania in July of 2015.

Lions, Leopards, and Zebras Oh My! What a Fantastic Experience!

Woah- the great migration was incredible!

We planned this trip last minute, as in just enough time to get our yellow fever vaccines. The team at Tanzania Roadside provided great service with quick communication, bookings, and modifications to our itinerary (per our request. )They were able to provide a transfer from Kenya to Tanzania and set us up with luxurious accommodations.

The safari itself was more than we expected. In every direction we saw countless wildebeests, zebras, antelope. We were lucky to witness a lioness and her cubs, a few cheetahs and her cubs, and the big 5. Our driver, Edwin, was professional and provided wonderful insight. He also tailored our experience to our personalities.

Our favorite part was camping in the middle of the Serengeti. I never would have expected a functional toilet, shower, and king sized bed in a tent, but that is what we had! When we planned this trip, we were prepared to rough it. Instead, we stayed in luxurious lodges. Our most "roughing it" moment was when we had to make a bathroom pitstop in the middle of all the animals.

We highly recommenced Tanzania Roadside AND going in December. You will see so many animals with fewer safari trucks and have one of the best holiday experiences.

The Mohlabetsi Safari lodge was superb. The accommodation and food were world class. Nina was priceless and catered to everyone's needs. Our guide Jacque was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the wildlife and had a great personality. The tracker, Herbert, displayed the most incredible skills in tracking the big 5. We were fortunate to see a wide variety of African wildlife and flora in some of the most breathtaking scenery. I would recommend the Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge to anyone without reservation.

The maximum in professionalism and expertise!
5/5

We had 9 different flights and a multitude of transfers and connections, all of which came off with precision. The selection of hotels and camps was the best. We went from Cape Town to Kruger to Victoria Falls to Chobe to Okavango Delta to Johannesburg and at each move we were greeted by exciting adventures. We still have many destinations on our "Bucket List" but if we live long enough to go around twice we will definitely be back.

Ziggy our guide and David Maro of Kilislope Tours did a fantastic job arranging our 5 day tour. Tanzania has a magnificent beauty and Ziggy knew all the best spots to bring us to. A highlight for me was watching a 3 lion cubs nursing, a peaceful scene for such ferocious animals. Hope to come back soon.

Backpacking on a Budget
5/5

My friends and I are volunteering with Focus in Africa and asked Nelson to set us up on a budget 3 day safari. He was able to create an itinerary we could afford to visit Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater. We camped out and had an awesome time. The tents were comfortable, campsites clean with water and electricity, and our cook delicious. I definitely recommend booking you safari with Focus In Africa because they do great work in their local communities and it is a family owned company so your investment remains within Tanzania.
