Fraud - Under investigation
1/5

This company is currently under investigation for fraud. It has taken client money made initial bookings and then cancelled bookings once they have received full payment. The Kenyan Tourist Police have blocked their website. If you have any contact details (other than those on this website) for the company please contact The Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO).

Excellent trip!
5/5

We had an amazing 3-day safari trip to the Murchison Falls with Matoke Tours! Great guide, beautiful lodge with delicious food and quick communication when booking the trip. I would definitely recommend Matoke Tours!

Mr Valentine Gumpo makes empty promises and I find him UNTRUSTWORTHY
1/5

Mr Valentine Gumpo had advertised for a 15 day Wildlife tour to Zambia from Lusaka from 11 to 25 Nov 2014,essentially to cover the Bat Migration at the Kasanka National Park--Lusaka--Upper Luangwa River -- South Luangwa River -- Victoria Falls from Livingstone -- end of tour at Lusaka.
He had offered a discount of 15% on payment of full tour fees ( USD 2800 ) , if paid 6 months in advance. A sum of USD 2380 was therefore remitted to him through my bankers in India , on 6 May 2014-this was duly acknowledged by him , though after my repeated persistence to do so.

My troubles started after he had received the money in his account. He has not given me, todate , the finalised itinerary together with the hotel/lodge reservations and a formal letter saying that I ( ABL Gupta ) have formally been booked for a tour with him-- this is the letter which is mandatory for me to get the visa from the Embassy of Zambia in India.
I am getting to be 79 and have travelled to various wildlife destinations in Africa 4 times in the past 10 years--my impression was that one could trust the tour Operators in Africa on their advertised word on the Net , as invariably I have dealt directly with them ( and not through a tour operator in India ).
I am of the belief that a Code of Honour exists in all such transactions -- but in the present case with Mr Valentine Gumpo, I feel , it is being belied.
I have requested him for a refund , but , on persistent prodding , he simply says that the tour is on.
I would be grateful if Safari Bookings could help me recover my money from him.

Excellent Safari
5/5

My wife and I had a great safari at Masai Mara. The safari and stay were all organized by Segein. Stephen is a great person, and was quite efficient with all the communication before and during the trip. The safari itself was also well organized, with great food! It was a trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic Safari with Bramwell - Highly recommend!
5/5

I went on a three-day/two-night safari with two friends to Tarangire National Park, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara with Bramwell Safaris. We overnighted at Sun Bright Campsite both nights which is located just a few minutes from the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. Our driver and guide, Mark, was excellent, funny, had 10 years of experience and was happy to oblige our requests as to our movements in the national parks. The land cruiser vehicle was very comfortable, didn't break down at all and even had outlets so we could recharge our mobiles and cameras if the batteries ran low. Our cook, Josephat, was an absolutely lovely man and I ate extremely well under his care. I was very impressed with his dishes despite not having a real kitchen at his disposal. William, our safari agent, was very friendly and professional. He replied to emails very quickly and followed-up with us throughout the trip to make sure everything was going well (he even picked us up from the bus station when we arrived in Arusha and made sure we made it to our next destination safely). I thought the trip was great value for money (we had researched quotes from 6+ different safari tour operators and Bramwell came back with the best quote) and we saw a lot of animals, I felt safe the entire time, I ate really well and slept like a baby! I will definitely recommend Bramwell to family and friends when they consider safaris to Tanzania.

Will return to East Africa Exotic Safaris for my next trip
5/5

Me + 2 friends had an excellent time at Basecamp in the Maasai Mara. Raphael was able to negotiate competitive rates for us and help us with the reservation. He continually checked in on me to make sure that I received booking confirmation, directions, that I arrived at the camp safely. I overpaid due to a small miscommunication and he personally delivered the cash to me at my workplace. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and will recommend to friends.

Unfortunately Short but Great Safari Experience
5/5

We had a short safari tour by Gecko Adventure to Mikumi. It was all smooth and nice. Our tour guide 'Afra' was very heplful and friendly. Even if we do 2 days safari, our game drives were very good. We saw almost all the spicies on the park. Thank you again for everything!

Excellent... everything
5/5

When I searched online for safari tours in South Africa my eye immediately caught the elegant Tambuzi homepage. Gert and I got into contact via e-mail at first and told me we could choose anything we’d like to do. Flexibility - first wow! He also phoned me a few times (we live in Europe) which left a very good impression and made me feel very welcome. He constantly kept contact with us over skype and facebook. Assurance - second wow! The package I chose was awesome: it included a variety of things we wanted to see like the Blyde River Canyon, Moholoholo Rehabilitaion Centre, the Panorama Route (God's Window, Berlin Falls, Forest Falls, Potholes, Mac Mac Falls etc), Camp Jabulani elephant back safari, the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and walking with cheetahs. The different camps we stayed at where just amazing. So close to nature, listening to the sounds of the bush, especially at night. Gert organized everything perfectly and we had a lovely time and lots of fun. Variety, quality, organisation - wow, wow, wow! South Africa, we will come again! Thank you very much Gert!
