My name is Chris, gorilla bookings did not leave me the same.
My tour guide Allan was fantastic driver and knowledgeable with Uganda animals, and routes around different places.
I had best moments with wildlife and nature.
Gorilla Bookings made my dreams come true with gorillas.
I can't recommend enough.

An amazing trip that makes you want more of Beautiful Africa
5/5

I took a tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls AMAAAAZZZZZZIIIING. The driver JoJo and cook Nash were fantastic. Knowledgable and friendly. I’m now planning my next trip to Africa as I have fallen in love with this stunning continent. I thought I’d look at reviews for different tour operators and realised that I hadn’t left one..... better late than never.
An overland truck is a great social, safe way to travel and meet people.. we had travellers from Australia, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, South Korea, Austria and of course Great Britain.... 5*****

African Skimmer Safaris provided me with excellent service and value for my safari vacation. Nick, the tour operator, was a skilled and knowledgable tracker and found multiple amazing sitings making for an unforgettable adventure. I was also very pleased with the quality of the hotels chosen as well as the clear communication making for a smooth and easy travel experience. I would highly recommend their services.

The best tour in Kenya and Zanzibar!!
5/5

Thanks to Seven by Far our holiday in Kenya and Zanzibar was wonderful! On arrival at Nairobi airport we were greeted directly by the owner of the company Sylvester, a very polite and professional man. He introduced us to our guide Ben with whom we began our adventure in Kenya. Ben, is a very good driver first, he’s very kind and much trained for this type of tours. He’s always smiling and helpful, he’s very attentive to client needs. To all our questions or curiosity he has always given us the answers. Thanks Ben!! The trip from Nairobi to the Masai Mara Park takes about 5 hours and a half. The kilometres to be covered are not so much (about 250km) but most of the “roads” were without asphalt full of mud and holes. The positive thing is that during the trip you can see the local villages with kids, smiles, customs, colours, etc. Awesome!! In Masai Mara we had a great location in a camp ilkeliani

My Husband and I, just came back from Uganda after 15days tour for safari and gorillas.
We cant hold it off to give credit to Gorilla bookings company for organizing a wonderful vacation for us.
Uganda has been on our bucket list for long over 4 years. Uganda is very safe and hospitality at the peak.

Fair price for the full experience!
5/5

Probably the most amazing week of my life!

About safari in Botswana: it is a bit more expensive than e.g. Kenya but therefor you are not one of a billion vehicles surrounding the animals. I really appreciated the sustainable way they are dealing with the animals and the tourism.

Animals: we saw maybe a hundred giraffes, up to 200 elephants, 25 lions, ... all of them with babies, never would have dreamed of seeing so many! Note: we were in rainy season, you can google the differences.

About Tony / our guide:
Besides Tony there is another guide in the company called Vincent who was responsible for us. He was able to tell a lot about animal behavior, made us feel safe and it was always a laugh. Really cool guy, I really liked him!

Price:
Compared to staying in lodges (excluding those with privates reserves which are way in a different price league) you will see the same animals as everyone is doing their game drives in the same area of the park. The reason his offers are much cheaper is (as far as I can guess) due to being camping instead of staying at a fancy lodge. I didn’t mind it in any way as it made the trip so much more intense.

Staying in the bush:
For the camping we did go for the ‘luxury version’ which allows you to go toilet at night and gives you more time to relax. The latter was appreciated by all of us due to having to take in all the impressions.
The food was basic but well prepared. So there is nothing wrong with some good Spaghetti Bolognese, most food was actually really good.
The car was in a very good condition. I think up to 5-6 persons per car is comfortable, though Vincent said they usually don’t take more than 5 anyway.

Absolutely amazing and stress free. Best choice we made on that trip was picking Toto.
5/5

Our experience with Toto African Adventures was absolutely amazing. We were heaidng to Tanzania on our Honeymoon and had our previous plans for a safari fall through. I sent an email to them on a whim (knowing that email responses in Africa can be slow to say the least-tip:it's always better to call establishments there to get a response as they are not always on top of emails) before boarding our flight in Amsterdam, stating our desired lengh and type of trip and our budget. By the time we had landed in kilimanjaro 9 hrs later, they had responded with a detailed email with a price quote (that was under budget) and outlining exactly what our package would entail. With less than 2 days notice Japheth, the company director had put together a 3 day private luxury safari for us.
He even went a step further and discreetly let the staff at the lodge we were staying at know we were on our honeymoon and they went out of their way to set up private dinners for us under the stars. The price point was very good for all that we got. The accomodations were top notch and the Safari Jeep was modern and exceptionaly clean.
Our driver and guide, Ben, who is a seasoned safari guide with over 20 years of experience was so knowledgable and is probably the reason we saw so many animals in so little time. While no safari company can guarantee how many or which animals you see, we were fortunate to have seen a vast variety including 4 or the Big 5, such as;Elephants,Zebras,Lions,Giraffes,Water Buffallos, Wildabeasts, Hippos, Ostriches,Gazelles, Antilopes, Wild Boards, Monkeys and Baboons and even Rhinos. Our package included Game drives at Tanrangire National Park, NGorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It would be hard to pick my favorite as all 3 had their advanteges but the crater was truly something right out of the Lion King. Tanrangire is renowed for Elephants which explains why we saw so many although we saw tons at Lake Manyara as well.
Toto African Adventures picked us up at our hotel in Moshi and dropped us off at Kilimanjaro Airport on our last day, saving us almost $100 US in shuttles or taxis and providing us peace of mind that we were in good honest hands. They offer stops at souvenir shops along the way so we were able to pick up a few awesome momentos from our time in Tanzania.

I honestly can't say enough great things about Japheth and his team. He was always quick to respond and was great about using Whatsapp to communicate as many of us foreigners are limited to wifi to communicate. 5 Star service from him and his whole team. We got in late Saturday night and our Safari wasn't set until Monday morning so Japheth offered to set up a day trip on sunday for us. We happily accepted and were treated to a delightful afternoon on a coffee bean farm, learning how they produce delicious artisanal coffee. The farmers family prepared an amazing traditional feast and we followed it up with a spectacular hike up to Mataruni Waterfall.

Epic fun and it truly it made our trip feel so much more authentic. We would highly recomment Toto African Adventures to anyone looking at coming to visit Kilimanjaro, Arusha or Moshi areas
