Wonderful Safari in Mikumi
Thanks a lot to Abdul from African-Connect for a very well organized safari to Mikumi!
Starting with an easy pickup, I enjoyed the smooth 3 days with a nice stay in the lodge and an exciting game drive within the park.

A reliable, punctual, flexible and allover excellent tour company.
We had a fabulous safari with Gilibert as our dedicated tour guide. We had the four day full package Big 5 Budget tour which filled all our expectations. We asked the company for some alterations, including an extra night at a hotel in Arusha due to the flight connection, and they were most accommodating.
Our excellent guide Gilibert was always happy, and with a smile he drove our family very securely and smoothly. He managed to spot all animals we wanted to see including a rhino and lions! He had much information to share about all animals, the culture, and he really made everything to make it The best experience for all the family.
The accommodations during the tour were very nice and clean, we especially liked Eileen's Trees Inn with its lovely gardens and great food.
To conclude it was everything we had hoped for in a Safari, a memory for a lifetime!

Better than we could imagine!
Diane arranged the entire vacation, and everything worked out perfectly. Every driver was early, the lodges were better than we could have hoped and the guides and trackers were on top of their game (literally and figurately). She was available for questions both leading up to the vacation, during and even once we got back. She was professional and set up the perfect trip. Not only do i plan to use their services again, but highly recommend them to everyone looking for the perfect safari getaway.

Very professional, very caring.
Thirty four adults arrived from Canada to begin a twelve day safari, the majority of us, our first. Bushland met us at the airport and from that point until we were dropped back off at the airport to go home, we were in the best of hands. Didimus and his five drivers not only showed us all the animals we would ever want to see in Africa, but also educated us on their behaviours. The drives were wonderful and at all times of day to see the different behaviour of the animals.
I never imagined I would be in a lodge in Africa, listening to lions roar at night, hyenas cackle, yet feel safe!! We had a lot of laughs as a group and got to know one another. Many hours before and after dinners exchanging stories over a beverage.
People ask what my favourite animal was, but it is hard to compare. I would say the question should be what was your best sighting of the day, as each day brought something new.
Thank you so much to Bushlands for a wonderful experience.

Living your dream in 3 days in Tanzania
I SIMPLY LOVED EVERY BIT of this new family we bonded with. Damien, our guide was A MA ZING. The most considerate, humble, safe to the bone and wonderful guide ever. He explained every bit of the way, he kept us safe ALL THE TIME, he drove in swamps, mud, rains, ever imaginable condition. Despite the rain or heavy roads, he managed to show us the most amazing time. I wish I had bought 5 days only to stay with him and my time. I really had tears in my eyes at the end. On the other end, Lucas, the cook, was one of a kind. The food was exquisite, warm, on time and punctual. He set the table humbly, offered us a brief presentation of the traditional dishes. He was verg kind and polite. All in all, I am able to say that this was by far THE BEST SAFARI I have ever been in (We have been in Kenya before 3 days) and not onlye the landscapes and game drive and variety of beauty and nature made this small vacation a wonder, but also these guys : I bow down in respect for such wonderful kind human beings, Damien and Lucas

True experience with Morning Star which kill our life time Safari Trip
Our experience with Morning Star was perfect at first which he (morning star boss) responded our message on time and provided us with clear and good design information on the trip plan and cost in details (See picture). We then booked a 9 days trip cover Kenya and Tanzania.
We are really attracted by their info and really looking forward about this trip. We have been asked to pay all the money ahead of trip so they could pay all the NP fees and hotel booking ahead so they will not waste any time in the national park front. Therefore, all six of us paid 40% half year ago and paid rest 60% 2-3 weeks ahead of our trip.
The first three days were good. We were really enjoying the trip in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara NP. We saw a lot of animals and also great views.
However, after traveling into Tanzania Serengeti NP, Morning Star just killed our moods.
First, because Morning Star didn't run in Tanzania by its own, they asked another operators (Mama Savana) to arrange all the park and our guide and Morning Star should pay them at front but Morning Star had failed to do so. The worse thing was Morning Star didn't even notice us.
Mama Savana provided us services the first day with 0 payment made and refused to take us the second day because Morning Star failed to pay them. This gave us a really hard time because we had to spend hours to contact Morning Star to figure out the situation. And all his contact (Phone, WhatsApp, WeChat) suddenly failed and had really bad connection when we finally reached out to him.
The final solution was that we pay again to Mama Savana for all the trip fees in Tanzania to continue our trip and Morning Star agreed to refund us back after.
The results were followed:
1. We paid additional 4k USD which Morning Star should pay (Morning Star claimed that they have some bank issues that they couldn't pay which was a lame excuse to me).
2. We wasted hours to contact Morning Star to figure out situation and solution which Morning Star failed to notice us and failed to solve their problem.
3. We wasted 5 hours traveling between north entrance and middle entrance of Serengeti NP (Because we lived in Middle entrance and we planed to see crossing at North entrance.
4. We wasted 2 hours waiting at the entrance because we didn't pay for park fee ahead. Our guide had to wait for the park front desk to print and give the entrance license.
Serengeti NP should be very nice for a 2 day Safari trip and Morning Star just killed that and rest of our trip(We have 2 days more with Morning Star after) because we worried about the same situation would happen again on our hotel or the coming park fee in Amboseli NP.
The guide from Mama Savana was really nice and companied us all the time. I truly felt our life had been in risk if our guide didn't come to pick us at the second day and all six of us would be left in middle of Serengeti NP with bad phone connections.
And today, after 2 weeks from our trip, Morning Star didn't refund us the money yet. Even Dennis claimed that he would pay within 2 week time.
This is my true experience with Morning Star and we still try to contact Morning Star to ask for our money back.
The worst thing is, what can make us up for our trip lost for those time we could spend on Safaris to see crossing or other wild animals in Serengeti.
Up to now, I didn't see Morning Star feel sorry for our lost because their bad services and failures
Summary:
1. Asking us to pay full payment ahead but failed to provide us the right services
2. Lying on us about they paid all the park fees to save us time
3. Wasting our valuable time in Serengeti NP Safari
4. Claiming to refund our extra payment which Morning Star should pay naturally but fail to do so.
Overall, I don't think Morning Star is a responsible operator. It has no abilities to handle the uncertain during the trip and may risk your life and ruin your whole Safari experience.

Reliable and good tour operator
We took part in a 3-day Masai Mara Safari and a 1-day Amboseli Safari. I am happy to recommend it. Before the program, they answered all my questions by email with a very short deadline. The safari was fantastic, we saw lots of animals. Our guide was kind and always made sure we saw all the animals possible. It was a fantastic experience.
