Amazing - Bucket list checked. Unmissable experience
We were picked up at Joburg airport and the journey to Kruger is not short. We went on a 9 seat van that was ok, but the journey is very long and had 3 stops.
At last, we arrive at our lodge and there were hippos bathing in the lake in front and elephants around. There were so many animals... We were so excited that we forgot the long journey in 10 seconds. The swimming pool is essential in the lodge because the heat in the middle of the day is unbearable.
We did a sunset Safari and we saw lots of animals: Impalas, Zebras, Elephants, Rhinos and Hyenas and when it got dark we were the only ones in the road with 2 big flashlights searching for more animals.
In the next day our guide ask us for our expectation, and we ask to go look for the cats. He did it, we saw lions and even a leopard eating an impala and climbing a tree to eat it. It was amazing.
After lunch it was too hot and all the animals were hidden in the bush so I would recommend a morning and afternoon safari if possible instead of an all-day safari.
In the second day it was even more impressing with lions crossing the roads and even a fight between a lion and a lioness 15 meters away from us. We saw a one week elephant so clumsy.. And so many other things. We loved it.

Trip of a lifetime
We decided to book our Kenya experience ourselves and not use a travel agency in Canada. The safari bookings website was a great help.
I send off e-mails to several companies and only heard back from a few. Tropical Vacations from the start was great at communicating and finding out what we wanted.
What we had thought we wanted and what we ended up with, we could not have been more thrilled.
We ended up with 6 days and 5 nights of the best time ever.
We managed to see Amboseli, Masa Mari and a few other parks.
We saw Kilimanjaro At sunrise and sunset. We saw the big 5 and came home with over 2,000 photos.
Matthew from Tropical Vacation met the needs of the three of us. One person in our group is a birder and he made sure she got to see many new birds to add to her list.
We are glad we followed his advise to upgrade our accommodation as we heard after some of the places we had picked were pretty rough. We did not go luxury and for the fraction extra we paid for mid luxury and to be a private group of three was well worth the small extra.
We thought this would be our onetime trip Africa, but we are already talking about going back.

Fantastic Trip
We recently returned from our 14 day Safari/Zanzibar holiday and had an absolute wonderful time. We really appreciated the fact that Makasa customized our itinerary and always promptly answered any questions regarding our trip ahead of time. Thank you again, Selma!
We always felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The accommodations and meals exceeded our expectations. It's amazing what these places can offer you in the middle of the African bush!
Our driver, Ben, was a super friendly guy with knowledge and patience, and always put us in position for the best pictures. Ben always made sure we had everything we needed and kept us up to speed on when and where we were meeting. The staff at every accommodation was so friendly and helpful.
We saw every animal we had hoped to see and better yet, a lot of action among the animals. Watching lions hunt, antelope fighting, baby elephants nursing, it all felt a bit like we were a part of National Geographic! Such an unforgettable experience.
Thank you Selma and Ngomi.
King regards,
Kyle & Nicole Carr

Amazing safari experience - “Wildlife Safaris” - http://www.wildlifesafaris.com
Amazing experience. Christine and Nic took care of everything. From helping organise flights, to taking us to Kruger, to checking in the lodge, to taking us on the best routes, restaurants, avoiding the queues, taking pictures, and finally taking us home! Always at ease and Nic is THE most experienced man in Kruger. 30+ years experience, nobody has worked in the park longer.
Can’t recommend this enough. Reach out to them, tell them what they want and let them take control. They know what they are doing!
Re price, you may find another firm $100 cheaper, but this $100 savings is given back in either longer queues, jam packed vehicles or poorer food. I wouldn’t look anywhere else, and I know 1 client who has come back to Nic and Christine over half a dozen times.

Lifetime experience at gorrilas
I went to Uganda for gorrilas and I got much more. The beauty of Bwindi forest is breth taking. I loved there everything. I spent two nights in a lodge Bakinga. Unforgetable chats in front of open fire place, we had so much fun. A small group of strangers, met for a first time in life and spent wonderfull time together laughing.
We even saw active volcano from Bakiga terrace on Kong site.
I liked chimpanze trekking as well. Very well organized. Although it is supposed low seazon in December, it was a lot people there.
My guide and driver Gerard from Lifetime safari one of best guids in my life. I am experienced traveller, Uganda was my country no. 53. Gerard is very intelligent, nice a sensitive person. We talked a lot many things. I was very confident sitting in the car next to him. One day was full day rain, we were driving Ishasha. The road because of rain became very very bad but Gerard managed it. He planned our time well with a big experience and confience. Thanks a lot Gerard and Lifetime safari company!
Female solo traveller with a good guide can manage Uganda. My advice- Take profesionals local company and you will safe your time, money. I met guys who broke the car because of terible bumpy roads driving like at home in UK, others who spent all night driving themselves to gorillas park gate, because of not having experience on planing time in Uganda. Then the most incredible experience to see gorrilas becames blurry of tiredness and disapontment.

Well organized and efficient trip
We had a very good trip in the end of november to Okavanago delta thanks to Kenosi. He was very patient with us when we prepared for the trip and changed our plans a couple of times because of flights to Botswana, and at the end of the day we enjoyed a very nice safari. Unfortunately we have not seen wild dogs, but apart from that we were lucky enough to see lots of other animals and in general the trip exceeded our expectations. If we go to Botswana ever again, we will try to use the same agency again.

Great trip. Experienced guide. Simple food. Scenic beauty. Perfect combination.
Since our guide was experienced and enthusiastic about showing us all the animals, he went the extra mile to do so. He succeeded and made us fall in love with wildlife.
The food was simple. Less oily. Less spicy. We ended up losing weight
