an easy and rewarding trip to Maputo Special Reserve
The Maputo Special Reserve is an important link in the regional wildlife conservation efforts and great efforts have been made to re-establish wildlife, virtually extinct after the civil war, and infrastructure. The combination of the shore with beaches and the park with ist wildlife make it especially attractive. There are resorts and campsites and one finds many weekend/holiday visitors from SA with their boats and tents.
Our visit was a short one from Maputo in between work, on a Saturday. Arranged by the owner of our bed and breakfast with her own 4WD. Costs were US$ 200 for the two of us, including park entrance fee. Renting a vehicle or have a travel agency do the trip will be more expensive. A 4WD is needed, the area is mostly very sandy and a normal vehicle will get stuck in no time and isn't allowed in the park. The new Maputo-Katembe bridge (opened end of 2018) and the completely renewed road from Maputo south to Punta de Ouro and the SA border make that the trip from Maputo to the park entrance only takes just over an hour. We spent some two and a half hours in the park, mainly driving to the Lagoa Chinguto, the largest lake in the park. On this short trip, we saw elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo's, impala, southern reedbuck, natal duiker, greater kudu and crocodiles. Birds were abundant, especially waterfowl with both resident and migrant species: spoonbills, yellow-billed stork, egrets, herons, various terns and waders.
The park is espcially interesting for those with little time to spend but still want to see wildlife, and for those who have more time to spend and combine a beach-park-camping/lodging trip.

1 day excursion to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
We had a wonderful day at the Ngorongoro Crater thanks to Leonce our tourguide and driver.
We highly appreciated the additional efforts he made to ensure that we got the the bus to Moshi the next morning.

The African adventure
If you want the African adventure, you need to get in touch with Nhojo. He will listen to you, your requirements, your needs and then work hard to get you what you want. We asked him for an african adventure in a raw form and he helped us. And all this was done within two days as we had planned a sudden trip. He answered all the queries (event the most silly ones). He made the trip to Serengeti an unforgettable experience. I still cant stop singing - In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle.... Will visit Tanzania again and would like you to help us with Mafia islands and Zanzibar.
Thank you so much Nhojo!

Beautiful scenery, diverse
We were family of 3 (10 yrs old kid) and traveled through Garden route via motorhome (camper).
We started planing the trip a bit late since we were traveling from 30/12-10/1/2020--high season. For that reason sometimes the accommodation (camp grounds) were either full or did not have much of a choice. Few times we had to go to a chalet or bungalow, which was in our case not necessary since we had a motorhome...Also I believe the company does not have much experience in organising a trip for motorhome, so at the end of the trip , we would do few things different as far as accommodation.
Everything else was really nice from Karoo area , Schotia Safari, Tsitskiama national park, etc.
Correspodence with Elmor and his collegues was good and they would answer email fast .
I would definately recommend this company for organising your trip, just make sure you start organising it far in advance for the high season!

My fourth in 20 years and just as good
Wildlife - good, scenery - fantastic, weather - mixed, but mostly good, accommodation - good to excellent (mostly the latter), food - fantastic (even if portions were a bit on the large size!), transportation - always good, guides - all excellent and informative. We had 3 holidays in one, first safari in the Kruger, then to Port Elizabeth, hire car and drive down the Garden Route and finally 6 days in Cape Town. All those running the guest houses etc we stayed at were very friendly and helpful. All accommodation was clean and generally well maintained. Most importantly we never felt anything but safe and felt comfortable wherever we went. No doubt there is crime (as anywhere) but it never raised its ugly head. In fact we were impressed by the honesty of all we met.

A real adventure!
It was a good adventure! The wildlife, the parks were amazing! The only thing we did not enjoy was our guide. Not very nice, not available to show us around the park, we were always the last to leave the the camp and the first to return. The last day we waited 2hours for him to get inside the park, he was sitting aroud and talking to some other drivers. Our cook was great, and al the meals were perfect!

Great Time Traveling to Ruaha and Mikumi!
We had a great time on our 4 day 3 night safari from Dar to Ruaha then Mikumi before going back to Dar. Our driver, Samuel, was an excellent guide and was always looking out for us. The company offered us a package that was not so much on the 'luxury' side of safari experiences (though not on the shabby side either!) but that was good for us because it was much(!) more affordable than the other very expensive packages I was offered, a bit of an adventure, and still incredibly enjoyable. I'd recommend this company to other potential safari go-ers...and if we go back to TZ we will use them again.

Over all amazing experience
We went on a 4D/3N safari trip to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Both Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro were great experiences with lots of animals and beautiful nature! Serengeti on the other hand was a bit disappointing in our opinion. Not many animals and the roads were not good. Beautiful nature though.
We chose tented camps which was a different but great experience as well. Close to animals.
